- Out test running the RTR b24zh. It's stock electronics are not the greatest but work(I'm taking it out and putting my own electronics in it lol). Well hope you enjoy! Hear, hear! I must agree. It's almost a 1/1 scale environment, nothing is overly obvious that these aren't real trucks (if you squint your eyes, lol).
These are enjoyable to watch. I won't watch someone else do a drive in their backyard around potted plants and (out of scale) grass that needs mowing...

lol, I'm waiting on the C-24 drift machine, hope you caught comment about removing 1st counter gear, relocating 2nd one to mesh to motor, for doubling the wheel speed. wish they'd drill a divot for grub screws to dive into, flat sided shafts ALWAYS manage to pop loose!
I did not see that comment. I'm replacing my phone soon so hope that fixes my notifications problem. I don't remember what gear I moved to get the gearbox to be fast but if it's not the same as you describe I will give it a try!
know it'll be a trick to locate it, to properly mesh the motor and the output shaft gear, 20,000 and 30,000 rpm 180 motors are cheap in eBay. after that its black plastic pipe to make short tires to fit WPL rims.
(access to something lathe would be helpful)
Gabriel Silvaz mentioned cutting axle+casing to be shorter, for getting the rims inside the wheel wells, like our slammed mini-trucks used to be, drop spindles and lowering blocks... and a btw.... if you use straight/flat B-1 frame rails you can probably put the leaf springs to the underside of the axles, double them to be stiffer because there'd only be 1/8" suspension travel, but it'll drop it on down! another option is putting a shorter plastic to both sides of the metal one, will stiffen it right up too.
shortened axles does mean closer spacing between leaf springs, means narrower blocks (front rear and motor mount) to go between the frame rails for leaf springs to line up with their hangers.... got it all pictured mentally here pretty clearly for it to come up looking right, some minor creative butchery. already know the "locked diff" WPL axles can controlled drift, seen video of one running on ice.

The b36 is so far my favorite 6x6 they have. The details are great for the price. Not to mention metal gears in axle and proportional steering if you get the rtr.
Question, are the trucks water proof or did you plasti-dip the the electronics.

Found your channel from the Banngood reviews from the B24:D Im asking that: should i get this (B24CH) or B36? What would be better for offroad and which has more power? Also, can i drive them on water about 3 centimeter/about 1 inch when stock or in snow/wet conditions without any uprages? And last question: Do they have the power to climb or go offroad well? And EDIT: When you press the throttle little bit, does the car go full speed or can you also go slow with it?
In Ready to run form I would say the b36. It has bigger motor than Ready to run b24. If you get or find kit versions and add your own electronics they are both good. They are both proportional throttle and steering in ready to run form. I would not drive the RTR in water at all. All my electronics are waterproof or waterproofed by me.
And at some point i will probably uprage the motor/transmission so do you have any suggestions for new transmission and motor kit with only slow mode or 2 speeds? And if i need also to change some other things like electronics or metal drivetrain if i uprage the motor/transmission, could you send links to them? And also some speak about that i need to change the controller and the ESC if upraging drive motor, so can i do it somehow with my LaTrax Teton controller, ESC cause it has broken motor so not using them at the moment? I will probably buy the B36 RTR from my local shop cause it has only the RTR but if i buy parts no matter if they are not from my country. Also, thanks for the answer to last question.

You can probably use your Teton electronics. If your going to upgrade to a 2 speed then you will need to upgrade to metal driveshafts and a 3 channel transmitter or you will have to shift manually(I use flysky gt3c hack firmware). I have no experience with the metal reduction gearbox but I hear they are good if you only need to go slow. The B36 RTR is fun as is. But with the upgrades it's just as fun as a hobby grade Rc for the fraction of the cost! I go to ebay, amazon, Banggood and some other online retailer. Here are links to my b36 upgrades. Awesome truck trial. What do you use for waterproof. I have wpl b36.
I use this rubber coating called plasti dip. I have a waterproofing video on this rig. Same electronics as the b36 so you can follow that waterproof video you can click the video at end.
Do these rtr come with proper steering servos? I'm going to get a couple of these for my wife and myself but since my budget is tight I'd like to get them with a steering servo already installed
The B36 and B24zh both come with 3 wire proportional servos in kit or RTR form.
@@RunThatRC ohh boy that means I'm going to have to live with that horrible embarrassing steering noise for almost a month until that board with the servo connection and the servo get here😭
@@gabrielpichardo1492 if you got the B36 or B24zh you will have the hobby grade servo. No noise like older RTR so you will be ok.

Wauw, you waterproofed these right? What a lovely spot to run them. Told you the b24's engine is more powerfull that you think! B36 had some upgrades? They look great out there, Run that RC!! How long do your batteries last?
The 1000mah 2s lipo in the b36 last about 25 mins battling water currents and about 40 mins just driving around. The b24 has a 800mah 2s lipo and is lighter and last about the same as the b36 with 1000mah. B36 has all metal driveshafts, updated center axle and 2 speed gearbox
@@RunThatRC Aah battery upgraded.Might need to do that to. 1500s maybe towing trailers.
@@SPEEDTER601 I don't own a 1500mah 2s but the 1000mah is a tight fit. 1500mah might be too big. I recommend routing your battery cable to the comms bed. And run like a 3000mah 2s back there. should give it good weight down low and good runtime as well.

what you mean by lock tite the grub screws... glue the screws... which ones?
Any screw you use that goes into metal parts or threads. I use medium strength loctite. Make sure to use a thread locker and not glue so you can service the axles and parts.

None of the wpl stuff is waterproof out the box but it is easy enough to make it waterproof. I have some vids for waterproofing on my playlist if you wanna check it out.

Yes except I took the wimpy 130 motor out and replace with 180 size kit motor. And I waterproofed electronics.
