The way I cut mine is without a hammer - I just put in a blunter knife, like a butter knife with more surface area on the tip, and then holding the ballistic with one hand I wiggle the two halves apart with the other hand if that makes sense? Sort of swaying the knife in a way that would force the two halves to separate. Works just as well, less noise and mess!
just went to lush for the first time and wanting to maximize product use....thanks for sharing - i think i will find a putty knife of sorts - hubby would definitely not want me using his chef knives....

So u dont clean ur knife between the prducts? dont u think like if u cut dorothy then pop in the bath ur not scared that dorothy smell will get onto the pop in the bath?

when u cut things from lush put it on a wax paper on the board cuz the oil from the bar will go on the cutting board and make other bars squishy

Some of the bath bombs you can't cut in half because there is stuff in the center.
