Popo. Hypothetically speaking, if you’re in an accident and you have a video, what do you say to the police? “ hey, wanna sit in my vette to see the video of the accident? “. Am uncertain on the Protocol.
Yeah pretty much 😂 just tell the officer that you have dash cam footage. Play it for him. I would consider keeping a card reader in your glove box just so you can quickly pull footage to a phone if you needed to.
😮 any idea I let my son borrow my C8 to take his daughter to the father daughter dance, and I have a set up to record every time the car comes on and he said he had a near head on collision and had to fully engaged the ABS brakes he brought the car home, no damage, no wreck, but he wanted to show me where this girl had just gone in his lane head on and we went to play it. It’ll only play for five seconds the previous recordings each time he drives out of the driveway, leaving here to go to the place and driving home they all recorded perfectly. You can watch the 11 minute whole recording but for that one video it’s only five seconds and it won’t load would GM have it locked the card if you were in an accident or the ABS’s were fully engaged?
Thanks for your video, I am having trouble with the sd card showing up on my iPad and iPhone. Other cards show up but the one I have pdr recordings on show nothing. the other cards from my drone laptop etc are sandisk and work on my iPad and phone, while the one I use in the c8 is onn I bought new from Walmart and only use in the vette. I am wondering if I should buy a sandisk card and try it in the car. it is weird because I can plug it into to my laptop and it shows up

Odd question. I seen the 2024 1LT can now be equipped with a PDR. Can these be installed by the dealer AFTER you receive a 2024 C8 without it?
Unfortunately that is not something that can be dealer installed.
Do you need to put in the sad card first before PDR comes up on menu ?
No, the PDR will be visible on the menu without adding as n SD card. But I think the LT1 model doesn’t come with the PDR feature.
