bruh my school started using phone pitches right after I got my own phone at 18... to top it all off I heard Canada is doing a full on phone ban at school, like I know this ain't targeted at me and other people have problems checking their phone in class but some of us like me can have their phone in their pocket and it's not a problem and I get zero temptation of taking it out unless for those times I wanted to check the time. Plus emergencies which my schools response to that is we can call your parents on our own phone like bruh that ain't even the same thing. I also use my phone as a step counter but it doesn't matter that much but I still have comfort having my phone with me all the time
