While the pygmy elephant might not be a real pygmy, there used to be pygmy mammoths on the Californian Channel Islands! I really enjoyed this video! :)
Your voice is wonderful!! Have you thought about taking some videos with similar content and reworking them for a longer form video? Or maybe a longer video every once in a while? ❤
Thanks thanks thanks, I view/study many nature, so how about this, 16 years ago I saw a film on television of the largest bird in the world, over 9 feet wing span, I have researched and can never find it again, it is not California condor and it is not the other claimed biggest bird, this one I saw only lived in rocky outcroppings islands, perhaps southern hemisphere, the birds were virtually stuck there in that area as winds didn't let them fly out, one of the main clues is this bird did not hunt, it hanged around watching and waiting for a lesser bird to catch a fish and then would haze the lesser bird to drop the fish, it was so incredible footage of this giant bird, barely moving it's wings, inches above the sea and deftly beak the dropped fish, slow motion even,, what is it and where is that film please
Hello, by the way you described the documentary I think I've got just the thing. It is from the first "Planet Earth" BBC series, with David Attenborough. However, I think there is a confusion on the bird's description, but I'm sure it comes from a phrase on the same documentary: "it's the world's lightest bird relative to its wingspan" not the largest (albatross and andean condor have the largests wingspans on sea and land, respectively). Here's part of the original film: ua-cam.com/video/wbf5BoN2AXY/v-deo.htmlsi=QQ3DsledIeMKneNY
