I like the finger trick
it stops the flare
Great flow in this vlog Paul, great images 👍 you have worked very hard to bracket all those, good tips with blocking the sun 🌞 with your hand.. Nice one 👍😀
thanks mate not heard from you in a while
Awesome images Paul!
thank you
Fantastic Paul sunset was stunning so were your images. Awesome...
thank you buddy
Liked the hdr pano.....good video
thanks buddy..
Great video Paul - another set of super images with good explanations of both how you chose your compositions and associated camera techniques. You have a great eye for seeing an image. Cheers
thank you, i do feel i see an image ok... but nothing special really
@@paulcomptonpdphotography You have a gift, combined with boundless enthusiasm. And very many loyal subscribers to confirm both!
lol thank you
Nice images and plenty of work to put them together.
oh yes these are not easy to process
Great tips...I'll have to try that if I get any sun, off to glencoe...forecast rain for the week...haha
Beautiful set of photos...nice work!
i may see you coming back give me a wave on the M74
Those were some awesome shots Paul! Love the HDR-s, and the ones with the heather also gave the photo’s something extra. Thanks for sharing and see you next time!
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you
Great vlog and images, special memories of a great weekend with you and Denise, told you it wasn’t a bad place for sunset lol
Nigel mate it was perfect thank for showing me around
I think you enjoyed that one Paul. Super images once again and I agree with you there is definitely a calendar shot at 18:37.
great stuff ill keep one for 2022
Did you notice those tiny humans standing on your lens when you took that last pic. Thanks for sharing.
haha they was small
Enjoyed that one bud - some places just have that wow factor. Being on Anglesey my similar place is Llanddwyn Island ( I know you know it ) - every time I go i end up putting the camera down, sitting and just watching the amazing scene of a setting sun in a coloured sky. Sometimes its just better to look I reckon.
love that island i must go back again soon as we can
See you were bracketing some of the shots, what settings did you have the camera on 3, 5 Or 7 shots? Love some of those Paul I’ve put that down as a place on the go to list for sure 😁👍📷
i use 5 shots going 1 stop at a time 2 stop each side
I missed the heather a month ago, the light was grey and flat throughout and only picked up after it had 'gone over'. Have to say the sphagnum moss was spectacular this year (not something I'd normally consider shooting) but as it covered boulders and tree stumps it looked like green waves over the land. Autumn has now arrived and the chestnuts and sycamores are amazing in the bright sun. The beeches are just starting to go and then we have the larches to come. A golden season, which means we can all stay local and get some colour.
i have just been to the Lake District come back with no colour, its not out yet
@@paulcomptonpdphotography That far south its probably not cool enough yet. The sycamore leaves are carpeting the floor here. Pity its going to rain for the next three days and turn it to muddy brown.
am i still aloud to come to Scotland i am off next week
@@paulcomptonpdphotography The short answer is yes, although new regulations, like an English tiered system are due to be discussed in the Scottish Parliament in the next couple of days. I can't offer you a stay over as we're not the same household. You can park the van in our carpark behind the flat (and use the loo). Two different households are allowed to meet outdoors at 2 metres distance. Shops are open at the moment. Alcohol is only allowed to be served outdoors, Cafes/restaurants/shops must keep strict 2m distance and shut at 6pm.
Regulations are tighter in the Central belt (Glasgow to Edinburgh) with different households not being able to meet...at all, indoors or out, excluding workplaces.
However as landscape photography is a sort of solo performance it probably won't affect the vlogging aspect.
To be honest I'd delay it if possible. It could change part way through any visit. I think the central belt may go to 'stay indoors' fairly soon. (I'm outside the Central Belt in Stirlingshire)
The best site to check for regulations is www.gov.scot
I hope that's sort of clear.
Let me know, you've got my mobile number.

Wow that was a good evening what a lovely place to be, I much prefered your pictures towards the end of the shoot when you could actually see the light in the lighthouse and not just a silhouette of it. Its just a shame that the many adverts that came on took so much away from the hard work you put into this evenings shoot.......Thank You for sharing some great landscape pictures with us it was a pleasure to watch!
can you let me know how many adds come up, as i will contact UA-cam and ask why so many
@@paulcomptonpdphotography Hi Paul sorry to be a pain, but there was 4 or 5 add breaks in programme when I watched it, if it's part of your income then please please ignore my complaint you guys earn every penny for what you do and your slots are very popular with many people but the adverts do take a lot away from your 15-20 minute slot. Sometimes when the add comes on they come on at full blast enough to make you jump out your skin, you turn the sound down and then you come back on very quite its annoying. 6 or 7 weeks ago I had the same problem with Jason Jones, the powers that be put a Durex add on I told Jason about it! and he wasn't to pleased about it.. I dont pay for UA-cam but they are prompting me to, I wont do that why should I, best wishes Des.
The adds are out of our control, we can tick yes or no. You do get a very small amount for them if people use the adds but its very small. I dont get to know what adds they are and i dont get to say how many, the biggest trouble is if i say no UA-cam will not publicis my videos and they will not get seen..
@@paulcomptonpdphotography That's fair enough Paul you tried! I shall still watch your video's, you work hard on them and you deserve the following that you get, once again Thank you for all the hard work you put into them. Take care...
