The segment about no cat NEEDING to suffer from these human-chosen conditions was really important and well-done. Best of wishes to y'all and the Chouster ❤
Love the way that the persian cat stuff was addressed. We as humans need to stop breeding animals purely for aesthetics, but the medically challenged animals that we do have right now deserve to be loved and cared for by people who understand their needs. Not just those who want a "cute" animal. Love that Chouchou has his forever home with yall! 🎉
I think Chouchou is cute, but on the whole I've never liked the "squashed face" look and I'm not sure why the hell people breed for that, especially when it causes so much distress for the animals involved. I've never understood it. But yes, thank you, the animals that are already here deserve happy loving homes ❤️
So sad they’re doing this to cats as well. Humans have messed up so many dogs already. Now the squished faces and the short legs are becoming “fashion” for cats too… it’s just upsetting.
Yes and people keep on doing it. Now there are cats with short legs squashed noses and crumpled ears! It nauseates me that people swoon over them and call themselves cat lovers!
I had already assumed you foster failed Chouchou, but when Andrew announced he was adopting him, I cried (with happiness) anyway. You have given Chou such a gift. I am so happy for him and for your family 🤍🥰
Chouchou wouldn't have been an easy cat to adopt out even just for his medical issues and long term health maitenance so it's good that he's with Andrew and Hannah have got him as a permanent member of the family
I was about to get MAD. He’s already bonded with you. Glad to hear you are keeping him at this point as you have had him for a long time and he loves you so much

Just two weeks ago I showed my husband a video of Chouchou and predicted that he will most likely be a foster fail 😻 So happy you guys are keeping him ❤
I'm also a foster fail. I have now 10 cats and I love them all their love they share with me and I share with them 💕. Love you all bunches you're videos and books have taught me so much 💗
It's so hard to let babies go after I raised them from 3 days old I can't help but to fall in love with them, so on July 22nd I received a litter of 5 kittens, on September 13th they went to an adoption center on the 14th of September they got neutered yep they were all boys, so on the 16th I visited them and they all remembered me but one of the boys was not letting me go he wasn't right I knew it and this broke my heart. So on the 17th I adoption him , at the time he got neutered he weighted 2.20 pounds that was on the 14th of September, on the 17th I weighted him and he lost so much weight he was down to 1.12 pounds. I was really pissed, hurt, angry cuz I gave the agency food and plates to feed them I told them to use 2 plates so they could all eat cuz some of the boys would push the other ones out. Well today I had my little boy vet checked he is gaining his weight back he is back up to 2 pounds. They said to just keep an eye on him. Make sure he is acting like a kitten which he is and eating good. I figured out he is only around 9 weeks old but at the time he got neutered they said 10 weeks 6 days humm clearly I told the agency the day I received the kittens and at that time they were only 3 to 4 days old. The good thing that has happened is that all the kittens got adopted through pet smart, but your right when you know there are medical issues with a kitten you can't help not to fall in love with that baby. So I will be taking little man in next month back to the vet and hopefully everything will be better and his weight will be good cuz as it stands now he is under weight.
ChouChou won the jackpot. Going form being abandoned with a severe, life threatening defect to becoming a permanent resident and volunteer of the Orphan Kitten Club family. I am so happy Andrew decided to say something.
I don’t think Chouchou is a foster fail, I think Andrew was just the best adopter for him. So happy that he gets to live his best life with all of you!
The term "foster fail" simply means any foster animal that ends up staying with their foster caregiver That's just the recognized term for it. It doesn't actually imply an actual "failure" on anyone's part.
Man I'm so relieved! Just the thought of him leaving your care made me feel kinda nauseous, I can't imagine how it must have affected Andrew and you. He's always been Home.
Thank you for spreading awareness for brachycephalic breeds!! Our Himalayan passed after a life long battle with health issues and all anyone would focus on was how cute he was, not the reality of his regular care. Happy adoption Chou!!!

I'm so glad you kept our beloved, magnificent wonder poof! He was meant to be with you guys! Also, Hannah, you really landed yourself a good one with Andrew.❤
Yes, I myself was thinking about what a handsome couple they make and the gifts they bring to the table compliment each other and the animal world, specifically cats and kittens, so well!
Truthfully, because you fostered him so long, I thought that you just integrated him into your family without any fanfare. When you announced that Andrew adopted Chou, I was happy but not surprised. Have a great life Chou Chou, you’re with the best family. 😻😻😻
Chou is truly a perfect addition to the silly boy squad y'all have going 😂 He had to make sure you all got the proper quantity of white fur everywhere, Boss Lady Eloise left very precise notes 🤍🤍🤍
It's always so funny when a cat activates their hunting instincts xD. As a rescuer myself, the hardest thing is not taking care of the cat, is coming to terms that they have to go one day. Finding an appropriate adopter is also quite difficult, because if one of them turns bad, you feel responsible for choosing the wrong person. I'm really happy you decided to keep that adorable snowball. A bond with a cat is truly special. I have lived with a Turkish Angora cat for 9 years now and he truly is my best friend.
Yes!!! This video announcement kinda broke my heart and I’m legitimately relieved that Chouchou is staying home with his parents. I don’t think of Chouchou as a foster fail because he’s been part of your family for so long, and starting at such a young age. Removing him at this point feels cruel. Thanks to Kitten Lady, I now know how awful breading flat faced cats and dogs is for their quality of life.
Chou is definitely in the best place possible for him and his medical needs. I have always deeply respected how hard you guys stick to "adoption is the goal" that I know whenever a fail does happen, it's for the best for everyone. That and he's just SO good with all the babies, it's like he was born to be a foster parent along with you guys.
Congratulations on being an adoptive father, Andrew! I always thought your first fur child for life would be a calico, but you and Chouchou are nonetheless a great pair. And Hannah's a perfect forever mom for Chouch, too! I'm so glad that Chouchou will never be an adoption fail! He deserves a forever home as much as any cat does.
So happy that Chouchou overcame such a difficult start in his life and that he's bringing joy to his hoomans, the resident cats and the fosters from all species 💜🐾
I know the goal is goodbye when it comes to fostering, but if Chuchu fits, so seamlessly into your lives every day I think that warrants a exception congrats!! ❤❤
This is how it went with my Joanna too. I rescued her from an abusive home, and we bonded quickly. Plan was to take her to a shelter because I live with my parents, and they didn't want a cat. When I went to the shelter to try to get them to take her, it hurt my heart. Turns out they were full, and then turns out the parents fell in love with her too. So she stayed with us and now owns us.

I'm so happy the little cloud has adopted Andrew! I had been thinking how Fergie would cope without his pal. So pleased that he has the best home to look after all his needs.
I'm so glad Chouchou gets to have a wonderful home with you both. I know the fluffball will never replace Eloise, but in my opinion, any new cat you welcome into your home whether foster or permanent, truly they help you heal after such a loss. It just helps so much. ❤
He’s been with you for so long of course you’d get attached. I’m so glad for you and your future fosters. Chouie is great with the kitties and will help them feel safe and loved. Happy adoption day Chou Chou!🎉
There is a saying in Finland: a loved child has many names (rakkaalla lapsella on monta nimeä). When you gave us all Chouchous nicknames, it made me think of that. He is clearly loved by both of you. Congratulations to your whole family.
I've always adopted my cats from the Humane Society, and they've always been tabbies. The adoption papers are thorough (and ask TONS of questions) at my local Humane Society... they really want their animals to be homed for keeps. So glad to hear Chouchou is already home, with you guys!! I'm sure he'll be sooo very happy! 🥰
I'm so glad he is staying with you. All the hardship he endured (all your worries and care) and all the troubles due to the breeders continuing along the flat nose is desirable nonsense! He has shown he can help with fosters too. One amazing little fellow and lovely to see Andrew and Chou being besties!
PHEW! You had me going for a minute. He's in the most perfect place possible. So is Chouchou! His story is really about the miracle of love plus -- Chouchou is completely adorable! Yay! xx
Chouchou is a very lucky cat. If you haven't fostered him, he probably wouldn't have lived very long. He sure has won the kitten life lottery. And now he can live a long and happy life with Kitten Lord and Kitten Lady...! 💖🐾
I’m so happy to hear that he’s staying with you. I’ve been following his progress and was concerned for his future. I’m sure as a foster you feel this way about all the kittens that you foster. However I do know that you absolutely love each one and make the very best choice for a forever family- you sure did by choosing Andrew as cat daddy! God Bless
Chouchou went through so much with you by his side that it just makes sense that he's a foster fail. The warning you gave is really important because the reason why chouchou went through so much is the improper breeding of these fluffy beings. I'm really glad chouchou was lucky to find you, not all of them are this lucky 🥺
Oh, sweet Eloise! How cosmic that this little white floofball Chouchou came along before she left you, and ended up being a (husband’s) foster fail! They truly choose us. 🤍 Thanks as always for the PSA about adopting, not shopping!
How could it NOT be Andrew Marvellous news and I bet Chouchou is super happy to be staying at home with you guys and you know all his history and are best able to make sure he thrives going forward. Enjoy 🎉🎉
What a relief. In the beginning, I was thinking, how can they be so happy and excited? I'd be bawling an ocean. Glad that baby is staying where he belongs.
Im so glad you discussed the health of flat faced cats. while i myself didnt have a persian i DID own a Himalayan. My childhood cat had many health issues like breathing, crust,as well as some other issues which he needed medication daily for (i do not remember what they were though i was super young and mainly focused on cuddling him and playing w him as a kid) ChouChou is such a sweet cat. And his needs will perfectly fitted with you guys,i’m incredibly happy to see him have a such a strong bond with andrew as well! keep up the fantastic kitten/cat work
Happy Sunday Hannah & Andrew. I remember the first day you told us about Chouchou. I just thought that's the way a Persian cat was facial wise. I didn't know that it was because of breeding. So a HUGE thank you for sharing that knowledge with me. 👍👍 As for the adoption notice by Andrew the first time. I just started bawling my eyes out. 😭😭 But, when Andrew came into the shot saying he was the adopter. Those tears went from sadness ones to joyful tears of happiness. You could see in all the pics of the two of them. How close they had become. So when you introduced the adopter again in this Vlog Hannah. And in stepped Andrew. Even though I knew already. Those happy tears started flowing again. 😉 BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the both of you for expanding your family again. You can see that Chouchou is just so happy with you and his fur siblings. And that's a beyond wonderful thing to see.👏👏👏
I also thought he looked like a Persian...from the front. When his head is shown profile (on this video & others)...wow, that is some EXTREME brachycephaly. His face looks completely flat (or even a bit concave in some shots).
Persian cats only exist because of breeding. It has nothing to do with being from there. Distinct domestic cat breed are only ever the result of human intervention. And it always has consequences.
I'm so glad you're keeping him. Yeah, every once in a while foster fails happen. It's okay. I'm so glad he gets to keep his bond with you two and your pets, and that he's with people who will care for his medical needs.
I’m so glad you decided to adopt Chou Chou! He’s a special needs Cat in a lot of ways and you are the only two pet parents he knows. Every animal deserves a loving, caring home.
I'm so happy for you and Chouchou! You'll have a wonderful life together, and we'll get to see more pictures and videos of Chouchou right here! YAY! 🥳 And of course, thank you for the message about Persian cats.
You are the perfect parents for Chou Chou and now he can help educate others about the problems with intentionally breeding brachycephalic cats and dogs.
That surprise announcement was adorable! Oh so very happy for you guys and for Chou Chou 😊 I'm sure some loving people could have cared for him, but I think your explanation of his needs, your investment in his care and his integration into your whole clan is the best spot for him. Congratulations Andrew - the bromance will go on!! I strongly agree that breeding animals that have known medical problems is completely unethical. Shame on people who do it and the people who make it continue by buying these animals. 😢
No need to make excuses! You two have invested SO MUCH into this cat. He clearly has a big role in helping to welcome fosters, that's a super power right there. Andrew you did great! You NEED your OWN cat! It would be criminal to break these two apart. HURRAY EVERYBODY WINS 🎉🎉🎉
I am so glad he’s staying with you, and I say this because of how complex his needs are. If I were in Hannah and Andrew’s shoes, I would have kept him just to be sure his complex care was right. Sometimes, a goodbye goal shouldn’t be the end all be all for every foster. Sometimes, they need their foster parents too much to warrant a new family. Welcome to the family officially, ChouChou.
Oh I’m so happy you decided to adopt Chou Chou 🎉. He’s such a cutie. Thank you for everything you do to help kitties. I agree with you heartily, No more smoosh faced cats OR Dogs!!!!!!!!!
We watched this twice. I teared up when Andrew started talking about the adoption. Then I all out cried when he said he was adopting him!! ❤ This was a really great video!
YALL GOT ME CRYING OVER HERE FOR 🌟NOTHING🌟???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤧 I'm happy to hear he's staying. I could only imagine how l hard letting him go would have been. 🥹❤️
Foster fails are the best! I had a long-haired black and white cat that lived til his 16th birthday. His name was Pharoah but his nickname was ShooShoo because he reminded me of Pepe Le Pew!! Have a wonderful life Chouchou!!!🤗💖🍀🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦 Our Sincere Sympathy on the sad loss of your precious Eloise. Love & comfort from Dobby 🐈🐾 and me.🌹😔🌹
Having a foster be so integrated into your family would make it so hard to let them go. And sometimes you just know that they’re already home. So glad Chou Chou has officially adopted you guys. ❤ P.S. it truly is the defining pet owner experience for them to acquire a ton of nicknames, each one sillier than the last. 😂
I am thrilled for the two of you, you are right that breeding has caused so many problems for Chouchou, but your home is the the right home. Also Andrew is so freaking happy.
We adopted a kitten when she was between 6-8 weeks old and my husband slept with her in another room for the first month of her life, because she was so small. We also have another cat and needed to introduce them slowly to each other through the door, since our older cat was so spoiled! Now the kitten is about 4 months old and is thriving but is so attached to my husband. She follows him around all day and sits on his lap during the day while he works. It is so sweet. So happy for Chouchou and for you both! Gorgeous cat!
I was so psyched when I saw this on I.G! Chou Chou and all of your babies (foster and not) are beautiful and precious -I love them all and I love you two and the work that you do. I appreciate your babies and you two, the work you do and your compassion and respect for animals.♥️😊
Loved watching about Chouchou. What a sweetheart. I have a cat with a cleft lip. He was at a rescue that specializes in sick/injured or special needs cats. He was 2 days old when they took him in. They had posted lots of video about him as he grew. Everyone loved him but when he was put up for adoption there was not one application for him. I hadn't been planning on adopting another- had 6 already, but he is just the best boy.
Thank God! This was meant to be. Chou Chou feels important there and he works hard. I am over the moon! Thank you so much. By the way, my first video was Ferguson. Both cats surprised all of us in so many wonderful ways. LOVE TO EVERY BEING IN YOUR HOME!!!❤❤😂

He has had such a rough life. Thank God you were there to help him along.
My long haired cat loves it after getting shaved. She prances and dances around the house.
This was meant to be! Chouchou and Andrew are a perfect match 💗 I'm so happy for them!!!!
There is a saying in Finland: a loved child has many names (rakkaalla lapsella on monta nimeä). When you gave us all Chouchous nicknames, it made me think of that. He is clearly loved by both of you. Congratulations to your whole family.
I get that some times we call these "foster fails" (as a term of endearment, of course), but this is the furthest from a "fail" as you can get.
God Bless
I've loved ChouChou ever since you showed him to us as a kitten. He definitely got adopted by the BEST people on the planet. Good job Chouie!!!
Chouchou went through so much with you by his side that it just makes sense that he's a foster fail. The warning you gave is really important because the reason why chouchou went through so much is the improper breeding of these fluffy beings. I'm really glad chouchou was lucky to find you, not all of them are this lucky 🥺
You guys are so sweet together, it’s so good that Chouchou has you both forever.
ChouChou is a fighter 😭♥️❤️🌟and he deserves all the love and care 🐾💖Congratulations ChouChou
Oh, sweet Eloise! How cosmic that this little white floofball Chouchou came along before she left you, and ended up being a (husband’s) foster fail! They truly choose us. 🤍 Thanks as always for the PSA about adopting, not shopping!
I'm so glad he's staying with you and Andrew! 🎉❤
Why would you ruin the video before it even starts 🙄
@@krissflavoredxIt's been mentioned in a previous video,
@@krissflavoredxthey posted it on all their social medias weeks ago now, it’s not a secret 😊
@@krissflavoredx She didn't ruin anything. Andrew already announced it on his own instagram.. 🙄
@krissflavoredx we already knew
How could it NOT be Andrew
Marvellous news and I bet Chouchou is super happy to be staying at home with you guys and you know all his history and are best able to make sure he thrives going forward. Enjoy 🎉🎉
i’m so glad that this lil guy finally has his forever home 🥰
What a relief. In the beginning, I was thinking, how can they be so happy and excited? I'd be bawling an ocean. Glad that baby is staying where he belongs.
Aww congrats on your forwever home Chouchou!
Congratulations! Sometimes a foster is meant to be adopted. So happy Andrew has his little buddy!
Chouchou is the sweetest cat and a special case. A lot of us had a feeling he was not going anywhere.
Ok but I audibly gasped when I saw this! Ahhh I’m so excited for him thank u so much Hanna for taking care of the little guy!❤💕
Aw, I’m getting so emotional over how far he’s come! Welcome to the family Chou ❤️
And his needs will perfectly fitted with you guys,i’m incredibly happy to see him have a such a strong bond with andrew as well! keep up the fantastic kitten/cat work
i’m so glad he and andrew get to stay together!
Happy Sunday Hannah & Andrew.
I remember the first day you told us about Chouchou. I just thought that's the way a Persian cat was facial wise. I didn't know that it was because of breeding. So a HUGE thank you for sharing that knowledge with me. 👍👍
As for the adoption notice by Andrew the first time.
BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the both of you for expanding your family again.
YOU HAD ME IN TEARS!!! NOW HAPPY TEARS!!! The best kind of surprise. Thank you so much!! I know special cat deserves the most special cat dad.
I'm so glad you're keeping him. Yeah, every once in a while foster fails happen. It's okay. I'm so glad he gets to keep his bond with you two and your pets, and that he's with people who will care for his medical needs.
May Chouchou and Andrew have many years of adventures to come 💕
Goodbye is the goal, but this was meant to be.... So happy for you guys! Congrats!
Such a nice way to say you “foster failed”. How lovely! ❤
I'm happy for both Chouchou and Andrew that they get to stay together. A bond like that shouldn't be severed. ^^
This reminds me of the time when Eloise was adopted by Kitten Lady because Coco wanted to keep Eloise as her friend.
WoooHooo! Happy homecoming!!! Oh we see.....you are putting Chouchou to work as an employee....free labor for the newbie fosters..lol
I'm glad Chou gets to stay with both his human best friend as well as his cat one!
What a relief! I'm so happy to know he'll be with you two forever.
I’m so happy that ChouChou is a forever part of your family!! I know you all will be happy together 😻🎊
You are the perfect parents for Chou Chou and now he can help educate others about the problems with intentionally breeding brachycephalic cats and dogs.
I’m so glad ChouChou is staying with you!! ❤
Andrew technically already had his own cat, he has his cat Haroun that he got before he met Hannah
What a wonderful outcome! I'm glad we'll get to continue to see Chouchou and all of his funny shenanigans ❤
Andrew's video is my go too place to get an instant smile
Oh I’m so happy you decided to adopt Chou Chou 🎉. He’s such a cutie. Thank you for everything you do to help kitties. I agree with you heartily, No more smoosh faced cats OR Dogs!!!!!!!!!
I so happy for Chouchou, Andrew and of course Ferg that you kept this fluffy guy!
Poor guy's had a rough start to life, I'm so happy you're making the rest of it so bright!
We watched this twice. I teared up when Andrew started talking about the adoption. Then I all out cried when he said he was adopting him!! ❤ This was a really great video!
YALL GOT ME CRYING OVER HERE FOR 🌟NOTHING🌟????
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤧
I'm happy to hear he's staying. I could only imagine how l hard letting him go would have been. 🥹❤️
Foster fails are the best! I had a long-haired black and white cat that lived til his 16th birthday. His name was Pharoah but his nickname was ShooShoo because he reminded me of Pepe Le Pew!! Have a wonderful life Chouchou!!!🤗💖🍀🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦
Our Sincere Sympathy on the sad loss of your precious Eloise. Love & comfort from Dobby 🐈🐾 and me.🌹😔🌹
An obvious bond and job as ambassador, congrats all!
Having a foster be so integrated into your family would make it so hard to let them go. And sometimes you just know that they’re already home. So glad Chou Chou has officially adopted you guys. ❤
P.S. it truly is the defining pet owner experience for them to acquire a ton of nicknames, each one sillier than the last. 😂
Seeing him grow up and being adopted by you guys is so so rewarding to watch. ❤❤❤❤
AWW, I am so glad that you both decided to keep dear sweet Chouchou 😻💖
Chou Chou is in the best place he could ever be in.
Congratulations to the three of you.
Congratulations! So cool that Chou can stay with the humans he knows best AND help with other foster animals! That means he's staff now, right? 😀
I'm not surprised you decided to keep him, you've done so much for him it's only natural you'd bond so closely.
This makes me so happy! If you're going to foster fail, Chouchou is a good one to do it with!
