This was the first time we have ever done any outdoor filming. Sorry about the audio quality - it is something we hope to improve for the next time we do something like this.
The twin missing his arm lost it during a reenactment with a cannon. He kept sculpting minis with his prosthetic. I always loved their sculpts. They had personality.
Lovely pair of guys.
A pair if legends with a fantastic miniature line of their own... absolutely loved this.
Legends indeed.
Great interview, thanks! I am a huge fan of the Perrys, I have a ton of their GW sculpts from the 80s, plus many boxes of their plastic WotR figures. Such lovely chaps too!
Lovely guys.
Franco-Prussian War is interesting due to the rise (and fall) if the Paris Commune. It would be nice to see a box of Communards in this range.
Communards on LP?
Perry Brothers such great artist!!😃
Indeed they are.
Very well done. Gotta love the Perry's! Great guys and great minis! 👍
Yeah, great guys.
Excellent interview ! Huge fan of the Perry’s and own far too many of their beautiful miniatures :) keep up the great videos
Glad you enjoyed it, we are hoping to get some proper interviews with them.
Great interview and looking forward to the rest of the series :)
More to come!
Me and my friends here in Sweden say that Perry miniatures are always the right choice.
Makes sense.
Perry bro.very cool. I just started some WOR armies with Perry range. Never worked with the kits before. Been at it for about 4 months now. About 100 infantry and 12 cavalry. Something different then my 40 K and Minifigs, The Perry Bros. always interested in what they are up too.
And they are still keeping busy with new stuff it seems - which is great to know.
Black powder and hail Caesar is appealing…if I were only into the periods.
hahaha
Great interview. Their passion for wargaming really comes across. The Perry WotR models are very nice even for a joe average painter like me :)
Couldn't agree more!
Great interview 👍
Gkad you liked it mate.
I completely forgot they did minis for GW, I still have a set of the original LOTR fellowship including Bill the Pony.
Oh Jonny B loves the oldhammer stuff - he loves these guys.
This is fantastic
Glad to be of service mate.
Love this kind of content :-)
More interviews incoming.
Nice one guys.
Thanks! 😃
Fascinating interview✌️👍😊
A hobby I always wanted to try - my brother used to do LoTR type figures - my hobbies took me in other directions, although certain techniques I migrated across to railway modelling and ships/boats etc.
Good to see the chaps on "How It's Made" too ✌️👍😊
Re WWI I'm reminded of "Haig" (played by Geoffrey Palmer- in Blackadder Goes Forth/Fourth) and his war gaming using a dust pan and brush. That's tptb/elite for you clueless, in charge etc. A very esoteric and "spiritual" (occult) war, as indeed was WWII - both massive blood sacrifices and lots of money made in certain quarters. Also the knowledge gained re weapons and medicine has been used against us ever since via Operation Paperclip et al too😳😳
Perry Brothers were great guys to meet and chat with.
Absolute legends those two... Love everything they do. THAT SAID, I would actually like to have a word with the absolutely hateful individual at Perrys that puts that damned cotton wool in the boxes with the minis! It's a NIGHTMARE to remove!!
Haha. good point.
How many cigars did you smoke on Saturday? Funny every time we went for a brew, there you were..lol fun video.
Hahaha yeah, I do tend to chain them!
looking forward too the russian uhlans too
They sound great
Stoke Field was 1487. 😊
Did we say something different in the video?
@@ModellingforAdvantage not that I noticed,.. but in your video description it says 1587.
@@CheckYourLeaderTV Typo, thanks for pointing it out! I fixed that.
Great interview 👍
Cheers mate
