      I so agree, may she now rest in peace and be reunited with her loved ones! Stories like this are very humbling, none of us truly knows what the future holds and it is so hard to be aware of the loneliness some of us will face. Your post is a reminder that there are people like this in the world, and I thank you for it.

      Umm, sorry, but could you tell me what was admirable? A recluse who eked out a living far from other people? Why is that admirable? Or brave?
      A person who lives their life in sacrificial giving for the benefit of others is admirable.
      Living alone, solely for oneself cannot be considered worthy of admiration.

    This documentary made me feel so taken back to an old older time... With her staying there, where times at once were simpler,all alone, its unbelievable how she coped up there for FIFTY yrs alone... But the view from her bedroom. She wanted to stay,and if not for decay,time almost stands still in a place like that when youre alone,....im so impressed with this womans strength.

    Your videos are treasures. I subscribed. Patimat found joy, peace, realization living in solitude, she found peace despite her precarious living conditions. God didn't abandon her. He, all Mercy sent her animals to help her, be companions to her. Patimat was a brave human being who was loyal to her beloved ancestors' traditions and lived life fully. May God Merciful bless her soul, grant her soul eternal rest. Amen.

    I'm realizing that humans are prone to self destruction and the closer we move together the stronger we destruct, the more advanced we say to be, the more we are destroying the earth, simplicity is not so simple, this woman was an expert in everything, farming, making dishes and plates, making clothes, a mother, a teacher...

    • @MrAlepedroza
      @MrAlepedroza 2 роки тому

      And that's why this woman is the only one remaining in her town? Lol. Stupid analysis that will only get upvotes since most teens watching these kind of vids never read any anthropology or history beyond memes.
      War and genocide are statistically rare, same as societal breakdown or civilizational collapse. On the contrary, the more tribal and isolated we remain, the more likely we are to get wiped out, either by the elements or by our own hand. Its thanks to us getting together that we are able to slowly beat the elements and scarcity. Sure, we may pollute more than before, but that was unavoidable before we developped techbology that mitigated the impact while maintaining the standards. Soon enough, we'll be navigating space and master autonomous production while you paleo-losers struggle to survive one month, lol.

      It's not an idyllic lifestyle. It might appear to be, romanticized as it has been by the video, perhaps. But, I can't see any benefits to going back to this. There are other ways to live a healthy life that would be preferable.

Even at her age, she still lived by herself, yet she cooked and made her own food with her own materials and resources from the things that she learned from her childhood. I think my favorite parts of the video was when she actually had company with the animals that were near her, or when her family visited her. That was surely a happy moment for her. May she Rest In Peace. By the way Ksusha, I sent you a DM through Instagram, so please check it out whenever you have the time. Anyways, I hope you and your family are doing well❤️

    People and communities move around both voluntary and involuntary. Letting go of the past , often means more to invest in the future!

    That reminded me of old movies my grandmother showed us from Spain where their people came from. They used donkeys to haul and the women had clay pots with water that they carried on their heads.. Rocky, arrid place to live.

      They left village because living in towns is much more easier. Tap water, electricity, gas. People left village one by one.

      U r not very observant. The religion she followed was Islam. They showed how a woman was praying/making salaah, on her musallah/carpet while the commentator said "and they are very religious".
