Gawd dayum, didnt realize how hard it was to find a good 350. Last time I checked the market you couldnt even find them listed for over 10k. Entertaining and informative as always. Cant wait for more content. - sent from my iphone
Yeah the market is a MESS. I want to cherry pick a dozen and record a redo with only quality ones to make up for this. -sent from my DROID with Tapatalk
Ya think this is bad try a 240sx iam glad i have a clean one and built clean title! with no decals or stickers on it and no mixed matched different painted parts its a mess!
Don't let this distract you from the fact that the haggard garage friendship squad singlehandedly, maliciously, autistically and artificially drove up the z33/z34 market prices, globally.
got my 2006 350z (base, manual trans, black coupe) with 68k miles all stock & clean title for $8k a few years ago. and i can attest - it took me months of sorting through bullshit and overpriced z’s to find the one i got. absolutely worth the wait, it’s super solid and i LOVE the car. everything i wanted out of a sports car and more.
I got a bone stock, but very slow DE touring manual. The original owner bought it as a midlife crisis car and it had only 55k miles. I paid $9,500 and it has been the most reliable car I've owned. So clean examples exist just SUPER rare.
I owned a DE for about six hours once. Bought it online, sent the deposit, drove five hours with my wife to pick it up, and when I test drove it I immediately discovered the dealer hadn't mentioned the synchros were shot. Couldn't get it into second or third without grinding. Haven't tried to buy another since, but sooner or later I will
@@CollectorCarFeed The odd number synchros tend to go out on the DE's fairly quickly. I only do light sunday driving and autocross on sundays so I never suffered from the alleged oil burn issues too.
Yep, the decent clean low miles ones are being held onto, same with the G35s. Folks see what happened to the '90s JDM legends and are holding onto their clean '00s cars like they're Ferraris or something.
@@stevebuscemi3622 Yeah, using some Redline MT-90 helps, brought an old 2004 G35 trackday car transmission back to life after using it, old 240SX trick really. Best thing to do is just bite the bullet and swap in a CD009 and run MT-90 in it from the get go and be happy, that combo is bulletproof.
the supercharged one has sinced dropped the price to 16k im seriously considering goin to check that thing out and talk him down sounds like he needs something more practical and is having a hard time moving it. I know its not what yall look for but it might be a great deal for a super charged tuned HR lol
Here in Australia we have levels of driver license, so you start on your L plates where you have tk be supervised for 120hrs before taking a test to get your red P plates where you can drive alone and then after a year you go to green p plates before finally getting your full unrestricted license. Anyway the point I'm making is most states here ban cars over a certain power to weight ratio to p platers, so P platers cannot legally drive Zs. Which means fortunately most Zs on the market seem to be unmolested by dumb ass teenage broccoli heads here because they can't legally drive them. Also a lot less "how do I fully disable VDC" followed by "I hydroplaned into a wall at the parking lot" posts a week later on the Australian Z groups that I see on a lot of the US Z groups lol
Good thing I watched this I was just about to post one of my 350z for sale and all I keep seeing is shitty Z’s for more than what I would want for my Clean title 6MT Green Z no check engine lights.
I will agree that roadster's, esp with the top up, look bad, just what a ridiculous rear end they have. That being said I have owned the same Z, a 2007, same color, wheels, trim everything in coupe and roadster, like not test drove but owned each for a period of time, still have the roadster. Having the top down is JUST MORE FUN. It's not as tight of a track car but the growl from the VQ all around you and nothing but sky above you, it is certainly more fun. And it these cars are so naturally HOT you can drive these suckers around top down in the winter if you run the heat and the trans is all warmed up at your toes and you got those heated seats going. Everything really is more fun topless.
Took me 8 months of searching patiently but I found one with about 130k miles for 5.5k with a decent amount of performance mods already and thankfully not much visual
i didnt either but the aftermarket part support is fairly large for such a normal commuter, atleast thats what ive found out after 1 month of ownership.
It doesn't take a lot of damage to total a 20 year old car with a NADA of grand. A good repair guy can bring it back. Do take a crap on every salvage title car.
The diarrhea in this video made me so happy to see my paint faded 05 stock exterior Z with 175k. I'm so glad I used my money to not buy eBay shit like 90% of Facebook Z users.
That intro was fire doode and the explanation on the 350z was a welcome one, I look forward to more videos like this!

My friend bought a base level automatic 350z 130,000 miles for 13k. He’s already thrown ricer wheels on it and it’s safe to say he’s a lost cause.

We will introduce new Z sanctions and destroy the HGEU
As a Z owner i feel attacked... jk love these review videos.👍 also burn all the convertibles...
Glad we're not alone in roadster hate
@@CollectorCarFeed There's honestly no reason to hate unless you're just trying to get reactions, most people dont hate on different types of cars.

They really have never made a good looking Z convertible. The Z32 was I think the ugliest
