Gerry unboxes the 28mm plastic set from Wargames Atlantic for the Conquistadors. You can use these for an array of 15th and 16th Century battles in Europe and beyond and they can be paired up against their existing Aztec Warriors too.

The kit comes with enough bits to make twenty-four of these soldiers armed with sword, spear, halberd, crossbow, and musket. The array of head options then allow them to be taken by other powers of Europe during the period too.

For the Warhammer fan of a certain vintage they'd also make a cheap alternative to scouring Ebay for late-5th/6th ed Empire troops. You could happily throw them on an AoS table too (I may pick up a few to that end), but they'd look a little out of place next to the more stylised 7th/8th State Troops

Good for Mordheim, or, honestly Frostgrave.
Looking forward to picking up a sprue or two worth of these for kitbashing. Frostgrave and related games have such an interesting variety of statlines to depict, it almost demands making conversions.
They're amazing. The heart shields are called adargas and are probably the most iconic "Iberian" piece of kit any pre 1600 and post 700 set or army can have

I recently assembled a box of these as the beginning of a Conquistador army for ADLG and absolutely loved them, with a couple of quibbles. The flat shield backs are a bit odd, and the un-numbered parts make matching arms for some of the weapons surprisingly difficult.
Seems like they've addressed this issue with their sprues for 0200, I just hope they continue it going forward.
These would be great for when roleplaying group *think* they can take over a Spanish Galleon. Most of the crew of those ships were in the infantry company and the commander of the infantry was in command of the ship and not the ship's captain.
I just picked up the Conquistador and Aztecs box set and looking at the sprues these are fantastic miniatures and at a $1.30us a great value as well.
I was debating about how these would be for Blood & Plunder as poorly antiquatedly equiped town militia, then thought they could be fun for Frostgrave, actually.
They announced that set too early. They look great though and I still want some. I no longer have space for them lol.

These fantasy empire troops are far better than GW's...and they aren't even that 🤣
welll some thing to lok at cude ues units of guys like this fore enpier guys can say kit bash with GW guys bits if whant all croes bows but if whent pike i do all metal pikes hope get at show I am going to see more as post
Really cheap and some variety, but those halberds and great weapons are horrible. Wargames atlantic should invest a bit more into quality, just a bit. Many box looks intresting untill you see them upclose.
