While Max Park was at our office last month, we recorded some of his solves in slow motion! Max moves at an almost inhuman speed, so being able to slow the solves down makes it much easier to follow along with his solves. We hope you enjoy this video!

Last week during the SacCubing competition I ended up at the same practicing table as Max, and it was absolutely incredible watching him solve! He would scramble, inspect, and solve in less than 15 seconds, then repeat over and over!
thats nice!
Holy
I just don't get how a foundational fundamental of the U2 or D2 double flick does not exist for Max Park's solving style. It is truly remarkable.
antonie cantin but th
I don't think it's necessary when his tps and lookahead is godly.
he physically can't do double flicks - issue with the fingers
@@koulmemaybe you mean to tell me MAX PARK’s fingers can’t physically U2🤨
He MAXimises stability.
His turning is so accurate!
The cube almost doesn't lock and flex because Max doesn't depend on cornercutting.
nah it's because of the magnets
This cube has almost no friction and, if not for the magnets, will spin like a spinner toy. I'm sick of my GAN
@@James-wd9ib
Try a tighter setting. I can't let you give up on a big investment such as a Gan Cube.
His finger tricks are soo good and his executions, his transition from F2L TO OLL and Then to PLL! INCREDIBLE MAX!
Even in slo mo he is still faster than me.
It's crazy how he doesn't do double flick but still has 10+ tps
2:59 That transition out of OLL was so smooth I couldn't even identify the PLL in slo-mo. Unless it was some advanced LL stuff that I don't know as an intermediate solver 😵💫.
It's na perm. I thought it was a jb perm (because Max was turning SO fast like you said).
It's called 2 face recognition PLL. You must have heard it before
On that particular oll, its really easy to predict pll during OLL, because only one of the edges moves. So if you know 2 sided pll recognition, you can easily transition fluidly into PLL.
@@naufaldybambang4231 yes, I have and can with some PLLs at this point (I average about 20s) but I'm just always amazed at the speed at which others like Max can transition so quickly. I understand it conceptually but am amazed when I see it in practice, that's all.
@@gauthamgopinath3362 yeah it makes sense. It's just something I'm always amazed at when I see it. I'm an average solver so that next level is fascinating to me, that's all.
the no double flick looks really weird in slow-mo
tru
That's really amazing to watch!! He's incredible! 👏🏻 Edit: I rewatched it and it's a beautiful thing in slow-mo
So beautiful, it's a kind of art.
More of these please :D Also from bigger cubes. I could watch this for hours.
Gotta love these cube videos
I didn't know that Max used the RU Z Perm!!
This was very enlightening. He's just faster at everything, not necessarily always cleverer (yes cleverer for certain cases I'm sure). Fast vision, recognition, and execution. It's often the same basic F2L and OLL algs I would have chosen, but man is he orders of magnitudes faster
max is the best
incredible
wow! awesome!
Cube but fast but slow
"Bro, double flicks are faster"
Max: "Oh yeah, watch this"
he still does them slower than people that do doubleflicks
@@BrinaSun Lol I could easily be convinced that's true. Still amazing how fast he is without it though.
I've been waiting for so long to a slow motion cube solving video. And this video is great!
Watching the normal speed of the video after the slow mo is like watching fast forwarded video 😂 do you guys feel the same?
I think TheCubicle should put the normal speed video first before the slow mo 🙏
Agreed 💯💯
When he was solving full speed I honestly thought it was sped up.
Me too 🤣🤣
same
Same
Any chance you saved the scrambles for these? It would be cool to try and follow along with these awesome solves!
Brilliant even learnt some finger tricks albeit done much slower
Oll on since 2 was beautiful
Yoo! This is crazy! I always thought Max knew how to perform each OLL algoritme from every angle... turns out he has to set up to standard orientation/angle, like everyone else
Super cool. What cube is he using?
Epic
amazing how perfect his lap is going so fast
Not trying to say I am better than Max Park... But I can do double flicks 😂
*MAXimum sPARK 🔥*
A bit late of the party here... but this is amazing. My reaction was a bit...
Slow motion - "that one! ...geez, how long is he going to take to see that pair?! Maaaaax!"
Regular speed - "wait, what ...just ...happened?"
It's like seeing a subway in slow motion!
Oh yes
His lookahead is insane dude
Pls give us some more solves from different legends (Like Feliks or Matty etc.) in slo mo. 🙏🙏🙏
It relly helps me in learning some new finger tricks
The fact that he’s turning that fast without double flick
Now for my daily dose of asmr cubing
Key is lookahead, you can see all his moves are continuous with no pauses
Can someone tell me the Z Perm alg that he used on the first solve? I want to try that RU Z Perm.
Which cube is he using?
It’s so crazy that he doesn’t do double flicks!
Here's an idea:
Try having someone guess a solve's time after seeing it in slow motion.
Don't know why but his full speed looks like it's in fast motion after watching the slow one.
Imagine how fast he'd be if he learnt more advanced finger tricks like double flicks... Still, incredible solves and now I can see his solutions
But part of the reason he's so fast I because he's very accurate and doesn't make mistakes often. Maybe he likes to hold the cube with as many fingers as possible for added stability. Just an idea. I honestly have no clue.
What cube is he using?
what method does he use?
it would be helpful if you mention which cube he used or anybody else
Why does that matter? Just about any speed cube that came out in the last couple years is capable of being solved this quickly. The most important thing is to find a cube that fits your turning style since it's almost certain that your personal turning style won't be identical to others'.
Still way faster than me at normal speed! ;)
Lord Park, I hereby announce you are Fast but SLOW and you should be granted the ‘half fast and half slow award’
Amen
Max "No Double Flick King" Park.
Does anyone know which 3x3 is this?
After watching in slow mo, the original seems like time lapse
it would be better if we could get a back view so i can comprehend max's thought process
His tps in slowmo is caster than my tps
Cube that's fast, but slow
I beat Max Park by a second!
Edit: ah, yes. Might've forgotten to mention he was in slow mo
non-cubers will say this was sped up
after the slow mo looks like you sped it up
Not doing U2 but still faz
Pls tell us steps
Still his slow version is faster than me
how is he so fast without double flicks
Hello I am the 6th person to comment and 13th person to view
Gay
idk why why max doesn't do double flicks
like most people do U2 but max does U U
Max mains RU Z perm whaaat
Also on the last solve last solve that N perm TPS....
What cube is that?
Looks like a black internals gan 11, but I'm not sure
@@MurihSantos maybe wrm 2021 maglev it's not clear whether its black or purple
@@seemaarora7872 WRM doesn't have magnet adjustment on the corners ;) It's a Gan 11 M Pro. The internals are black but the corner magnet adjustment levers are still primary. And there's nothing visible on the edges - whereas on the WRM there are adjustable magnet capsules.
@@OlgaFyodorova that's big brain
@@seemaarora7872 nah, I just have some cubes and pay attention to details. I wouldn't mix up a WRM and a Gan even if I couldn't look at the inners - the center caps are different :P
0:55 I don't understand why he did that Z perm he could have just done the alg with M moves and would have been much faster
It's regripless, and it makes you stay at homegrip.
Which might also explain his non-doubleflicking style.
I slow-moed the slow-mo at 0.25
His Z perm
(R' U' R U') (R U R U' R' U R U) (R2' U') (R')
Ru zperm
😂
I need cubes🥺
save up
Be Max park
hey I can beat him.
Feliks can care bout the full speed not me
Hi speed cubed! Subbed to ya channel!
@@Fzcubing oh hey
100th comment
pretty unsatisfying that he isn't using double flicks lol
these videos are awesome, but his fingers are kind of ... disgusting
