thanks man you convinced me to go for the 608s this time. my last pair was 623 and i hear you on how they took a little bit to break in. to me they also feel really light, which is nice but sort of in a cheap way. the material around the shoe is very thin which i can see comparing to your 608 in your video the 608 appears much thicker. lots of good deals on these right now because its black friday lol

I've always liked the 608's. They're very comfortable and last a long time. I work on my feet everyday and they really feel good.
I'm wearing them now! No knee pain. Added bonus: I can be seen at night. Lol
Yes, I have noticed that the black 608s just don't support like the white 608s. It feels like the toe box is stiffer and less roomy. I use my black shoes for work, white for walking; this weekend I used the black for walking and I have mad foot pain now, which never happened with the white. What is up with that?
Thank you for this. In fact, I just ordered a new pair of black 608s which I am wearing now. I am testing them in my house. So far, they are better than I remember, but not quite as comfortable as the white pair I am replacing. I will give them a few more days of breaking in, then I will do a video. Please remind me!
I think the 608s are US made; I wonder if the 623s are? That may explain the difference in fit.
