What a lovely way for the passerby to let you know that he appreciates the work you're doing to bring this garden back to its former glory! Kindness lives!
This is so heart-warming. You are tidying the garden for the lady who has had a double hip replacement. Then that gentleman comes along and shares his food with you. There is kindness in the world. How wonderful.
The best gentleman's in the world. I would rather cook for these two gentlemen. The only question is: "Will German food be accepted and liked?" Because . . . I am an hobby cook.
You guys are just amazing you can do this much work for this lady. I live in the US and at 75 years old I cannot take care of my yard. Terminal cancer just means the next owner will have some work. Rock landscape but bushes sure need to be shaped and you have an eye to do it. Just how do you have the energy to make this look so good? Does any organization help you at least for your time and equipment wear. 👍👍👍👍👍
Video before this one those two hard working guys couldnt decide if they loved apple crumble more than the apple pie. Crumble’s easy to make and serve it with a dollop of vanilla ice cream. Fresh salad sandwiches are the quick fix to eat working hard in any garden makes you hungry, food fuels your energy and keep you going longer 🌮 🥧
I appreciate the fact that you don't just go in mow, trim and call it good. Instead you mow, trim, prune and clean up the beds leaving the place look twice as good as they do here. You seem to be one of the nicest couples doing gardening ( lawn care here). You work so well together. Thanks for the video!
Really appreciate the care you're taking with this garden. I stopped watching a different landscape cleanup UA-camr who absolutely ravaged a landscape indiscriminately. Nearly cried watching that guy destroy obviously intentional ornamental grasses, hostas, and other landscape plants. You're displaying your knowledge, skill, and care. Subscribed.
As a person with knee replacement I want to thank you for doing this for this lady. Very, very kind of you and I am sure it meant the world to her. I hope she was able to find someone to help her maintain her yard as she recoverd. You certainly gave her a great start in that direction since you tackled what no one else would. Much respect and appreiation for your work and this video.
I have watched many of these lawn care videos. But this is the first time I have seen anyone try and save a few nice plants for the home owner. That was very nice to see and cleaning out the pond. That was just that extra. I know they very much appreciated it. That was nice.
Love to see people actually weeding instead of cutting everything down to the ground.Loved this i actually love to garden but can't any longer.Loved this video
Great to see someone weeding by hand and getting the weeds out properly and not just strimming everything down, which looks good straight after but all the weeds are back within a few weeks and then needs doing all over again.Keep up the good work guys 👍😊
Great to see a border tidied up like that, looked beautiful. So many 'gardeners' in my area won't do stuff like that, they want to just cut grass and hedges and go. We love doing it, so nice to see the difference.
That is why I enjoy watching Acres Lawn Care, they say “lawn care” but do so much more in the garden. They also explain what they are doing and more importantly, WHY they are doing it. There are many companies out there (at least here in the US) that just mow lawns. Then there are many more that mow, trim, prune, plant, fertilize, spray weeds, spray bugs, pressure wash sidewalks, patios, and houses, oh and while they are washing they might as well paint, etc. they are fun to watch, but they can’t possibly be good at everything they do. These guys seem to know their job, know their plants, and care about getting it done right. They also seem to enjoy it all!
What a nice gesture from that guy walking down the sidewalk. Save that one in your 'mental file'. You guys do a lot of good things for people too. Good job on the yard guys. I'm quite sure the lady who had surgery is very grateful. SoCal
Another amazing job! Clear out the bad and keep the good. And cheers to the fellow who gave you the bananas and yogurt. Beautiful work, and I know that not only the lady appreciates it, but the whole neighborhood as well.
The work you did in the back was wonderful. For the first time in who knows how long the lady has light coming through windows that were either ivy covered or totally obstructed by shrubs. Way to go!!
@@DavidHarvey-qs8ig I'm doing well, thank you for asking. It's not snowing today. When you live in the snow belt that's a kind of running joke. I'm in a suburb of Buffalo NY and we're known for getting slammed by blizzards. But today is sunny and supposed to get into the mid 70's. I headed out to the farmer's market and bought corn on the cob which I will cut off the cob and freeze so I can make Southern Corn Puddin through the winter. On a day when it's 10 degrees (fahrenheit) and the snow is coming down in buckets that tastes like a bit of summer. In the second video I watched you and your buddy were again at the lady's house sprucing things up for her and you were talking about Christmas. And flowers were blooming!!! It was amazing. I think I like your winters better than here. I think what you and your buddy do to help strangers is amazing. People like you two renew my faith in the innate goodness of mankind. I also think the fella who shared his bananas and yogurt was a sweetheart. Well I have to get along now, I'm into Fall cleaning, getting the house tightened down for the winter. I wish the best to you and your buddy and hope you have a very Merry Christmas 🎄
Gardening is fun for the young, healthy and body-abled...but, not for the old, poor health and incapacitated. You have to be able to maintain it. Just look how much time and energy these two young men put into it.
My late father was a keen gardener in his early twenties and when I was young in the 1950s he would enter flower shows and regularly win cups and trophies for his prize chrysanthemum’s and prizes for his vegetables travelling to shows around England to help people with understanding passions of a few day’s before show to not be allowed to have a bath in oil drums in the bathroom of cut flowers and him spending hours using a cotton buds and baby brush to turn each petals in dressing his flowers heads. I remember of looking out the backyard and growing standard heads in using paper bags blown like a balloon and placing over his prized blooms to protect from earwigs and small insects and mum complained about the time he spent in the garden to having a beautiful front garden with flowerbeds and fancy lawn and backyard garden with vegetables plot of fruits and greenhouse and seasonal food garden fruit and vegetables all year round in one day my mum sold some of his prized blooms from my dad’s reaction was to stop doing the garden to my dad then started going out drinking and gradually started to going out every day to come home from work to have tea and then go to the local pub to be a beautiful garden and then we had a overgrown neglected garden for years to my trying to keep my mom and dad happy but mum stopped caring about my siblings and the house was being destroyed and losing my childhood home to my parents were jealous of each other and tore my family apart from my own experience circumstances change in the lives of many people in growing up in what was a nice place one day and suddenly a slum emerged my dad was a good plumber and created a beautiful kitchen was tiled floors and walls for easy cleaning and having five children at this time of working in all weather conditions and coming home to live in the garden providing for my family was hard work for not a weed was aloud to grow immaculate rows of plants and planting never seen such a tidy garden for my mum you can never satisfy my mum picking fault with everything. I was so young that I blamed my dad for a long period of years of suffering from abuse I was getting from my mum for being the image of my dad. Only years later he confessed that he couldn’t do anything right to trying to please her and in the end he gave up and how he was sorry for the effects on his children but he was not man enough to do anything to help his father didn’t want him to marry my mother and sadly his dad died of my mum stopped him from visiting his mother and resentment of his sisters and brother in finding himself cut off from his family. Drinking alcohol was a escape to blot his pain. Behind this is there is a reason behind some overwhelming gardens in changing circumstances in people’s lives.
You young men are on of my two very favourites to watch. Your eye for perfection is uncanny. You take your time and do an excellent job. When I was a little girl we lived in England and I hung out with the gardener that did the work on the base. Your true English Gardeners, not just blow and go.You know I don't think I have ever caught your name, just Gary. Thanks your time. :)
How nice to stop and offer you both a snack, restores your heart in human nature again. Fantastic work taming this lovely garden, front and back. Really nice job. Happy customer? I would be. Hope you’re having a good weekend.
What an incredible job! I love your attention to detail which is why you are my favourite gardening channel. How kind was the bloke with the food too?! So kind 😄
I always loved plants, and working in the yard - so good to see how you changed that yard!! My ex hated yard work, and left me to mow & maintain 3/4 acre in hot, hot Texas 😮 Do not miss him, 😂!

Looking forward to watching more videos. Best wishes from Pacific Northwest Washington State, U.S.A. 🌿

Greetings and best wishes from Australia.
Beautiful transformation on this property! It looks lovely. The generosity of the gentleman sharing his groceries with you was a wonderful and kind gesture. May he be blessed twofold. ❤
You need a "daisy grubber" forgetting rid of the weeds in the stones. It is a 2 pronged garden tool that lifts the flat weeds out, without making a big mess of the stones. The garden looks great.
Moc hezky jste ty záhony upravili. Je radost se na ně podívat. Kvalitní práce s odborníkem je vždy dobrá. Perfektní, palec jde nahoru a děkuji vám! 👍👍👏👏🌿

I appreciate the fact that he doesn’t take a scorched earth approach…there’s some art to his efforts

I’m glad there was a part two. She must have been great gardener in her younger days! So many beautiful plants & flowers! Awesome job guys!

You guys are one of a kind. May you guys continue to be blessed and your UA-cam channel continue to grow. 🙏🏼🌹🌟😊
Yeah was a lovely gesture! Thank you and thanks for watching 🤗👌
What a sweet thing to do. There are still nice people in the world. I enjoy your videos, your knowledge of plants and attention to detail. Howdy from Texas!
