TWA Commercials 1987 Find Out How Good We Really Are

These were two (2) TWA Commercials that were running in 1987 as part of the Today's TWA campaign. The slogan was "Find Out How Good We Really Are." These commercials were from the March 1987 Ambassador Theatre.

TWA always has and always will have a most special place in my heart. It was the airline of my childhood from New York to Florida, Milan and Barcelona to visit family and vacation.

TWA was also the airline that my family chose in the late 1980's and early 1990's before the our state income tax swallowed up the funds for our summer California vacations. We always felt that we were treated like kings, even though we were just paying "tourist" fares.

This takes me back to the late 1980s and early 1990's when my family used to fly TWA. We chose them because they were the first to offer a frequent flier bonus program with non-expiring miles.

@BrownBrother27 No, the people in the first commercial were all employees. TWA ran a casting call and had employees portray themselves in the commercial. They hoped to get around having to pay actors by having employees "act" instead. In the end, TWA did have to pay each person in the commercial each time the commercial was aired, just as though would have had to do if they would have hired "real actors."

1987 was the year when they started the berlin - new York Service reaching the Peak in 1989 with the igs Service from berlin. Wonderful memories ..as a former employee Wonderful People working for that legacy carrier
