The seven year slip the romance was in the background for me. I really liked the touch on grief and finding yourself or your own joy when you think you should have it all figured out. The romance was cute but reading this after I lost my grandma the mentions in grief hit hard. When she talked about handwriting and never seeing a note from her aunt again I was a mess.
I didn't understand the time slipping in The Seven Year Slip either as far as the weeks in between? I tried to just enjoy it as a fun ride without understanding the magic system but it was a little difficult. I ended up giving it a 3.5 as well! I'm excited for you to start content creation & youtube full time! Go you girl!
this was such a fun twist on the phone screen challenge! you've def made me a bit wary of the seven year slip, but at least now i know it's insta love-y. 😅
This is a fun challenge!! Crazy to think about how often and normal the urge to pick up our phones and scroll is 😅😅 esp when I'm always complaining about not having enough time to read LOL! Glad you found some enjoyable reading time ❤🎉
Can I say I 100% agree ur opinions of seven years slip!!! It’s like I’m not sure what is not right but it’s just not clicking. And I know it’s a lot of my friends’ favorite so I’m really confused lol
I like this concept! I had to DNF The Seven Year Slip despite being 51% in, I just wasn't enjoying it. For me, it left me really confused how this concept of time traveling wasn't explained enough, and it also made me realize I prefer cozy small town over big city feel. But glad you finished it and I always say reading isn't a one size fits all thing anyways
Ahh I recently picked up Recursion and after seeing your video (and Ian’s), I’m even more excited to read it!! I felt similarly about The Seven Year Slip. Definitely enjoyed it overall and liked the writing but the romance moved too fast for me and I didn’t 100% connect with it or the main female character 😬
🙋🏻♀️ Me, I DNF I wasn’t enjoying it, made me realize I’m just not meant to be a big metro city girl 😅 Told my husband I was struggling to get through it because everyone else loves it and swears it’s life changing But you know what, reading is not a one size fits all and that’s okay❤

Great vlog. Can't wait to be fully back in my reading routine when my moving boxes are all unpacked lol. I got under 13 left. 📚☕🎃📦🍁
Oooo definitely pick up The Prison Healer again and read it, it's one of my favourite fantasy books and I think you will love it! 😊
Loving the consistent uploads!

You should read Wayward Pines series by Blake Crouch it’s very good. Very mind bending
i didn’t even know this was a stat you could see, now i’m scared to look at mine 😅😅
Hahah that’s how I felt🫣
I DNFd the Seven Year Slip and I feel so alone in not enjoying it the way the rest of the internet seems to have lol
Girl you are not alone
🙋🏻♀️ Me, I DNF

Not alone. Haha.
I finished it and didn’t like it at all haha so I get that
I just loved the book.. it’s nice soft romantic. Also I liked the writing style of Ashley Poston
