With Zaeros Minimap, the pokenav turns into a potato, but is in my modpack too. Very nostalgic and dope to see the team on the background. Almost all of your tips are on my modpack, but some not. I recommend take a look at Cobbleit, which shows the pokemons types when close to them aiming the cursor. Also, Item Balls, Loot Balls and Cobble Loot are very complementary to enhance the drops when exploring. The first two, if Im not wrong, adds pokeballs around to loot like the games, and the last adds the cobblemon loots to the chest pool, on mineshafts and vanilla drops. I also recommend Myths and Legends, which I think adds most of the legendaries, but not that easy to get like on Legendary Structures, which is way less pokemons but better implemented mechanics to get them, in my opinion. Last but not least, Cobblenests is a very promising one, but needs to be updated. Its very cool, generating nests thats similar to the outbreaks. Its on Beta, and can be found on the cobblemon discord. I would recommend adding the datapacks dungeons and taverns and terralith, to further improve exploration. They both work perfect with the mod, and with the Cobble Loot, its even more rewarding to find cobblemon itens on new biomes and structeres, vanilla based. Very light datapacks.
Heads up if you're using Forge don't do the loot ball mod look for the datapack for it instead, same concept but works for forge the other one is fabric.
if i already started a world and want to add mods like: cobblemon trainers, cobble towns, legendary pokemon, will it have to regenerate the world/will my players lose their progress/have to restart?
You shouldn't lose your progress or regenerate the world. I have added mods after already starting a world and it didn't cause any problems for me. I think some of the new structures just may be only in chunks that haven't been loaded yet but I'm not 100% on that
How do you get the cobblemon icons showing on the minimap with the shiny particles? I only have the dots and I have tried setting the entity icons to always.

when you find oak's lab you could give yourself a starter but only one per lab sense you know over powered and once you fully evolve a starter you could change it to a lv.5 starter of a different gen of the same type like water gen 1 to water gen 4 but NOT water gen 4 to fire gen 2

@@itaysamra1117 You will usually create a modding folder. On curseforge it allows you to make it pretty easily. If you open up your folder with Minecraft as well there should be a mods folder and you can just add them there.

Terralith is definitely an amazing mod for this as if you add myth and legends, you can get a lot of legendary spawning items

Yes you can! You can download them from modrinth and then open your modding folder on curseforge and then add it directly to the mods file there

How do you add mods?
You can do it the same way you added Cobblemon. Typically through either modrinth or curseforge is the easiest way.
