I think most of the Americans don’t realize that most of there country names came from the Spanish who were there before USA even exist as a country

About lunch and dinning times… well our time is the same as Germany even if we are right under the UK. Man I live in the east coast and the greenwich meridian passes right here. So having lunch at 2 pm would be like 12 sun wise 🤷🏻‍♂️
    Edit: typos.

    We started bad,
"Latin American" "Latino" "latam" ... those terms are black legends, they have very bad intentions (political) and are false. I already know that in the US every university, from Harvard to the most unknown, teaches courses on LATIN AMERICAN COLONIES every year. It's hard to lie anymore with two words. They were neither colonies nor are they Latin American.
Mexico is an American country, Spain is European, possibly the oldest nation in Europe. Furthermore, despite its relative small size, it is very varied in customs, food, landscape, etc. In a few kilometers it changes completely. It is difficult to say what the typical Spanish food dish is because there are hundreds of them, in each region, town, there is one or several different ones. The same in dances, customs, traditional clothing, even various languages (Galician, Basque, Catalan, Spanish, Valencian, etc.)
Gringos tend to "forget" that the Spanish were the first to arrive in America and when they celebrate Jamestown as the first European settlement in America they "forget" that at that time the Spanish had already founded, literally, more than a THOUSAND cities (35 today are world heritage), universities, hospitals, temples, schools, ports, roads, irrigation, bridges,... The Spanish arrived in America 200 years before the English and a large part of the current USA spoke Spanish 150 years before the English.
The "American" mustang horse is a descendant of the horses that the Spanish brought to America, the cow boys use the saddle, which the Spanish used, the carts of the (false) conquest of the West are of Spanish origin, several flags of US states are of Spanish origin, as are the names of multiple towns, states, etc.
To a large extent, the "independence" of the United States was due to Spain and the Spanish, they are the ones who financed, armed, passed on information and shed blood to free them, without Spanish help their "independence" would not have been possible, at least at that time. moment.
The dollar is a copy of the Spanish eight real, the Spanish silver currency that was used throughout the world and from which the dollar copied even the "$" symbols.

Most of those Spanish traditions only apply to the south. Like 95% of them lol. In the north they're way different.

7:30 This is not true. The origin of "siesta" (nap?) is because in the past (when women still worked at home) most of men had 2 works, one in the morning, and another on the afternoon, and "siesta" was the way to make a break: go to work, lunch at home about 14 or 15h, then a short nap, then go to the second work, and finally dinner about 22-23h It finished the second.
    That's the Truth.
    Saludos desde Madrid, Spain!
