I was friends with Phil way back in San Diego in the early '60's, and he lived on the next street over from Epaulette St. He introduced me to the Smother's Brothers records and we both laughed. He showed this video at his home when we were in the 8th grade together, so this was made probably back in 1963 or '64. He was always very skilled making monsters out of clay. I moved on in 1967 and never saw him again, but I did call him up after I saw Star Wars in 1976 and told him that I was proud of him making the chess characters for the movie. Pat Thompson
