This was my fifth time seeing her in 10 months and every set was a completely different and magical experience. There were people crying with joy in the crowd and I can't wait for the next one!
I was definitely one of those people crying. I don't have the words to successfully describe this set but the emotions among the crowd were incredible.
I can't remember a set when every single person around me was smiling. I think we all knew how much they owed this redemption set to CloZee and we're all so proud of her! ❤

@@sealight78 Drive however far you need to, its such an uplifting and soul charging experience. Her fans are some of the most wholesome and happy crowds I've ever seen. I'm about to fly to Costa Rica on my honeymoon to envision so I can see her in the jungle next year!

So hyped when I heard this was happening and then packed in like sardines. Bummer but at least I saw some other dope sets in the mean time.
I know this has probs been said by a lotta people by now but there’s a bit of a backstory behind this set. Her Saturday night set had some major technical difficulties (a.k.a bass kept going in and out) that were so bad that they decided give her a surprise/redemption set on Sunday in the Carousel Club. It was super short notice since most people didn’t even find out till Sunday afternoon if these rumors were true or not. Anywayssss, Clozee fuckin brought it!! She played a completely different set than her set from the previous night! It was bonkers good. She threw in plenty of remixes and even plenty of genre/tempo changes. It was fuckin incredible! The crowd energy was amazing as well. It was a fantastic way to close out Forest! This was like my seventh time seeing her and she just keeps getting better each time. I felt so sad for her when the technical difficulties were going on! I could just imagine her stress and frustration 😣 I hope she realizes that we know shit happens! We'd have waited all night for everything to work out 😁 Everyone within ear shot of me just hoped she wasn't stressing it too hard....we just felt bad for her 😟.... and we got to know our neighbors and took the time to rest a bit.... What a magical time 🌠 And the secret set just threw space dust on the magic! 😆🥳🤸💓

Even more history to that. In 2018 she was supposed to play the observatory and then two artists canceled bumping her to play at the court which helped give her major exposure . She said that forest and bonnaroo helped launch her forward in her career. So going back to sherwood court after all those years and after the pandemic was kinda like a home coming which is why it was also even more upsetting that set had issues . But there was so much love and support they allowed her to have a redo set .
so glad our neighbors told us about this 5 minutes before it started - we ran through the forest so freakin fast ahaha. was stuck around the fence in the back, unable to see shit, but we were VIBING. met this amazing couple that we spent the rest of the fest with 🙌🏼 clozee out here bringing forest fam together on a spiritual level ✨🙏🏼💕

I live for the live sets! I have been so lucky with clozee this year. I had no idea who she was until recently. She played a small two night show in my home city, I just went out of curiosity and I loved the first night so much I had to find someone selling their tickets to go twice in a row. Then the double forest set?!? Each one so different, never the same drops placed in the same place. She is a master of her craft and I cannot see her enough. It is like a sensory bath to see her live.

My heart broke for you, Clozee, when the bass went out at Sherwood. I was so frustrated at hearing people booing, I couldnt believe anyone would bring that kind of vibe to your set. Especially seeing as how you were trying so hard to get the sound issue worked out. Im so glad you got to play your set later, this was absolutely beautiful! Thank you for the love 🤙

@@snakejazz Appreciate your input, and thinking more on it, you're right. The word I should have used was 'surprised' instead of frustrated and 'disappointed' rather than my disbelief. I dont have strong opinions on what other people do or how they think in their personal life, its not really my business. However, in the spirit of what I understand the Forest to be, I do find the booing and other rude comments I heard thrown at Clozee to be in poor taste. A technical malfunction can happen to anyone who performs, shouting "you suck" and slinging profanities is unwarranted. I agree that, since my previous comment was vague and used stronger language than I intended, it could come across as gaslighting or virtue signaling. Thanks for checking me on that. What I meant to convey was my support for an artist that I saw struggling in her performance while her audience berated her. I'll be more careful with how I choose my words in the future, thanks again 🤙
Damn i wish i couldve went to forest but life has been getting in the way. This might be her best set beating out Shambhalaroo and wormhole. She KILLED this set. She is a wizard with the deck and daw and her mixing is as good as liquid stranger when it comes to making remixes on the fly. She knows how to get a crowd going while still incorporating her healing soothing rhythms

I love that I have this in my memory forever to revisit and relive it as much as I want. Truly one of those "in the moment" experiences. We had actually missed her first set and I was for sure bummed. We left Sunsquabi a bit early to catch this. It was packed so we went around the back (I know, shame on us haha) and had our own little clozee back stage experience and an open corner right next to the stage. Had tons of room to dance with my light whip and be free. See ya next year 💕💕

I’ve been listening to clozee since 2015 when I was the most lost and down in my life, to see her journey to headlining some of the biggest fests in the world which such a huge fan base makes me so warm and happy inside :’) 🖤
