It brought it home to me a couple of weeks ago when I picked up my 8-year old grandson from school. During our usual conversation on the way home, he mentioned how Winston Churchill was a racist. I asked him where he had been informed of this. He told me it was in one of the school books they read in class. I told his Dad about this. He wasn't at all concerned. Thing is, in the boy's class, there are about half a dozen black kids who would also have read the same thing. Talk about sowing the seeds for future grifters.........

I have 4 young grandson's who are all reading the Flashman Diaries at the moment and I am relishing in how much they are enjoying them. Never rely on the state when it comes to your children.

This paragraph below is from an article in the Guardian about how Britons brown babies were hidden away, this was the result of White British women getting together with Black American soldiers who had been stationed in Britain during World war 2.
In this article even the woke far left Guardian Journalists here are saying that there were just a few thousand black people in the whole of Britain in the 1940s this is out of a British population of nearly 50 million people at this time of which 99.9% of them would have been indigenous White British.
If it was the case that black people had been in Britain since the Roman times surely two thousand years later in the 1940s there would have been many more of them than just a few thousand, millions of them more likely.
Edwards was one of what US newspapers would call “brown babies”. nearly 2,000 of these children were born during the war, at a time when there were just 7 to 8,000 Black people in the entire UK. So these “brown babies” increased the population of Black Britons by about 25 per cent. Over half are believed to have been given up for adoption.

I frequent some online forums and one in particular has developed a phenomenon of ending every single discussion or argument with ‘you’re a racist’.
Since I neither agree with or accept the term racist, despite regular requests for a non dictionary definition, eg one to which the user of the term, I’ve yet to be given an explanation.
I drive and walk around London’s roads and paths, I witness vile behaviour, littering, am the victim of multiple crimes against myself and others. And, all but two of these crimes/incidents were carried out by foreigners. Since many of these immigrants are as white as you or I Simon, I am yet to be offered any explanation as to why I shouldn’t say this, other than them using the word xenophobe.

This seemed an appropriate place to put this. Here in the States, like Britain, advertisements have look favored interracial couples; it always being the woman that is white. For the last week I have noticed a huge increase in ads featuring interracial homosexual couples. Since this is a very small demographic, I wonder what segment of the market they are attempting to reach.

The book “Barracoon: The Story of the Last Black Cargo” by Black American author Zora Neale Hurston, recounts the experiences of Cudjoe Lewis, one of the last Africans brought to America via the transatlantic slave trade. Lewis tells of his capture and the killing of his family and friends by a neighboring tribe before being sold to White American slavers.
“Hurston could not find a publisher for her manuscript during her lifetime, partly because she preserved Cudjoe Lewis's vernacular English in quoting him from their interviews and partly because she described the involvement of other African people in the business aspects of Atlantic slave trade.” (quoted portion from Wikipedia)
The manuscript was kept at Howard University, an historically Black college, for nearly 90 years before it was finally published in 2018.
The book is a fascinating read and it illuminates a reality of the transatlantic slave trade that some would prefer stay unexamined.
When you base your history on a book that has talking snakes and is filled with migration and murder what do you expect?
Hopefully that book is in the "Fiction section" of the Library.

There is no restriction in classical music, selection is based on meritocracy. The late opera singer Jessye Norman is a fine example. She started her career in 1968 with her role as Elisabeth in Wagner's Tannhäuser and went on to become one of the leading opera singers. There is a video on You Tube of an old film from the turn of the 20th Century of workers leaving a factory in the North of England after a work shift. One of the young men is most definitely of African heritage. They are all dirty from a hard days work but this chap is an african. It has come up on my feed a couple of times but I never thought to save it. No one claims that there were no such people around even hundreds of years ago but statistically the numbers were not significant. To claim otherwise is misleading.

We got so-called religious education, talking about the real heros. Martin Luther King, Ghandi (didn't mention him sleeping with naked women to test his self-control), Nelson Mandela, the 5 pillars of Islam, other beliefs - Hinduism, Buddhism etc. It was a good, all round education in ethics, even if Mother Theresa isn't quite the angel she has been made out to be. Jeez, we weren't doing a comparative religion doctorate, it was enough for our under-developed brains to cope with and in my opinion, well put together. Of course, over the years, nuance has crept in.
My daughter is dressed in red today in honor of the 'show rasicm the red card' at her primary school. Of course I dressed her in red. Apparently there's a special 'assembly' to commemorate this special day. Heavens knows what my little one is being indoctrinated in 😢

I have attended over 300 classical concerts in my life I am working class and not privileged in anyway but I have never seen a black in any of the audiences, blacks do not like or understand serious music !

My number 1 rule is never to justify myself to other races ever. That ends the grift and the bs goes over my head.
It seems that in the UK it is more important to be of a certain race than to be UK. If you want a status equivalent to that, you have to show recognition of a particular race as a privileged one.
