I almost fell down myself when the second conversation with the doctor disclosed that it wasn't his son but in fact his two other children that were not biologically OPs. God help me I think I might be doing 25 to life! Again well done!
The doctor direct, no nonsense, approach to delivering the news to OP, is to me, a faint idea this whole story is fake. However, I have some fantasies now to think about. :)
Who in their right mind would agree to sleep with anyone outside the marriage to try for a baby? I will never understand the thought of process, especially when it comes from a parent, that’s just fucked up and makes things worse, who on earth would agree to something so fucked up like this, selfish and abhorrent behaviour on everyone’s part

Story would be more realistic without the hesitation and lack of resolve. Nobody facing possibilities of paternity fraud is passive to the point of not even thinking of ramifications. Before getting results he'd already start thinking of either divorce, murder or hide his head in the sand. He might be stuck in stupor and look lost because of those thoughts, but he would have those thoughts and wouldn't be thinking "uhhh i have no idea what to do".
Different people, react differently. If you will react in that manner, it doesnt mean that other people will. Some are more composed and would think rationally to plan whats the next course of action would be.
A clear example of why men absolutely cannot go through any relationship with blinders on, not paying attention to any red flags and intentionally being blissfully unaware of unusual circumstances in their lives. Dudes have to trust but always verify and never put your wife/fiancee/girlfriend on a pedestal. Ever…
Honestly at this point I understand why Arab men are so strict with their spouses, shit like this almost never happens in the Middle East and when it does the consequences are actually Just.
