I think Orient is a great brand. They have many bold and original designs, and they never do anything unnecessarily expensive. Their quality is not high end, but it's good, and the value you get for the money is very good indeed. And they have one of the most sophisticated logos of all watch brands.
My beautiful and amazing Princess they don’t compare to brands like Rolex, Patek or Audemars. Those are considered high end. Orient’s movements are not highly decorated, they aren’t COSC certified and they don’t use rare or precious stones or metals in their designs.
@@MybeautifulandamazingPrincess because high end is actually a thing that exists in wand orient doesnt check many of those bixes in order to maintain its pricing.
I've got a Bambino, 2nd generation, with the cream dial, and I love it! Everything you said is pretty much spot-on. The 40mm size is fine by me, but that's just a matter of taste. Even if you are a watch guy and have an amazing collection (my collection probably wouldn't be called "amazing", but I like it!), there are just certain situations when you don't want to wear a multi-thousand dollar watch. For active settings, especially if you might get it wet, a cheap Seiko or G-shock is good; for anything else Bambino is perfect! They're also good high school graduation presents, because they're cheap, but nice enough for any dress type situations a kid is likely to come into, in college, and they're automatic... a nice introduction to better watches, which might spark more interest in horology.
WTF are you doing on UA-cam? You should be working high end GQ articles, men's style, Hollywood technical advisor and artwork....Really Sir, you need to make it big time already and I don't know why you have not been discovered yet. Good talent, good language, outstanding style.
There is a lot more quality in this content because he doesnt have a company with advertisers pushing for biased reviews, being true to yourself and your passions is sometimes worth more than a few dollars. By the way dont skip the ads while were on the topic of money
I went ahead and bought the bambino 4th gen and it is a 42mm. Knowing that it is a dress watch and it is pretty big on my wrist, I plan on using it as a all purpose watch while I'll use another watch for dressier occasions.
I bought the version 3 a year ago and it was my first automatic watch. I have seriously worn it ever day since then and also got a nice colareb strap for it. You are right it has all the charm of an automatic piece! The domed crystal looks beautiful and the finishing is flawless. I have not regretted my decision to buy it once, and I highly recommend it. Btw I have a 6 3/4 inch wrist and it looks perfect size.
Just broke down and bought my first one and I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival from Long island Watch. Version 2, series 3 with the gray dial. i know I'm late to this video but have been enjoying the channel.
I just bought a 2nd gen. Bambino. Brand new with the gold case and minute markers. It's on it's way via U.S. Mail. I went back and forth on which gen.to get. Finally decided on the 2nd. I'm so glad on my choice. Especially after watching your love/hate relationship with the Bambino. I always wanted one of these. Thanks for confirming my taste in the many choices of this line by orient.
Watched this yesterday and low behold, Island watches has them sale today. Just ordered the gen2 with the blue hands and cream dial. Your channel helped me with that decision. thanks
I'm a happy Bambino owner, I put a Speidel Twistoflex on mine to get the 60's vibe, the Twistoflex spring adjusts so the lugs can be anywhere from 18 to 24
I have an Orient Sun and Moon 2 and it's incredible. I also bought a Citizen automatic for $109 from LI Watch and it makes a lot of noise winding. But I actually grown quite fond it that. My Omega is smooth, but there's something charming about the noise it makes. At the end of the day, it's an automatic and there is an distinct element of craftsmanship that is simply not found in an Apple Watch. I love hearing it
Another review that hits my sweet spot. I adore the Bambino, I think you hit the nail when you use the word charm, it really is almost undefinable. I'd love to see an Orient Star review!
Orient Bambino is a great wee watch, I have a v1 in black which I wear on a navy blue nato strap and it looks awesome. Sometimes I put it on a red, green and black NATO to wear it casual (saw it on Worn & Wound and thought it looked great). I returned a faulty SKX and with the money I was able to buy a Bambino AND a Blue Ray and still have about $15 left.
I got the Bambino 2'nd gen from Japan thee weeks ago and it's the JDM model SAC00008W0, I fall in love with it the first-time I saw it, Mine runs 3 seconds slow per day but it's well within the stated accuracy. Thanks for the reviews, Your channel is my favorite.
One thing I love about it is the look, one thing I don’t love about it is that last Christmas I set it down somewhere in the house and haven’t been able to find it since
In the orient range I think my favourite watch astetically is the sun and moon, yes it is double the price of the bambino but it just looks smashing, I would love for you to review that watch and give the pros and cons and see is it worth while going for it in comparison to the bambino leaving price aside
I'm not sure what it is, but something about that grey dial with rough, almost khaki leather strap at 7:57 really jumps out to me. Really very handsome. And of course, an excellent video once again from TGV. Cheers!
I still recommend it immediately to anyone looking for an entry level automatic dress watch. It just ticks so many boxes. But after a year of ownership, I still haven't really connected with my cream dial/blue hands v2. I paid a bit more and got a vintage Longines that gets preference when I need a dress watch.
Honestly, TGV. The noisy winding rotor was noticed 15 seconds after I pulled the bambino out of the box. Still love my gen.2 v.1 with black dial, though.... birthday present from my wife... cheers.
Im a big fan of your channel and a its a great inspiration for my watch collection. Today, I bought my first Omega Seamaster 600m Chrono. So proud and exited. Thanks
Just liked and finally subbed after countless vids I’ve watched. Best watch reviewer on UA-cam. Pure class and honesty. Honorable. One thing.... please post song titles in description. I enjoy the music taste but can’t find the songs.
I like them. But, I bought the Electric Bambino (AKA the Orient Capital) instead. I needed the 8 mm thickness, Day Date Function, and the accuracy. My Seiko SKX007 Dive Watch is my everyday watch. The Capital is the Dress Watch.
How do you know you are watching at an Italian giving a review? Thay say "Bambini" for plural - Joke aside: Excellent video, very honest and informative. I was wondering a lot about the strap, for the price range. I finally got that one answered :)
I *almost* pulled the trigger on a 2nd-gen Version 2 Bambino (cream dial/blue hands) for $125 on sale last month, but even at that price I couldn't do it. I really love the classic look of the V2 as well, but I require sapphire for durability, and an even-numbered lug width. Perhaps Orient will catch a clue and offer a slightly higher-end Bambino with version 5.
So frustrating shopping at Long Island Watch. They run out of so many watches and they never refill their stock. I've been on a waiting list for a few watches for over a YEAR.
Regarding sizing... what you say makes sense, but in regards to current market trends of larger, is probably forward looking to the far size of this cyclopean watch era.
My Bambinos are quite accurate. Typical somewhat better than Seikos' 4r35 movement. I've not needed to regulate a Bambino, but I have had to with Seiko.
just bought my first watch and it is a bambino v4 (the model shown in the video) and i love it. however there was a smudge on the dial and he is totally correct about the meh straps. it looks great on your wrist but i agree it should be a little smaller and i even have big wrists
Thank you Nick, sorry to hear about the smudge, very easy to fix. Greatly appreciate the feedback, can't wait to review a gen 4 myself. best regards, TGV
I love Orient, got two Bambinos 2nd gen. among others. Also in my collection I have my very first watch given to me by my dad in the late 60s, and it works perfect, automatic with AAA in the front (dont know what it means) 27 jewels, and look s very much like the bambinos, with a little bit more 60s looking
The ORIENT BAMBINO FER2400BWO would've been my dream watch if it was 36mm or smaller. Too bad the classic look was put on a big modern case. Watch brands love not creating the perfect watch.
Have to disagree with the 40mm issue. With a 7.35” wrist, it’s hard to find a dress watch that doesn’t look like a play thing on my wrist, which isn’t very big…
Hi TGV, I have been following your channel recently and i want to add that its simply amazing. Its great to see a person so passionate about watches and pursue it so religiously and also help people do the same. recently i have decided to buy a new watch but cannit decide which one to buy. My choices are Meistersinger or Junghans or Rado. ( i am looking for a dress watch, automatic with day date complexity). I will really appreciate your help.
I have a Bambino 4 and I agree with your comment on the stiff leather band. Apart from that I love it, people have asked me if it is a high end luxury watch. I recently bought a vintage Zenith , 18 crt gold case/face, black batten markers, black leather band. it is magnificent except for the grinding feeling of the winding mechanism. Did watches of the 60's - 70's have silky smooth winding mechanisms or is this somewhat coarse feeling normal?
I really consider this watch, but after I discovered the Orient Star Classic I just fell in love with it. Will you be able to make a review on it? I find it hard to choose between those two even though they go for very different prices.
Where can you get the V3 in gray? The V4 is now 42mm, which I think is too big. There seem to be plenty of V2's around, but everything else seems to be scarce. Thanks for the help!
People comment that the Bambino is not the most accurate, however they do not go into detail as to how far off they are. I am considering getting one, so any comments on accuracy would help me. Thank you in advance for any information on this!
I think Orient specs state - 15/+25 seconds per day. I've had mine for one month now, and mine is much more accurate than that. I set mine according to atomic time 24 hours ago, and it's is just 1 second fast now. That is NOT typical for this watch. Depending on how much you wear it versus how much it sits in your watch box, you can probably expect around +/- 10 seconds per day, in my experience.
Another great review video! I am seriously considering pulling the trigger on this one! (The cream coloured dial, blued dauphine hands, roman numerals). I think that is such a classic/vintage look. And with a new leather strap, it will look bang on! By the way (not pushing a particular seller here, but....) Strapsco.com has a really good selection of the rather rare 21mm straps for the Bambino in case you are pulling your hair out looking for one! I find the Dassari leather straps are of quite nice quality for a fair price. Cheers, Mate!
Hi! Great video as always! A few ideas, very spontaneous, for upcoming videos: Rolex Sub vs Seiko SKX, the Certina brand in general and review a few models - to me at least they are "Swiss Seiko", gold watches - when to wear them, rose gold vs yellow gold vs white gold from a technical and design perspective :)
Nothing makes me sadder than a 40mm dress watch with a 22m strap! I would buy one in a heartbeat with a 38mm case and 20mm strap. Bugs me soooooo much too!
I noticed that Long Island Watch Company stocks Shturmanskie watches, which is unusual. I've been a fan of old Russian mechanicals for a while, as their price point is incredible. Have you reviewed any Russian pieces?
The Urban Gentry Unfortunately I've sold it because of it's size. My wrists are very small and I've used the funds to buy myself an Alpinist. If it were 36-38mm I'd probably kept it.
thanks for the passion and review for sharing these kind of videos. Can I ask you if I only have budget below $300, should this be my first watch? please guide me sir. 🙏🙏
The orient bambino is a great watch for the money. If you have a tight budget you should definitely consider it because not only is it classy it is relatively cheap but still respected.
Thanks for another excellent video, Tristano. I have a generation four bambino with a gray dial in the rose gold markers. I love this watch! I find it based on your recommendation and those of others. I have a few more expensive ones, that are better watches and definitely better looking. But they also cost at least 4 Times what the bambino cost me. I have it on a finwatchstraps.com strap, which I much prefer to the Coloreb. The caramel color really brings out the rose gold markers and makes the watch pop. Not only does it look more expensive, but mine is +5 sec/day, which is within COSC standards. I doubt that anyone else makes a watch this good at this price!
There is a Cream face Orient Bambino for sale used in my area. I really like the watch and was going to order one off amazon but the price shot up like crazy lately (maybe it was mark ups based on my cookies? Not too sure) If I were to buy this watch, what should I look out for?
Mr urban gentry tell me what you think about the Casio duro Mdv 200 meter dive watch it's pretty cheap as what I can afford, but everyone has been commenting on it please can you give me a feedback on it am from Grenada I do enjoy watching your videos.
Hi Kelly, Urban Gentry is the name of the channel btw, I presume you are asking me right? I actually rate that watch highly and talked about it in a video about best watches under $100 I think. I love the Duro, I say enjoy it!!! Thank you for watching, Best regards, TGV
New to watches and purchased v4 bambino a couple months ago for my first watch after watching your videos and love it! only problem I really see is after a week or so it starts running behind a couple minutes. Love you videos, they are very insightful! Thinking about junkers bauhaus #6050-5 for my second watch thoughts? Keep it up
According to the current trend in watches dimensions, I could wear a pineapple on my wrist and stick a hourglass on top of it, and that would still be considered classy! :D
I wonder why whatch makers don't just release their dress watches in multiple sizes for each model, e.g. 34mm and 40mm, so that they can suite all wrist sizes. Is it that difficult or impratical?
You can't allways get what you want. I want a larger size but they don't make those either. But they do make the similar "Syphony" model. I am sure they make a smaller similar model as well.
I've had a Bambino 4 for the past 6 months and absolutely adore it. I find myself looking at it several times a day just to admire it. Yes, it is too big. It needs to go down to 38mm. Yes it is clunky sounding, I thought I broke it the first time I heard the banging around inside the case. Yes, I immediately replaced the original band with a croc strap. The crystal also scratches rather easily, so be careful. But gosh, I have a pretty good eye and mine is simply flawless in detailing and it feels substantial on the wrist. If I had paid $1000 for it, I don't think I would have been disappointed in the least. I like it so much, I am thinking about getting another to keep the first company. Great watch and great review.
That being said, if you were going for a $1000 watch, this probably wouldn’t be your first choice. Maybe not your last, either, but definitely not your first.
keep it up, your vids are awesome, appreciate the time and passion you put into them, and its fantastic to have someone that's for the "everyman" or rather the more attainable pieces of horology for your average human. Have learnt allot and come to love this hobby with a great passion. The world needs more gentleman. Cheers TGV.
Hi TGV, The Bambino is still my first recommendation for an affordable and dressier automatic watch. As you said, a 38 mm with 20 mm lugs would be a great move to make it an immortal icon of entry level mechanical watches. Best regards, Claus
Apparently there's only two generations, but 4 versions. Gen 1 have "water resist" on the face and don't have hacking and winding, gen 2 have "water resistant" on the face and have hacking and winding.
Good insight TGV. I am considering Tissot, Orient and Hamilton for dress watch. With such good prices there is no excuse to buy a fashion watch. Armani watches have made me embarrassed to wear their suits. Despicable for an Italian house to behave that way. For shame.
All are great, although I think that Orient Star is better competition for Tissot and Hamilton. I think that Tissot has more dress watches than Hamilton or Orient Star, but I'm not completely sure.
I am not too experienced with orient Star, what I worry about with Orient (excluding their divers, from what I've seen their divers are more consistent in quality) is the inconsistent nature of quality. You can receive a fantastic piece, or another piece (which may hail from a different factory) that has an incredibly noisy rotor, uneven machining of the lugs, or crooked dial (new from factory). This turned me off to Orient Bambinos at least. The Star may have better quality control, and yes there are some perfect bambinos too
I've heard that Orient Stars are more consistent in quality than some JDM Seikos. However, I have never handled one myself, so I would suggest that you look into what owners have said about their quality. I would be surprised if those problems were still present in Orient Star watches, given how much more they cost.
In fourth generation are solved your 1st and 2nd points for "hate" it. When you are more than 40 ages old you prefer bigger watches... to see better the time ;) You are young to know yet :) For me, the mechanical sound it's not an issue. As you could see I love my new Bambino :):):)
I have a V4 also and Luis you are correct about the size, I have several 44mm watches so the V4's almost 42mm doesn't bother me, however on the V4 (I am 60 btw) they slimmed down the hands.
The fact that it's 40mm is just a killer. 36-38mm is perfect for a watch of this type. Why on earth go bigger than that? With a dial that goes all the way to the edge, it makes it look larger. Such a shame, because everything else aesthetics-wise is on point.
Orient make a full lineup of 38mm automatic dress watches called the tri star or 3 star available for $80 or less. The bands are crap so you will need to put another $20 into a decent aftermarket band.
I just ordered one last night online, 2 generation Roman numerals, with the classic yellowish white with the blue hands. I’m very excited to get it . And to add since I’ve been watching your videos I seldom comment but now I’m on my 4th watch in a year ( all I wore was a G-Shock ) thanks for the reviews and keep up the good work you do. Cheers !!
I own a Bambino v2 and reviewed it on my channel. I found mine simply charming and use it regularly. I even get comments on how it looks. Also, timekeeping is very accurate. Superb watch
Slightly rattly rotor on the V4. But 22mm lug width. The blue version dial that I have pops in daylight. I bought a new leather strap with blue stitching and the shop put the original signed buckle. The domed chrystal and the slim case. Mine runs +10 seconds a day, I am never late. I hack it each morning. Pull out the crown and wait for the radio time signal from the BBC. pip pip PIP... job done.
Good question, I would have to go Seiko, you can repair it unlike the hermetically sealed 51. Also more to choose from from Seiko, MUCH more! How about you? Thank you, Best regards, TGV
The Urban Gentry I also thought that it is sealed too, but when I went to the Swatch shop to check it out, the people there said that only the plastic Sistem51 is sealed, whereas you can service the metallic version
I think Orient is a great brand. They have many bold and original designs, and they never do anything unnecessarily expensive. Their quality is not high end, but it's good, and the value you get for the money is very good indeed. And they have one of the most sophisticated logos of all watch brands.
esa062 Clarify plz, ur reasoning
How is Orient not high end...?
My beautiful and amazing Princess they don’t compare to brands like Rolex, Patek or Audemars. Those are considered high end. Orient’s movements are not highly decorated, they aren’t COSC certified and they don’t use rare or precious stones or metals in their designs.

I wonder why the roman figure for 4 is written as "IIII" on the dial. As far as I know it should be "IV".
Thank you, some cool ideas. I am very behind in my shooting schedule but I will certainly consider them.
Nice one Christoffer :D
Best regards,
TGV
The name Orient just sounds super fancy
I, only hours ago, purchased that exact model of bambino from long island watch for 150. The waiting will be the painful part haha
Hi TGV, any suggestions on Watch storage on a budget. Many thanks.
Nothing makes me sadder than a 40mm dress watch with a 22m strap! I would buy one in a heartbeat with a 38mm case and 20mm strap. Bugs me soooooo much too!
I've never an Orient of any sort - may have to reconsider that. Thanks for the video.
Ciao, John
Always a pleasure my friend, I think you would love it.
Thank you John,
Best regards,
TGV
I noticed that Long Island Watch Company stocks Shturmanskie watches, which is unusual. I've been a fan of old Russian mechanicals for a while, as their price point is incredible. Have you reviewed any Russian pieces?
I share watches with my wife frequently, so 36-38mm case w/ 20mm strap would be perfect for this watch.
Agree 40 mm watches are to big.
Think I have big wrists, but I like smaler.
how about a Mido commander II COSC? I don't know if it has been suggested before but I'll love to see TGV reviewing it
Love that watch!
I certainly would not say no to reviewing it.
Great choice, thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
Great video as always TGV. :) My bambino v3 performed at amazing +3sec/day so I guess it all depends on luck.
WOW, that is outstanding, enjoy it and I hope it continues to serve you well.
Thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
Is dress watch supposed to have 38mm or less diameter? Because as I can remember, grand seiko diameter is more than 40mm
There is a Cream face Orient Bambino for sale used in my area. I really like the watch and was going to order one off amazon but the price shot up like crazy lately (maybe it was mark ups based on my cookies? Not too sure) If I were to buy this watch, what should I look out for?
My 7750 has a nice wobble although you can only feel it and not hear it
I know that feeling well, I like it too.
Thank you Dave,
Best regards,
TGV
Hey TGV does the V2 without the roman numeral face also have a hackable and hand winding movement?
Yes.
Thank you :D
Best regards,
TGV
At 8:59 on the video where can I buy that suede looking leather strap? Please help... and what the average price?
man I like your videos
Mr urban gentry tell me what you think about the Casio duro Mdv 200 meter dive watch it's pretty cheap as what I can afford, but everyone has been commenting on it please can you give me a feedback on it am from Grenada I do enjoy watching your videos.
Hi Kelly, Urban Gentry is the name of the channel btw, I presume you are asking me right?
I actually rate that watch highly and talked about it in a video about best watches under $100 I think.
I love the Duro, I say enjoy it!!!
Thank you for watching,
Best regards,
TGV
OK thanks
New to watches and purchased v4 bambino a couple months ago for my first watch after watching your videos and love it! only problem I really see is after a week or so it starts running behind a couple minutes.
Love you videos, they are very insightful! Thinking about junkers bauhaus #6050-5 for my second watch thoughts? Keep it up
Timex Marlin Vs Orient Bambino?
The Bambino is nice but l got a Mako because it's more blue collar.
Palazzo de la Civiltà Italiana. Not only you have a good taste regarding watches...
As a woman, the Bambino is just too big! I can only buy the 36mm one...women love watches as well!
According to the current trend in watches dimensions, I could wear a pineapple on my wrist and stick a hourglass on top of it, and that would still be considered classy! :D
LOL, thank you Luca, well lets see if we can change that ;-)
Best regards,
TGV
I wonder why whatch makers don't just release their dress watches in multiple sizes for each model, e.g. 34mm and 40mm, so that they can suite all wrist sizes. Is it that difficult or impratical?
lol luca, good post
They would have to create an entirely new production line for it.
Luca Simoncini Problem is I have a 7.25-7.5 inch wrist so guys like me can't pull of a 40mm dress watch :/ I opt for 42-43mm max for all watches.
Dear Orient , please make a 36mm version with 18mm strap width.
37mm
and 20mm strap. :-)
36mm would be amazing- with an open heart design!
37 mm with 18mm strap and... a sapphire crystal, domed or not. A domed mineral means scratchs guaranteed, too exposed.
Regarding the sound of self-wind mechanism, I personally love it! :)
AlexK I find it charming actually; very "old school"...
WHAT SOUND?
I HAVE A BAMBINO ON MY WRIST RIGHT NOW, CANT LISTEN ANY SOUND.
Dramatic Anticipation mine is completely silent. I feel deprived!
Me to, it sounds obviously mechanical
@@lkkjhtemmexv1838 These are the same people who complain about how "loud" computer fans are.
keep it up, your vids are awesome, appreciate the time and passion you put into them, and its fantastic to have someone that's for the "everyman" or rather the more attainable pieces of horology for your average human. Have learnt allot and come to love this hobby with a great passion.
The world needs more gentleman. Cheers TGV.
Thank you so much Shae, very kind of you to say :D
Best regards,
TGV
Hi TGV,
The Bambino is still my first recommendation for an affordable and dressier automatic watch. As you said, a 38 mm with 20 mm lugs would be a great move to make it an immortal icon of entry level mechanical watches.
Best regards,
Claus
Apparently there's only two generations, but 4 versions. Gen 1 have "water resist" on the face and don't have hacking and winding, gen 2 have "water resistant" on the face and have hacking and winding.
Good insight TGV. I am considering Tissot, Orient and Hamilton for dress watch. With such good prices there is no excuse to buy a fashion watch. Armani watches have made me embarrassed to wear their suits. Despicable for an Italian house to behave that way. For shame.
the Bambino is fun, but I'd go with a dressy Hamilton/Tissot over the Orient for a dress watch
Neuro Gibson Thanks for the tip Sir. I'm leaning toward Tissot as my father owns one so I like the continuity.
I really wish I would've gotten a bambino when they were still around $130 🙁🙁🙁
Poutasio Sonor ahhh I see last time I check they were all above 150
As of 4/9/17: Mass Drop is offering the Bambino 2 second generation for $119.00 (6 days left)
Thats exactly what I tought
They're around 125 on amazon right now.
I ordered a v3 for 120 on Amazon
In fourth generation are solved your 1st and 2nd points for "hate" it.
When you are more than 40 ages old you prefer bigger watches... to see better the time ;) You are young to know yet :)
For me, the mechanical sound it's not an issue.
As you could see I love my new Bambino :):):)
I have a V4 also and Luis you are correct about the size, I have several 44mm watches so the V4's almost 42mm doesn't bother me, however on the V4 (I am 60 btw) they slimmed down the hands.
I agree the size is too big for its purpose at least for my wrist size as well.
The fact that it's 40mm is just a killer. 36-38mm is perfect for a watch of this type. Why on earth go bigger than that? With a dial that goes all the way to the edge, it makes it look larger. Such a shame, because everything else aesthetics-wise is on point.
Sorry, some of us don't have broomsticks for wrists.
I immediately fell in love with this model. But after I heard it had an upgraded movement to hacking and Hand winding, I came.
Somebody needs to get to orient and put the bug in their ear to make a mid sized bambino
Orient make a full lineup of 38mm automatic dress watches called the tri star or 3 star available for $80 or less. The bands are crap so you will need to put another $20 into a decent aftermarket band.
If it has 38-39mm diameter, i will not think twice to purchase this classic look timepiece
Cheers !!
Jspecwerks hey how do you like it ?
DriftCrazy 14 love it , the quality it exquisite I’m going to buy another one and give it to my wife. Worth every penny
Calm down with the shopping spree man! Enjoy your watches!
So after 2 years... how is it holding up?
Abraham Nunez my ex wife took it ( she liked it more than me )
I own a Bambino v2 and reviewed it on my channel. I found mine simply charming and use it regularly. I even get comments on how it looks. Also, timekeeping is very accurate. Superb watch
I love the watch in your profile picture. What is it called if you don't mind me asking?
Slightly rattly rotor on the V4. But 22mm lug width. The blue version dial that I have pops in daylight.
I bought a new leather strap with blue stitching and the shop put the original signed buckle.
The domed chrystal and the slim case. Mine runs +10 seconds a day, I am never late. I hack it each morning. Pull out the crown and wait for the radio time signal from the BBC. pip pip PIP... job done.
Please Mr. TGV, tell me
Seiko 5 or Sistem 51.
Loved the video!
Good question, I would have to go Seiko, you can repair it unlike the hermetically sealed 51.
Also more to choose from from Seiko, MUCH more! How about you?
Thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
The Urban Gentry I also thought that it is sealed too, but when I went to the Swatch shop to check it out, the people there said that only the plastic Sistem51 is sealed, whereas you can service the metallic version
Divyansh Mishra Swatch System 51 the iron are the one's you should go for.
Divyansh Mishra seiko 5 if you want a watch that lasts: system 51 cannot be repaired
Seiko 5 ofc, s51 is plastic piece of @$!% with rubbish unrepairable mvt and it's plastic- come on!
That four-bar number "4" looks awful. What happened to the actual Roman numeral "IV"?
I just dont like the 41mm and the crystal. If its 38mm it will be flying out of the shelf
