Thank you so much for making us hear the ON and OFF sounds. That clarified so many concepts for a layman like myself.
Glad it was helpful!
deep diving to understand and manage the system put in in 2016, like your experience everything they did was wrong or cut corner: no unions, no electric cutout, cables buried with no conduit, why call the people (in my area anyways) who do the same....work...if that word applies here. Admire your one-step-at-a-time over each roadblock as you went along, and so important to have the kiddo there, before My City Life I helped my father with the earlier systems , as well as plumbing and electric, and really got into it. Life long life skills. Nice piece of work all along.
I love finding the specific video for my problem. Put the pump in today, but it wasn't going on when I thought it should. Float wasn't tethered. Now it is, and it goes on at a lower water level as needed. Thanks!
I'm a homeowner and trying to get up to speed. I had a contractor here recently who installed a new septic pump for an above ground system. Those guys were moving fast when pumping and installing the new pump. They've been in the business a long time, but still, I wish I'd been somewhat more familiar with the process while attempting to understand the process preformed. I'm not sure the float was tethered as you illustrate. It's a bit frustrating that I pay for a service, but have to do my own homework regardless the work completed, be it plumbing, septic, electrical, roofing, haha you name it. The work ethic of this country is going south. I don't mind paying a fair price, but provide a fair product, labor included.

Simple explanation ~ thanks!
My sewage ejector sounds like grinding something that I can even here the sound up main level and 2nd floor. May I know the cause of that grinding or pumping sound?
Thanks!
Sometimes when my pump activates It will discharge a few times in succession back to back why would it do this ? It doesn't do it all the time it turns on but it seems like it's doing it more often
Thank you. Pretty clear.
