How wonderful of that young lady to show you around. I have to say this has happened to me on several occasions in rural Italy - Italians are often very generous with their time and will share their knowledge of their home town (particularly if you have a little Italian).
Thank you for introducing me to Gubbio. I watched this video 3 years ago and added it to our itinerary. Gubbio is a great hub for Umbria. The stone city certainly wins you over at first sight with its medieval charm. We arrived in Gubbio a few days ago and enjoy exploring its labyrinth of alleys, narrow streets, and shops.
Gubbio is of the places where Franco Zepperelli 1968 Romeo and Juliet was made, Piennza, Artena as well! ❤️❤️❤️ It's on my bucket list to visit soon as these restrictions are done 👍✅
An absolute gem! Not only a historically fascinating town, but the people there are very beautiful and so interesting to observe. This is truly the type of video that provides so much detail and insight that travellers could gladly go out of their way to visit this special looking place!
Extremely interesting video! I am especially pleased that you recommended visitors to use the bus from Perugia to Gubbio. Most tourists (especially British tourists like me!) hardly ever think of using buses to get BETWEEN towns.
I enjoyed your visit to Gubbio, comparing it to our visit a few years ago. We happened to be there when the crossbowmen were having a match. They set up facing City Hall and with their backs to the great staircase. Their clothing and weapons were an amazing look back to, I suppose, the Rennaissance.
Gubbio is a fantastic town, I've been there quire a few times, I once hired a villa just outside of Gubbio, I've got a plate from Ristorante Taverna Del Lupo celebrating their 50th anniversary. Umbria is one of my favourite regions in Italy
Grazie molto Dennis and Isabella! What a sweet girl! These are the spots you need to visit in Europe if you want to have an authentic experience. The big cities and places that are accessed by cruise ships are completely overrun with the worst type of tourists.
Beautiful like always please Mister Callan if you in Umbria region add a reportage from Perugia, next year im going there but I like your points of the view. Cheers 👋

Hello, yes gubbio is a small town, you can visit it in a day, it's a beautiful place, went there a couple years ago, i totally recommend it for a day trip.
Awesome video! My husband's family is from Gubbio. We really enjoyed your intimate look at the town. Please continue to make your beautiful, informative and friendly films of Italian towns. Qs. Is it best to take a train to Perugia from Rome and then the bus to Gubbio if you don't rent a car?
Lots of great information for someone planning to visit, thanks for making the video. Just an observation, perhaps less is more when it comes to narration. :)
I'm from Honolulu, he's from Seattle, but thanks, I'll take that as a compliment. Our styles are different. He is always on camera, center of attraction, and develops many personal stories, whereas I am almost always behind the camera, and focus more on the places rather than talking with families in their homes -- except this Gubbio video at Isabella's house for dinner!!

Lovely tour of a very interesting town. I enjoyed the upload very much. Thank you from Australia.
It's like watching a documentary! Shooting, editing, narration and even casting are great!👍👍👍
It’s the people we meet on our travels that make our journeys memorable. Umbria is a wonderful area to visit, and your video really showcases this.
Thanks for this beautiful video
You're the best travel channel out there. It's a darn shame that more people have not subscribed to you.
My most favorite medieval town in Umbria along with Pienza in Tuscany. Thanks for your nice video.
I agree, and I also have a video about Pienza ua-cam.com/video/FPqtEyIszpo/v-deo.html
