- A subscriber asked me to practise some small talk and talk about my past. So, in this video, I'll answer some questions about my early life and my school time. I'll also show you some typical questions in past simple. I would recommend you learn the questions so you can use them in your small talk situations. Also, listen to my answers and look at the verb that is on the screen. You can use these verbs when answering questions about your past.

Hey, Giovanni. Thanks for the feedback. Glad you found it interesting. To answer your question: when I moved to Madrid in 1998, it was an obvious thing to do because there were a lot of language schools looking for native English speakers. Also, I've always loved education and learning and when I was younger I often thought about becoming a teacher. So, it made sense from that perspective as well.
