- Lividian Publications is in the top 5 publishers I collect. I cheer on everything they do--even the stuff I don't buy. I'm happy to share my experience with them and hope you give them a look and have Lividian experiences yourself.
You should know this video is a perfect example of why I'm a better writer than speaker. It's loaded with errors that I had to correct in the edit. I hope you'll forgive those mistakes. I also wanted to say that I think Lividian has the best logo out of all the small press publishers.

One thing I would ding Lividian on is the page design--sometimes it's overdone. I didn't consider that until I did this video and looked at all the books together and I didn't want to put that in the video, but I wish Lividian would tone it down a little. I noticed the same issue on Dr. Sleep from CD during BJF's tenure. This is just a small sidenote. It obviously doesn't dim my excitement and love for these books. And there are those who may prefer all the additional touches and page elements.

Oh boy, I'd have to have some of their books to be able to share an opinion. From what I've seen, the editions look gorgeous from both of those publishers. Maybe have them send me some copies to review . . . :)

Yeah I thought about that but I didn't want to make the history lesson any more confusing than I already made it.
Every time McCammon puts out a Corbet book It's the last one. King of Shadows was supposed to be the last.
Hmmm, not sure where you heard that. Last year when I saw him at the King of Shadows book signing (I did a video on it as well) he said there were two more--the Seven Shades collection and Leviathan. He even gave the backstory about why the book was titled Leviathan. It's pretty funny.
