I will always have a special place in my heart for Adventure. She was the first RCCL ship I have ever sailed on and have been on her 3 times since. She has a very convenient and comfortable layout and now almost feels like a second home. Also, Don't forget to visit the Peek-A-Boo Bridge and I would put her Schooner Bar second only to Radiance. Anyone will have a great time cruising on Adventure!
Good to know, I am a big fan of the Freedom Class, with the Independence being my fav., I am taking my grands on this ship next week and selected it for what it offered knowing it would be enough to keep them entertained. Along with the the stop to Perfect Day, they will have a great time.
So excited for this ship tour. I booked her for the port when I did Bermuda and I honestly wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful she was!
My husband and I just took our 1st cruise ever on Adventure OTS in June. We absolutely loved it. There's plenty to do, entertainment was great and its a beautiful ship.
My family of 4 went on Adventure in March of 2023. This was my kids first cruise ages 9 & 11 and they fell in love!!! My daughter enjoyed the unlimited vanilla ice cream that the ran out on the last day. 😂 Needless to say my family has been bitten by the cruise bug! We will be back very very soon!! ❤
Thanks for this. I love Adventure. Been on her 3 times and still had to spend nearly an hour watching this instead of going to bed! The Duck and Dog is probably where I'll be if I'm not in the Solarium. Just got off Harmony and really missed having a pool in the Solarium.
So good to see things like the Peek-a-boo deck and Johnny Rockets are still on Adventure. They were revived grin the Voyager during its deamplification. I like the idea of the two story mini golf.
Adventure was our first cruise. Been on her 5 times and 6th will be next year when we hit diamond+. Only upgrade I would wish they would add is lime and coconut and the bamboo room. That is it
I had my first cruise on AOTS on 7/29-8/5 with my family of 19 and it was awesome. We had our dinner at one of the main dining room, can’t remember what deck it was, either deck 4 or 5, out waiters Radiful and Dev were awesome. There were much food at the windjammer to enjoy, as a Jamaican we even had some jerk chicken, rice and peas and my favorite oxtail the day before we left. The pizza was a good thing to grab at late nigh when feeling abit hungry before going to bed😀the free ice cream was good. My only downfall was the drink they serve at windjammer, it has no flavor to it. It’s like some flovoured down water. The reggae band was awesome, can’t remember the name, but I look forward to it every night🇯🇲. Looking back at this video there is a lot I didn’t see, however I enjoyed what I did saw, there is so much to enjoy on AOTS.
Informative video! Thanks for elaboration of the live music venues. The live music is what keeps me coming back to Royal, and I still find cruisers who have no idea about live entertainment in some of the bars.
My wife and I went on Adventure for our honeymoon in 2003 and just celebrated our 20th anniversary on Oasis. Thanks for the video to reminisce. Wow has the ship changed!
Adventure was our first ever cruise in 2006 on our Honeymoon, a 7 day southern carribean. And been on the ship twice since. Sure have good memories! Would like to go again soon.
Booked Adventure for July 19, 2024 sailing 🎉 can't wait. This will be my third RC cruise, I did Allure last year, and going on Symphony in April 2024. I'm wondering how I'll feel on a smaller ship after those 2 large ones 😅
Great video Matt! My wife and I are booked on Adventure of the Seas in January 2024 on an Eastern Caribbean and CocoCay itinerary. It will be our first B2B sailing, (for a total of 14 nights), and first time in a suite, so we're excited. We also love the English pub (probably because I'm from England, lol) but also are great fans of the Schooner Bar. We prefer the Schooner Bar location on Voyager and Freedom class ships, compared to Oasis class where the bar is in an open plan position above the Royal Promenade, which makes it generally louder and less appealing. The Adventure looks like a beautiful ship and we love the size of the Voyager class.
This June was my first cruise on Royal. We went on Allure of the Seas. I thought it would be too large, but it was perfect. May if 2024 we are going on Adventure if the Seas.
Thanks Matt for this video!! I'm going on Adventure for my very first cruise on 9/9. All your videos have been very helpful in planning this soon to be great time. Thanks again!!
When I was a kid, they didn’t have employees handing the soft serve station…..me and my siblings used to run into the buffet and grab a bowl run back to the ice cream machine and serve ourselves and whole mountain of ice cream 😮💨😅
Hello Matt, thank you for this awesome ship walkthrough! I will be going on the Explorer of the Seas ship next year and I haven't found any good walkthroughs of the ship, would it be possible for you to make a full ship tour for the Explorer? Thank you in advance!
Would you recommend the unlimited dining package for this ship? A total of 390$ for 2 people for a 6 night cruise. Doesn’t look like there’s that many speciality restaurants in this ship 😊
Is there any videos pre-2005 of this ship? I remember going on as a kid in 2001/2002 and can't find anything so I thought I might ask. I went on Explorer, Voyager, Navigator, and Adventure I believe around that time. Like, I even remember getting the news reports of the 2004 tsunami while on the ship and word going around. Stuff that far back, are there any records?
Thanks heaps for the very informative video. We are going on the adventure’s of the seas friday week. Just wondering what is the dress code for main dining. I’ve heard some people say formal and others say neat casual. We are coming from Australia and don’t have the luxury of travelling with heaps of luggage 😅
I have heard that lately they have been having problems with sewage backing up into the bathroom and flooding the rooms. Have you heard anything about this? We are scheduled for September 2024 and thinking of canceling and booking a different ship.
Do you know if deck 13 is accessible by elevator? Looks like it might be a quiet space for my husband to read and relax without feeling crowded with his wheelchair.
My only problem with Voyager-class ships is that the public areas (and particularly the Royal promenade venues) are just cramped and hard to move around (particularly if you have a wheelchair)…I appreciate the variety of venues but just find them a bit claustrophobic while the same venues on, say, Quantum or even Freedom-class ships just are less cramped and are more comfortable
We cruised on Mariner in February and will be on Adventure to Aruba in March. The two ships seem identical but you mentioned Adventure doesn’t have all the upgrades that Mariner has. What are the differences?
Weird question. Do people feel the ocean view window radiate heat or stay cool most of the time? Normally we keep the drapes closed on balconies to keep the heat out, is this not a problem on ocean views?
Matt, I'm definitely not the guy to point out grammatical errors, but I did notice an error when you were narrating this video. When you were discussing being a diamond member in the diamond lounge around 22:30, you say that you need 70 points to become a diamond member when it's actually 80. I'm sure you don't want to re-narrate it, but I noticed it. I pay attention to every word you say my friend. LOL 🤣🤣🤣
Really hope your cruise line treats your employees better and not like Princess does. It’s a shame cruise companies do not pay any taxes. All of the main employees are laughing at all the governments knowing they are getting away with so much scamming. I have multiple friends who work for different cruise companies and are all having to experience new mental health problems and say they hate their jobs besides the paradise they see….
Imagine my surprise when I come across this video only to see myself and my husband in the dining room😂
That’s fantastic!!!!
That's crazyyy
I would start asking for royalties everytime the video is viewed. 🤭

This ship was my intro to cruising and I never want to stop now!
I’m going here next spring looks so fun I can’t wait to spend time with my family and friends😊

I like the idea of the two story mini golf.
I really enjoyed this video, My children and I will be going in July of 2024 and you have made it so easy to decide
We are going on this ship in April. It’s the perfect size for us. Thanks, Mat. Your tour was very informative. 👏👏
Same I’m also going on the ship in April😂
@@JustmeEmikate yeah! We are going April 26. How about you? 😊
I'm so excited to be on this cruise ship for 12 days from Florida to Portugal Next month celebrating our 30th year anniversary
Like # 18 20 days and counting until our very first Cruise on Royal Caribbean taking independence of the seas going to Coco Cay 🛳

Awesome video thank you, you did a great job explaining everything. We going in 43 days on this ship, can't hardly wait.

I will be taking my first cruise on Adventure next June. Looking forward to it.
303 days until Adventure OTS! Thanks for the updated video!
This video was great. Adventure is now at the top of my list for next royal ship to check out!
Yay, thanks for this! We booked her for my daughters 18th bday and Graduation Cruise in June of 24 🎉😊

Thank you I'm her granddaughter I'm so exited next month is her birthday November 14 1956
Went on her in June. She is definitely in need of a spruce up. The wear and tear are showing up. Still had a good time.

Been on the brigde of this ship, together with pilot John Craane, St Martin 2004. Cruise terminal is named after him. RIP John
Like more than the new ones
Gotta go for a cruise on this ship soon!
We are going on this ship in February 😊
I want to cruise Adventure for the Peekaboo Bridge and 2 story mini-golf!
Can we please have a series of vlogs
Pleaseeeeeeeee 😢
Going July 5, now we will be prepared
Hello Matt, thank you for this awesome ship walkthrough!

I’ll be on the Adventure of the Seas on September 9
Just been on independence. Looks very similar although I understand it’s a different class
Kraken Colada. If you know, you know.
We are on that ship
all this needs is to drop one of the promenade stores and put in the sports bar like mariner
Would you recommend the unlimited dining package for this ship? A total of 390$ for 2 people for a 6 night cruise. Doesn’t look like there’s that many speciality restaurants in this ship 😊
I bet you can't wait to do a full ship tour of ICON.
That’s going to be a huge challenge!
Which sailing was this recorded on? I just got off this ship 2 weeks ago!!

it's like alcatraz, except you pay for it! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Great tour. We're sailing on her in 2025
We cruised on Mariner in February and will be on Adventure to Aruba in March. The two ships seem identical but you mentioned Adventure doesn’t have all the upgrades that Mariner has. What are the differences?

I was on adventure in 2000.
Is there a Sports Bar type on the Adventure of the Seas?
Wikipedia says the Adventure of the Seas was built in 2001.
Any reason it wasn’t called Adventurer in the same style as the others in the class?
24:15 I'm curious if the chapel be reserved because if there's a priest he wants to reserve the chapel to say Mass, can he do that?
Big QUESTION - why a crew member giving out the ice cream / ON Carnival cruise Guests can get there own ice cream
To avoid spills and just general confusion how to operate the machine. A lot of young kids come to get ice cream
I wonder if they do bridge tours?
Is this pizza as good as sorentos on Allure?
Exactly the same
Where would I get the premium coffee if I have a refreshment drink package?
I been on her 3 times :)
I bought her ship model too
0:18 Is that the mariner of the seas?
If i just have water in a bar for the ambiance, am I charged for the water?
Is Ben and Jerry's gone on this ship yet?
Where is the smoking section?
