I’m too claustrophobic to ever be in a submarine. Essentially under water. These sailors are amazing!
My oldest son was a Nuke Machinist Mate 1st class in the USS Alabama #731 and USS Albuquerque SSN 706. He loved the Navy.

When on a sub, are there more people awake during daylight hours?
I know a sub operates 24/7, but for example on a base, their would be more people working during daylight hours, such as support staff.
Nuclear submarines can destroy the world 3 times over...on the other hand...nuclear submarines have the best chow in the Navy.
