Agreed. Sometimes it almost looks like he's aiming a gun or something. It's simultaneously an art and a game of precision.

Paul Poulin Something neat: Dislikes are actually helpful in a way because they make the video 'controversial' and it widens the range of people who see it.

How could anyone dislike this man. You play two guitar licks and then bass notes too and if you still feel that way then ok but won't and you can't . Chumps!

Had the pleasure of seeing him play in the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall (Jacksonville, FL).
I'm 17 and I considered myself a pretty decent guitarist until I saw him and I felt like an infant with a guitar in my hands.
Every song he's written/transcribed is a masterpiece and he's such a chill guy.
I got him to autograph a CD and a poster for me. Definitely the best concert I've ever been to.

This is by far the best guitarist I have ever seen play with total mastery of his instrument! Makes me feel all kinds of emotions and dare I say tear up a little because it is so beautiful. I may never be that good at guitar in my lifetime. Only Andy can really play with that unmistakable feel and groove! Amazing!

saw Andy in Sydney Australia (the basement) it was magical, Rylynn still gives me goosebumps, the song was born in deep sorrow (the death of a friends little daughter
-i think) now her memory lives on & that sadness is behind Andy (i think)

People keep dissing the percussion pop, but it is a style, and he has incredible flow with it. And also, every musician takes a little of every other sound they have heard to make a new sound. That is the art of music, an unsung collaboration of those that inspired you. Just fu#king enjoy it for what it is, great music by a great guitarist. And YES Totos Africa was epic.

play it often, if you give it a few years of intimacy you'll develop your own touch and sound quite well. it's about intimacy over time i think if you want sound like his. intimacy = focus for at least an hour straight. once you get comfortable playing guitar and you can play by ear decently i would recommend going out to find yourself a nice guitar that becomes your own and learn to take care of it. i wanna pick up an instrument once i settle down in my own house somewhere
