I’m happy shadow high still exists but.. I’m not getting my hopes up. This is just so sad to me. It breaks my heart to see rainbow high become this shell of what it once was.
I actually think MGA have forgotten they even have a Shadow High website and once someone there remembers it will probably just vanish.

Everytime my wife and I go to Target the shelves are dully attacked with the new reboot dolls. Nobody is buying them. I remember when the first series came out and every series after that, you could hardly find any of them and would have to wait a few weeks for restock. This is so sad to see what this doll line has come to. I wish they would have just ended the series altogether instead of this reboot.😢

I have to agree with you. It is depressing. Some of the most beautiful dolls I have ever seen in my life with diversity and fashion reduced to this so-called rainbow world. I guess there's one good thing to come to of this: I won't be wasting my money on dolls I can't love.

It's not a soft reboot, it's full hard reboot. I agree, it's back to the beginning with no Diversity. I feel going forward MGA will only focus on those 8 dolls.
At least poppy & Bella are still here, tho strange their artwork is the same as before. I hope this doesn't mean rainbow high UA-cam channel deletes everything and refreshes as well
Seeing the Rainbow High Website like this with all those character bios gone is intensely disappointing. At least Poppy is still in the line, thankfully. I'm also glad that Shadow High's website is unaffected, because hopefully that means that it is being completely spared from the RH Rebrand.🖤💜

… and the shelf space allotment continues to shrink at Walmart and Target for this product line.
After this...I don't expect the boys to return...I HOPE they do but this is disheartening. I HOPE this is just them working on revamping the site and they will add everyone back.
I'm just happy to have Poppy and Bella! If the reboot is successful, the others will come or there could be new characters. I don't think all hope is lost.
They shouldve kept or added krystal to the main characters bc she wouldve added some much needed rep for this new generation and plus indigo is an import color in the rainbow so they shouldve added her in

All very shocking and sad. I do hope later lines will be more inclusive, and that the quality we all loved will return. The only doll I like so far in this new era, is the pajama party Bella. I’m very curious to see a finalized Poppy doll; and if they bring back SH which I love

This is so sad. It’s like the time when Monster High website disappeared. Rainbow high is more sad because they use the original characters. MH changes style which makes the generations different. Did Rainbow High focusing on toddlers? The website is much more basic than other children focus website
it looks like they want to completely erase the old vision of RH. Now its more kid inspired

It’s a relaunch of the brand so of course it’s focusing on the original core characters, what reboot doesn’t bring it back to the first line of dolls? Monster High always starts with Drac, Frankie, Clawdeen, Lagoona and Cleo. Bratz starts with Jade, Cloe, Sasha and Yasmin etc.
People are acting so surprised as though this isn’t what always happens, the only extra’s are Bella and Amaya, But considering it’s a brand with the concept of colour and rainbows of course the first pink doll and the rainbow one is being included too. Every other doll is just a repeat of these core colours in different shades.
Everyone needs to calm down, seriously.
But MH and bratz always had other characters come in and rh was doing that too with so many new characters getting introduced over 3 years adding more diversity and inclusivity…and now that’s all gone it seems what a downgrade 😅
@@PeachYReviews19Yes but not at the rebrand’s launch. G3 Monster High only had a set number of characters for the first set of releases - the signature dolls/coffee bean/School Spirit. Then they started re adding the other characters with subsequent lines - Twyla with creepover/Abbie and Clawd with signature wave 2 etc.
The Slime dolls/Sleepover junior high/Budget swimwear dolls are the first wave of releases. I’d wait until we get the second wave of dolls before declaring everything ruined. Everyone panicked about Poppy being dead and buried, but she’s clearly still around too.

I just checked the Shadow High website, and it looks like that they took it down. There's nothing related to the brand, neither dolls nor the characters.

I feel like the shadow high website will end up getting refreshed or potentially deleted soon. I only found out about this by a youtube creator im subscribed by and i couldn't believe at first! So sad that they deleted the other students + their bios, i wish i took screenshots of it before it refreshed but oh well. Maybe wayback machine has the old rh website

Let’s be honest, the RH brand never truly cared about diversity and inclusion. If they did we wouldn’t have had to beg for one dark skin character be added to series 2, there would have been more hair textures and styles, and they would have included some of the culturally unique dolls in the reboot. I’m so done with RH. 😒

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I fear the Rainbow High we've known and loved is either no more or moved somewhere else, and in its place is now a more "child-friendly" Rainbow World.😢😢😢
At least we still have Poppy and Bella 🧡🩷🧡🩷.
So basically from the looks of things, Rainbow World is going to revolve around this new version of the Main Eight girls and everyone else seems to cease to exist.
Plus, the artwork for this new reboot just gives me vibes of shows like *Strawberry Shortcake* , *My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic* , *Polly Pocket* etc.....
It looks like those magical girl shows of magic, friendship, music and talking plushy animals.
I've nothing against that but that's just the vibe the reboot is giving me.
Plus, would this reboot have made more sense if they made Rainbow World an adventure the girls had back in their Junior High days that really blazed their spark for fashion and colour, and the junior high adventure ended on a cliff hanger of them having the crystals as tokens to remind them of their adventure but not knowing what they really were. So over time the crystals fed on the girls friendship, inspiration and magic and grew over time to manifest into each girl's unique pet which brings us to this new adventure where the girls return to Rainbow World once more?
My theory for why only the 8 main characters are on the website and why everyone else is gone is probably because it’s going to have something to do with what happens in Season 5. I think MGA entertainment purposely only left the 8 girls posted because they want Season 5 to focus only on them. I think once season 5 is over, they will bring back other characters. But that’s just my theory.

This is a reboot, not a remake, I think, so of course they are going to start with the main characters. That's only obvious. They should have included the Indigo girl, I don't remember her name, but her design was as weak as it was for all series 2 so I don't feel so bad. She was designed as a white girl so whatever. Bella and Amaya were included because Amaya was part of the first release, and Bella is pink. The reboot has only two or three lines and they have time to reintroduce the characters. And if I am being honest, they better spend time on then because the main girls look like they be done on a rush.

well if people don't buy the black dolls,, they don't have a right to complain,, reason they don't make them as much is because they don't sell ,, and a company is here to make money not to make you happy,, if people want more dolls of color,, make sure to support them and buy them at full price,, not when they are on sale for 10 dollars

Chill, this is the softest reboot I have seen. The side characters still exist, they just aren’t important to the slime fantasy plot yet. The other characters will likely appear as background characters and possibly get dolls in the future. Not that I like the direction this is going in, I think kids will be frustrated with the blatant changing of the plot with no tack or grace applied, but still, the other characters have not been retconed out of existence yet, they are just not being utilized right now.
Still even if they do appear in the background etc, what a waste of 3 years of all this character development and diversity especially at the end there with new body types too
