sure wish i watched this video hours a go...bought my son an e300s years a go that he didnt ride too much till the batteries would no longer charge..it sat in garage i think like 8-10 years when i decided to buy new batteries and bring it back to life so he could drive it to work..opened it up and both batteries were bulging and both tires were flat...took to friend who is a mechanic so i could air up the tires...he also ended up cutting wires to the batteries and adding new connectors like you did...air up front tire then get to the dreaded back tire...he had several size adapters but none would fit...so off with the rear tire which was an hour long job oiled up chain and she is charging now 6 hours but it runs again...damn sure wish i knew the air extender was in the grip...looked at mine and it was there...DAMN i never knew...good video to reference if ever needed

Chain should have a little bend or give to it. Not tight with no give. It beats up the motor like that.

Charging light that stays green usually means the batteries are bad because they are so low they won't take a charge at all.

      Indeed. Both were junk!

@@GreggAdventure Yes, but you were able to give that razor another chance to make itself useful before it got thrown to the smelter! 👍👍

Indeed! That’s always the goal. I hate to see fun stuff tossed to the curb like trash. I enjoy giving new life to stuff

Hey is that all the speed that the scooter has

No, I was barely on the throttle. I’m a bit heavy for it. It moves reasonably but isn’t super fast.

Why I asked is because I have a e100 I'm working on myself , someone trew it out but I'm almost finished jus to change out the batterys now and give it a run.btw very informative vid thanks.

A common thing I have found dealing with razor scooters is that their controllers are probably the worst that money can buy, because they seem to make a habit, somehow, of killing one of the batteries. This makes their weak-assed motors even less effective, and the batteries lose power real fast.

Replacing the battery looks simple in the video but removing the old welded on battery wasn't addressed!

It’s just soldered on. Melt it off with a Solder gun, or just snip them off and re-splice the wire. ✌🏻
