Time to be honest, the Dark knight has one problem that's consistent throughout the Dark knight trilogy. It's that damn voice that Christian Bale used for Batman, the one area where Affleck beats Bale in my opinion.
With the exception of Joker, 2 Nolan Batman films and Wonder Woman, DC doesn't have many stellar films to compete with MCU or Logan and Deadpool. Granted, DC's few greats are amongst the best of the genre but they're riddled with more failures than winners.
Also, the difference btwn the first two Spider-Man movies and the MCU are the fact that they have to make a REAL important choice: save a life or stop the villain. Tobey's movies, he had to save Mary Jane from getting killed, but the first time he had to make a choice btwn her and a bunch of kids. Andrew's first movie, really, he just needed to stop the gas from spreading. His second movie, he had to protect Gwen towards the end. But she was practically acting like a work in progress Mary Sue. weasel batches but I do think their is at least 1 guy some where in the world that is just as ad as Arthur but became that fro different reasons and random kids bashing someone for no one isn’t overkill. It shows bullying that happens all over the world.
My personal favorites: 1. The Dark Knight 2. Joker 3. Spider-Man 2 4. Batman Begins 5. The Dark Knight Rises 7. Spider-Man 8. Endgame 9. Infinity War 10. Iron Man 11. Batman 89
The trailer came just a few months after Endgame where everyone was talking about Marvel shit and then suddenly, *gasp*, an actual good movie with an Oscar winning actor under the guise of a superhero movie? Woah dude, this is revolutionary! Combine that with the media bringing attention to it and all the memes, and you get everyone talking about this movie, and it made a billion dollars. The movie's actually really mediocre though. They hired a really good actor and he gave a really good performance, doesn't say anything about the creative process though. And they hired a good composer. And a good cinematographer, but those people could be put on any movie and do a good job unrelated to the context of the movie. The script is really weak, the twist with the girlfriend could be seen from a mile away, everyone's cartoonishly mean. There's no real themes other than society's bad? What does it say about human nature? Whats the philosophical conflict? It's just a mentally ill guy being beaten by everyone and then he becomes evil. That's what happens all the time. What's the interesting angle that it takes? It's just another mediocre soulless comic book movie that hides behind an R rating and meme culture.
ThatCringeCalledIggleboz yeah, it’s definitely nowhere as near as complex or as deep as some people claim it to be. And like I said, it’s not a bad film necessarily, I just don’t think it lived up to the hype. Like you said, this film definitely had a lot going for it. With the amazing actors, composers etc, but the plot (like you said) is pretty simplistic. One of the major flaws I had with this movie is that it really only felt like a Joker movie in the last 10 minutes. I’m not saying that character development isn’t important, it absolutely fucking is, but I’m not gonna lie when i say it felt like it dragged on for a bit too long (maybe that’s just me, I’m not too sure if anyone else thinks the same thing) but overall, I quite liked the movie. It wasn’t the masterpiece everyone was claiming it to be, it wasn’t hot garbage either though. It’s definitely not my favourite R-Rated movie, but I’ve definitely seen far worse movies than this one.
With just a few minutes of thought (There are many I have not scene): 10.) Superman 9.) Man of Steel 8.) Superman II 7.) Batman ‘89 6.) Spider-Man 2 5.) The Joker 4.) The Crow 3.) Guardians of the Galaxy 2.) Avengers: Infinity War 1.) The Dark Knight
I gotta go with X Men: First Class. I love how much they make Eric someone you actively want to win. While also making you feel for Charles. I also live how grounded in reality is as the mission is to stop the Cuban Missile Crisis (and Shaw but he created the crisis)
10. Deadpool 9. TMNT 1990 8. Infinity war 7. Joker 6. Spiderman 2 5. The Dark Knight 4. Batman 89 3. James Gunns The Suicide Squad 2. Into the Spiderverse 1. Batman: Mask of the phantasm
I would have added the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's movie on my list....It's like the only genuinely good Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's movie other then the 2007 one and Netflix ROT TMNT movie's are pretty good as well
10. X Men 2 9. Kick Ass 8. Deadpool 2 7. Infinity War 6. Logan 5. The Incredibles 4. Spider Man 2 3. The Dark Knight Rises 2. The Dark Knight 1. Batman Begins
I think the fact that he didn’t feel like the joker made the movie better because you see I think it’s great how he’s a regular person in the beginning and slowly becomes THE JOKER and it really shows how a regular person can one day snap because of one bad day.
Solid list. These are my favorites. 1. Joker 2. The Dark Knight 3. Man of Steel 4. Logan 5. The Dark Knight Rises 6. Avengers: Endgame 7. Spider-Man 2 8. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 9. X2 10. Avengers: Infinity War 11. Deadpool 12. Batman Begins 13. Thor: Ragnarok 14. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 15. Watchmen 16. Guardians of the Galaxy 17. X-Men: Days of Future Past 18. The Avengers 19. Deadpool 2 20. Wonder Woman
I literally have all of these movies on 4K blu ray cause they're all awesome. Also tbh Man of Steel should get an honorable mention, it's one of those Superhero movies that does not get enough credit and it delivers on many levels and is a very good Superman origin story. Edit: Have you heard of The Crow? Literally one of the best comic book/superhero movies ever with Brandon Lee.
Although they may have thier problems I have loved the Tim Burton Batman movie's for my entire life because it's was introduced me to the character that as well as the 90's Batman animated series,Lego game's and the Dark Night trilogy....It also makes me wish that Tim Burton got to do one more Batman film because Batman forevor was just ok but Batman and Robin was the 1st super hero movie that I hated with a passion....And I was 6 when I 1st wached it 😂
I fucking love you for putting Spiderman 1 because the Sam raimi trilogy will ALWAYS be god tier unlike the time Holland movies. Spiderman 2 on the other hand was actually more better tho
For Me 10. Spider-Man 9. Aquaman 8. Batman Begins 7. Infinity War 6. 300 5. Superman 4. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World 3. Into the Spider-Verse 2. Joker 1. The Dark Knight
My list 1:Joker 2019 2:The dark knight 3:Logan 4:infinity war 5:captain America winter soldier 6:Avengers ENDGAME 7:man of steel 8:captain America civil war 9:Thor ragnarok 10: Superman the movie
The dark knight while all that greatness is going around in the movie it subtly drops an origin story for two-face who is the final act of Jokers plan.
I feel like the main problem with that Batman movie was it’s lack of understanding for the character of Batman. I feel like they just didn’t get Batman as a character
Joker showed up on this list three times. Good choices though. I think Arthur Fleck seems so different from the rest of the Jokers because that movie is from the Joker's perspective. Its what he thinks of himself. He thinks he is making that kid on the bus happy, and his mom is just being a little bitch about it.

It’s definitely not my favourite R-Rated movie, but I’ve definitely seen far worse movies than this one.
agreed. Take away the joker and batman related stuff and it would be the exact same movie
Me too,it was good but not that great.
@@omegacatdestroyer5634 It was a masterpiece for me
No X-men? Not that I’d change any of the entries, but maybe do more than ten? IDFK. My favorite is Logan third with TDK. Least favorite is Daredevil
Good vid my dude
With just a few minutes of thought (There are many I have not scene):
10.) Superman
9.) Man of Steel
8.) Superman II
7.) Batman ‘89
6.) Spider-Man 2
5.) The Joker
4.) The Crow
3.) Guardians of the Galaxy
2.) Avengers: Infinity War
1.) The Dark Knight
I gotta go with X Men: First Class. I love how much they make Eric someone you actively want to win. While also making you feel for Charles. I also live how grounded in reality is as the mission is to stop the Cuban Missile Crisis (and Shaw but he created the crisis)
What about Into The Spider-Verse?
He said no animated movies.
I love how he gets straight to the point and doesn’t do any long stupid intro with no sponsors or giveaways
Props to my man for having Scott Pilgrim on the list
The Scott pilgrim books make Romona a better character as imo she is not that good in the film while she is amazing in the books.
Spider-Man 2 is my favorite superhero movie and likely always will be. Better than everything in the MCU, amazing.

I would have added the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's movie on my list....It's like the only genuinely good Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's movie other then the 2007 one and Netflix ROT TMNT movie's are pretty good as well

Bro, ur are a genius and I love how u actually like good movies. Not many people left like that
I love how you chose to play each movies music when you discussed it. Nice!
I think the fact that he didn’t feel like the joker made the movie better because you see I think it’s great how he’s a regular person in the beginning and slowly becomes THE JOKER and it really shows how a regular person can one day snap because of one bad day.
i love first superman movie and watchmen too
My favorite comic book movie will forever be Spiderman Into The Spiderverse. I hope its upcoming sequel can be just as amazing.
We all know Ghost Rider starring Nicolas Cage is the top of superhero movie cinema
That movie needed a R rating.
Moe Lester I agree, he was suppose to get a Hulu series but it’s not going to happen
Goku2241 Damn that would have been cool.

BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOUR deserves some attention too
I literally have all of these movies on 4K blu ray cause they're all awesome.
No intro, no outro. Staright in staright out. No fuckin around😂😂love it
Although they may have thier problems I have loved the Tim Burton Batman movie's for my entire life because it's was introduced me to the character that as well as the 90's Batman animated series,Lego game's and the Dark Night trilogy....It also makes me wish that Tim Burton got to do one more Batman film because Batman forevor was just ok but Batman and Robin was the 1st super hero movie that I hated with a passion....And I was 6 when I 1st wached it 😂
Hellohellohello
No Infinity War? I think it's in my top 3 now. Also, no Blade? I loved the original Blade. Unfortunately I know Disney is going to fuck it up.
I love Tim burton films he’s my favorite director
I fucking love you for putting Spiderman 1 because the Sam raimi trilogy will ALWAYS be god tier unlike the time Holland movies. Spiderman 2 on the other hand was actually more better tho
Road to Perdition should've been on the list.

Lugit36 thank you for replying
For me, The Batman and TMNT 1990 are definitely up there
I've been waiting for this video.
I already know what number 1 is.
The dark knight while all that greatness is going around in the movie it subtly drops an origin story for two-face who is the final act of Jokers plan.
For me it is the dark knight rises
Exactly how I felt when watching the joker still a great movie
Glad V for Vendetta made it
I’m surprised not many people are mentioning Dredd (2012). I thought that movie was pretty awesome.
Batman is your favorite super hero?
A man of culture I see
I didn’t agree with alot of that list but I do agree with iron man
I feel like the main problem with that Batman movie was it’s lack of understanding for the character of Batman.
