Randomizing the buttons is insane. Imagine if it wasn't limited to the Ocarina, and you had to find the A Button just to open a door lol

There is a Zelda maker game that literally has this... you can push up, and Link is a box that says "Link", you don't even have a life meter so you die in one hit, that's it.

when it comes to zelda on n64 no two words scare me more than silver rupees so having that thrown in there ontop of keysanity and everything else was incredible

It's not truly randomized until you randomize the game's ROM.
Entrance randomizers is like half the fun of ocarina of time randomizers. I actually only really enjoy doing them myself if all the entrances are randomized. It’s a lot harder to get frustrated that I’m getting lost if there’s an extremely good reason for it. Think my favorite randomizer was when I had the sacred forest meadow lead into the hyrule castle outskirts, that way the only way to get to the forest temple, or ganons castle was through the minuet of forest. And I realized it was the case before finding the song because I had been everywhere else and kinda mapped out the world already. (It was an oot 3D rando in case this isn’t possible on oot rando)
Bro....the way you just toss it in the trash right away lmao. This was truly amazing to watch. As a pretty well-versed player I was totally blown away by this. Amazing work dude.

Locations randomized has to be the most infuriating part of this whole experience. I'd be fine with everything else. That sounds like a fun challenge. But having locations randomized would just ruin the fun for me. Glad you're doing it so I don't have to.

It is in the fort of Gerudo fortress in the kid timeline; meaning this could of been displaced ANYWHERE in the kid timeline. Meaning Ocarina Of Time could be %101'd with this randomizer.
Imagine being Link and not only having to beat Majora AND Ganon, but also being literally unable to trust the landscape, fighting buttons in chests, and there being no monsters until you find their "souls."

Never watched any Zelda randomized runs before, infact was never really interested in the older games all that much. But when this video got recommended to me i got curious to how much could be randomized. In the end im really satisfied with watching this, was a lot of fun. Will definetly watch more!
I knew it would happen! They've finally gotten to the buttons! Soon, it'll be every function in the game. Randomized action buttons (not just the ocarina notes, you're not pausing or opening chests until you find the buttons), randomized pause screens, maybe even dialogue options! Throw NPC souls in there as well, that one actually sounds fun.
I went from playing dark souls 3 to over here with zelda and getting ptsd .

At the very start I half expected a "And all the words will be randomized that's right the words themselves, and If I want to receive anything from a chest I have to piece together the sentence itself."
Randomizing every exit, every item, every BREAKABLE, Every item, every key, Every ENEMY SOUL (which i didn't even know you could do), AND even throwing the ocarina buttons out there.
