This was awesome to see! No one else has shown this! I would totally do it for only $70! All day! I would take a morning shower then an evening show and get ready for dinner! Love it
Its not really all day. You have to reserve time as they have a limited # of people allowed to be inside at a time. You get (i think 3) hrs for the day.
$70/day seems like a good value for what they have, but I'm hoping the rumor of three hour passes is true because I can't stay still for too long. I wish the different temperature pools were deep plunge pools though.
This is such a great video and you guys gave all of that great information that I'm sure some of us were looking for! I'm definitely gonna do it when I go on my cruise next year! Thank you!
Hi altermood! That's great! So glad the video was helpful and that you're going to give it a try! We hope you have a wonderful time! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳
Looks super nice!! I just wish the plunge tubs were deeper, they seem very small, but I’m soo soo excited to go!! Probably a stupid question but are you allowed to keep the robes and slippers or do you return them at the end?
Thank you for showing this because the thermal suite is one of my major cruise criteria's. I think I actually prefer thermal suites on other cruises. This one looks nice and I will give it a try BUT I do not see the heated tile loungers. I love cruise ships that have plenty of heated tile loungers with a lovely ocean view. I could nap in one of those all day. I realize all the marble is heated but I dont love laying flat on hard stone...doesn't seem as comfy. I also love cruises that have aromatherapy steam rooms and aromatherapy showers. I am kinda excited about the mud room; I do like those.
Hi! I totally get what you mean about the heated loungers versus the large heated surfaces here. I think the loungers would be more comfortable as well. The mud room was definitely our favorite! We hope you enjoy it and have a great time! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳
THANK YOU for doing this! the thermal suites are my biggest criteria in choosing a ship and i was SUPER CURIOUS about all these details! I think the price is on the high side though. NCL offers weekly pass for just $200 and i always get that for duration of my cruise. I agree with others that i'd miss the tile loungers too. but the MUD room is very cool, at least they have this option on board which looks good!
Hi Sara! Yay! So glad this video had the info you were looking for! And thanks for the info about NCL! We’re very new to using spas so the comparison is super helpful! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳
That sauna with bucket of water and stove with stones is Finnish Sauna. You throw water to stones and enjoy. Its all about how much you throw water on the stones. More water, more you feel the heat.
i wouldn't be overly impressed, honestly. looks very glitzy but actually, practically it looks very lacking when you compare it to what they have on norwegian ships. those hot/ cold tubs look like big sinks! i think this could feel rather crowded rather quickly if there are a few people in. you said the price but do you have to buy a pass for the whole cruise or can you just book the day or days you want? nice video btw
Hi there- thanks for this video. I"m sailing in Feb and not interested really in all that exercise stuff so this seems more my speed. Really enjoying your videos. I'm hoping I'm not going to be bored on this cruise.
Yes $70 for all day is great. My question is, and this is a stupid question, but if you purchase a massage does the Rest of the spa come with it as well?
Thank for this video. I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves but $70 is on the higher side and NCL's Thermal suites are overall nicer with more lounging area. I agree with another comment that I don't like not having a separate Men's and Women's Locker Room. I'll have to decide if this is worth it to me. But enjoyed the video!
Hi Anthony! Thanks so much for sharing your experiences! We have heard a lot of positive things about NCL's spa area and hope to try it one day! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳
I like separate locker rooms for men snd women with steam sauna and jacuzzi where you can have more privacy and not have to wear swimming suit- then common area for those who want to mix
$70/all day...not bad!! But it would be more reasonable if the salt room was open and they provided you with another cup of mud. Did the regular pool have any jets on it? I didn't see that on the video. I would think at least one thing of water option would have jets as its a spa.
Hi Dipa! ❤️ I don’t remember, but I don’t think the regular pool had jets. We were a bit bummed about the salt room but it was still a great experience! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳
Suggestions - I bring face masks, hair masks etc. This saves you a fortune in spa treatments but can be used while you are in the spa using their mud etc too...bring your dry body brush too...helps your tan to grow quicker.
Hi Leigh! While you're on the ship you can go to the Spa desk and ask for prices but pre cruising I would try the app to see if they had prices available. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳
$70 a day doesn't seem bad. You would think that there would be someone working there to help you get the best experience of it all. The cold plunge pool was odd. It would seem you want to get in and get out. They should have given you a discount since the salt room was not working. That would be disappointing.
Saunas make me feel like I can't breathe and then a panic attack ensues. I just can't :) you would think I was literally locked in a foot locker the panic is so bad
Hi Leslie! I'm sorry it's not a good experience for you but I can definitely understand why it would cause panic. It does change the feeling of breathing. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
Two questions...first, is the spa communal or are you in those rooms and spas by yourselves? And second, are you supposed to me "au natural" under those robes? Personally, I'd probably pass on that activity.
Hi Adam! The spa is communal, so other people are in the spa rooms with you. And swim suits are worn under the robes as well as in the spa rooms. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳
Its nice but its not as fun as other ships Thermals Spas. I did like the Himalayan salt room...but no explanation or instructions were given. You need to press start in The salt room or you don't get the benefit. Why are you wearing so much in the spa? Is just wearing swimwear frowned on?
Hi Angel! Thanks for the info! No, you can were swimwear, what we were wearing was our swimwear. I don't have any bikinis or traditional swimsuits and Matt always wears a swim shirt when swimming so that's what we had. But swim suites are 100% ok! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
It's not a good price for that amenities. $70 is actually on the higher end. Sandals it's free, other all inclusive it's $30-50 and has better amenities like full size pools. If you get a massage, it's generally free. Side note Matt, this isn't geared towards males. It's absolutely geared to females.
What a ridiculous comment. There are plenty of men that enjoy using steam and saunas. You go to Scandinavian countries and it's a whole family thing where everyone enjoys it. Here in the US go to Las Vegas and the best Hotel spas the Men's facilities are crowded.
This is really not worth it based on the size of the pools. You can go to a Korean spa on land that’s much bigger with more heat rooms and bigger pools for $30/day. Not worth it to pay more than double just because it’s at sea 🤷🏾♀️
I was disappointed watching the video. The thermal suite is lacking greatly. , anyone who has been in the thermal suites on NCL will agree. Too small , and I can’t imagine what it must be like when there are more than a handful of people in there. Bummed out now as I know seeing a hot tub on regular decks will be nearly impossible the thermal suite is as my only salvation to get any real relaxation.
You are a lucky man! The way she looks at you is special. God bless 🙏🏻
This was awesome to see! No one else has shown this! I would totally do it for only $70! All day! I would take a morning shower then an evening show and get ready for dinner! Love it
Hi Lacrecia! I’m glad you liked it! That sounds like a great plan! We really enjoyed it! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳

Looks so relaxing. I definitely would not do the cold either!
Hi Kathy! It was really nice! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳

Hi Mikayla! We had to return the robes but I think we could keep the slippers! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢

Just found you guys. Going on the Scarlet Lady 7/3, and I love your spontaneity. Thank you, I’m enjoying everything. 😊
Thanks so much Jackie! So glad you started watching! We hope you have a fantastic time! Happy Travels! 🤗❤️🛳
This looks like a great soothing experience!!

Looks really cool!! Question tho.. is clothing under the robes required? i know some thermal spas say yes and others no..
Hi Megan! Everyone wore swim suits under the robes when we were there. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳

Hi! We purchased just a pass for the one day. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳
I had to subscribe on this one. LMAO
"You found your next mermaid."
Hi Brooke lyn! Yayyy! So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks subscribing and for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
@@HoffmanHappyTravels Yes. I enjoy watching you both and learning through you.

What time did yall go?
I like it and yes that a good price what there :) but hot tub bit small . You know I are suppose do sanna and then go cold pool .
Hi Tracy! Whoopsie we did it opposite with the cold and then the sauna! 😂 Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳

Where can we find a spa services menu with prices for the Scarlett Lady?
Hi Leigh! While you're on the ship you can go to the Spa desk and ask for prices but pre cruising I would try the app to see if they had prices available. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳
Oh! That’s fun-I think the $70 per person per day is OK if it’s a limited kind of like when you guys were there.
Hi Parrysh! Thanks for watching!
We definitely enjoyed it! 😁
Happy Travels!
Nicely done.
Thanks Cruise Enthusiast! ❤️❤️❤️

You might find the Salt room useful it's very calming and the salt us so good for your lungs too.

I know this a different video but t hope u didn’t wear the universal shirt at Disney cause I know that u love that shirt I know that’s ur swim shirt
Hi Jose! Haha ya he did, but it’s his only swim shirt so he kind of had to. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳
Not worth it on that ship. 59 seems more in line for the size of the spa

😂😂 u can’t be doing videos in the water that JJ cruise trade mark
