Good thing someone from Prince's camp was there to assure her that it was actually him on the phone. I've heard other celebrities talk about Prince calling them out of the blue and they hung up, thinking someone was playing a joke on them. Really sad that he passed away before she got a chance to work with him in a major way. I can't think of a better tutor any young performer could hope for.

I was listening to Shelby J give an interview, and she said similar about not feeling alone - she said before she goes out on stage for a show, she says a little prayer and asks Prince to walk with her onto the stage. And she said she actually feels his presence with her. Prince was strong in life. All 5ft 2 in of him. And he has a strong spirit too. God made Prince short on purpose so that he wouldn’t go into the NBA.
