Making a Lamp From Old Sweaters | Thrift Flip

In this video, I’m upcycling a hanging pendant light using yarn. I found this pendant lamp at a hotel liquidation store, which is a business that sells used hotel furnishings. I have been wanting to use the yarn-wrapping technique in a lighting project, so I figured this was the perfect lamp to try it out on. The yarn I’m using is upcycled from secondhand sweaters, so this is a fully upcycled process!

It's so beautiful! I upcycle sweaters too, but usually I knit new pieces with the yarn I've saved. Will be thinking about lighting a lot in the future though!
