I can't recall the latin word for "cliffhanger" for example and there are sure to be exotic languages which have been forgotten. There would be a vocal sound to imply the concept however the concept is yet to be created. I suppose the matter depends on how one defines a "word" and whether a word is still used/exists if nobody knows of it.

I suppose there are words which "were used" but are used no longer due to having been forgotten or are out of current use. I can't recall the latin word for "cliffhanger" for example and there are sure to be exotic languages which have been forgotten.
There are also perhaps words that are yet to be used, due to not having been created yet. An example would be the word for the fictional alien race in Star Wars episode 10. There would be a vocal sound to imply the concept however the concept is yet to be created.
