I'm proud of these guys, they are mexicans and they are having a lot of succes in all the world. I'm mexican too, and I'm happy because of them. In México don't care too much about music of R&G and it's sad.
I love Gabriela's strumming technique, it's so self configured and fluid as the heart pumps blood though the stream, ever running with soul and excitement.
This was my first KEXP experience! I was walking around the space needle area, passed by here and saw a crowd gathering in. So glad I got to walk into the gathering space for this performance!
Honestly I'm amazed by how well the volume is normalized across frequencies in this mix. It sounds great especially when considering the differences in instruments!
I usually don't care fore the acoustic electric mix that much but here hes the lead guitar player an shes the drummer, and bass player, and rhythm guitar player, and there is some dirt on her guitar tone so it works.
I've always loved their unique work but honestly I'm not feeling the electric guitar. Not saying it's bad it's great but I prefer the raw sound they have when both with acoustic
Thee Posts me neither but i guess it’s “evolving” maybe(?) looking for new sounds and exit from the confort zone, that’s what great artist have done, even swinging from different genres and explore beyond,
I absolutely love it, the Jaguar has a different kind of rawness all it’s own. Still love their acoustic sets, of course, but it’s fun to hear their work in a different light.
yea same it doesn't sound nearly as impressive. maybe if he had a better guitar but jaguars aren't exactly known for clean tones, they just look cool.... honestly surprised to see him playing on one and for the whole set no less. doesn't feel raw, just feels like lo-fi garage guitar
As a classically trained pianist, musician, and pedagogue I can say with absolute confidence that all of their music sounds the same. They are the Gottschalk of two guitars 🙄.
Man. Gabriella is my hero. That hand action is absolutely insane.

U lucky fuck!
Thankyou from Scotland for this goddam channel :)
I always loved Rodrigo's guitar playing but the solos he had in the first song were amazing
This was great, but now that Rodrigo is playing electric guitar, I think Gabriela's guitar needs to be higher in the mix. Just a touch.
Agreed

Saw them in Leeds last weekend. They were so good! They’re fantastic.

Exactly
I was at Anaheim house of blues show. I thought I saw him playing a Johnny marr jag!
@@um236 Rodrigo is a man of taste, that Jag is amazing!

sounds like Frusciante's tone
Ellos tienen un café en mi puerto y una de sus canciones sale en el primer capítulo de braking bad
Nice Mastery Bridge on his Jag.

Ugh, lost all it's magic on an electric. Get that acoustic back Rodrigo

Keep triumphing abroad, here in Mexico people dont apreciate this kind of music

I prefer his parts on an acoustic...just splitting hairs...

I kept wanting to shout out "Judas" for some reason.
VIVA MEXICO CABRONES !!! SEP 2021
last.
whoever gave these 2 a thumbs down? Should just stick to Beiber or Minaj. Cuz these 2 are the truth.
What an original and useful comment, thanks for your contribution
The electric guitar being louder ruined it all
Yeah I'm not really feeling the electric sound but maybe it's just too loud in the mix
