    I was once in a hospital in Kenya and asked for soup.they brought me beef chunks boiled beef chunks. No onions, no spices, just stock with plenty chunks of meat. But the veggies were on point and I loved that.

    That for me ain’t a chicken stew but a semi chicken stew…….lays between a chicken curry or something. Keep the chicken stew simple.
    A real African stew doesn’t require marination and is a light sauce.
    Am sorry today this is off for me.

      I think it depends on what someone has..... those ingredients within your reach...
