    I’ve always had this sort of pain before, but once I started running with a weighted vest it got like 6x worst. Now it’s just horrible, I have to stretch before and after, put ice on my legs, and rest 1 day in between exercises (plus no more weighted vest). When the pain started, I had to rest with ice packs for two weeks. It SUCKS, it’s like I’m starting from scratch but with bone pain instead of muscle pain.

      Do you still have shin bone pain?

    • @quiquitohernandez7977
      @quiquitohernandez7977 3 роки тому +8

      @@sofoklis1031 Well... I don’t run anymore, so no, however, my condition escalated to a ligament tear on my left knee do to plain overuse.
      You need to listen to your body, every time you start doing something new or something that your body is not necessarily used to, you have to take it easy, remember, your body is designed to adapt to certain scenarios, however, big leaps of change such as a weighted vest or just running extra milage will cause damage since your body hasn’t had the amount of time needed to strengthen itself and adapt to those new stresses you’re applying to it.
      In my case, I joined AFROTC and had to start training for the run, which I had never done or practice since I would just do HIIT and weight training. So naturally, I went in with the usual weight training of “no pain, no gain” mentality, which was just idiotic... as even in weight training you increase the weight gradually.
      Long story short, all this running and additional long distance training, of which my body hadn’t even had one year to adapt to, ended up in a ligament tear on my left knee. Since, I would always run in my local track, and by being right handed, my right leg would push a bit harder as I would keep doing the same loop in the same direction, so it was as if I was jumping on one leg, while having the other one absorb that additional force (like hammer hitting something repetitively until it breaks). So yeah, I did a lot of mistakes, after my injury I started listening to other athletes, and finally understood why they would also change their running patterns/paths and try to keep everything symmetrical/even.

    Experience daily discomfort and pain from tibia muscles. I practice 5hours golf 6 days a week....I walk a lot. Only left leg....outside muscle....not like shins.....that seems inside. Why left leg only suffer is because golfswing is all about weight shift....from right leg to left. So left leg endure 50% more tension and stress.
