Got mine 2 weeks ago and love it, same model and colour. Doesn’t wheel spin unless you are over zealous on the accelerator. Haven’t figured how to get the clock on the screen though
Fun video to watch! The MG really is, in my opinion an EV with a good range, fine interior and enough space inside. And all that, for quite little money, compared to other EVs. It doesnt look to futuristic, but you still can see that it is an EV or something new. Nice Video :)
The button next to the parking brake you described as engine auto start/off is actually Auto Hold. That's why the car didn't roll when you lifted your foot off the brake pedal earlier in the video. Hope this helps 😄

I Have the model before and I love it. Would just like to change the infotainment system to the new one. The older one doesn't have any extra information on the centre console
Really nice POV. I drove one for a week and, as a Tesla owner, I think the MG ZS EV is pretty good (I have videos) and is excellent value for money. A very good EV and the seats are very comfortable too.

Looks and seems practical. I'm concerned about the wheel spin, say that you're turning a corner and there's some loose gravel/sand, would that be a major concern for say a 'spin out'?
No, in this review I was kinda enthusiastic on the throttle to demonstrate the behavior. Nevertheless I have the feeling you could loose grip when not paying attention, the torque is bigger than the grip and the traction control is to slow to counter that. So I suggest you test that for yourself if you plan on buying one. Thanks for watching!

I've test driven the Hyundai Kona electric and was impressed with the featutes/technology on offer, the only downside is the "rear passenger seating" as its cramped in my opinion and also lacks rear A/C vents.
I've had my ZS EV LR Mk2 (alphabetty spaghetti here) for about 6 months now and if you drive the car without using the full performance, it is fine on any surface. You will make good progress with normal traffic and the regenerative braking makes things really easy.That said, if you get a german manufactured car, sitting on your boot, the power and torque will give you a lot of space extremely quickly! Over the past day or so, turning the air-con on a few minutes before getting to the car is just great! It is cooler than outside and more importantly, dehumidified. As is the heated front screen in the winter! So in the summer you get a cool car and in the winter a warm one, with no ice. Turn the heated seats on and whats not to like?
Looks like a solid electric "luxury" car for city driving at a great price. If the seat lowest position is really poor alike to Hyundai Kona or Kia Niro that'll be a deal breaker for me.
maybe it is fixed in the meanwhile. I heard MG does upgrades along the way, while the cars are already in production. So a 2022 MG ZS EV isn't necessarily the exact same as a 2023 version. 😄
In the past I changed my Mercedes every 2 years. My sales guys and managers had Mercedes if they wanted them. I've also had Range Rovers, Discovery's, Audi's and so on. When the bean counters got control of Mercedes, quality took a nose dive. I also had (alongside the Mercs) Suzuki 4x4's for about 20 years or so. My last Merc a B Class AMG broke down in the first week of ownership, my previous one broke down several times and it took an independent Merc specialist to fix the issue. The dealer could not find the problem! It was something to do with a throttle body - sounded like a crime to me. The Suzuki's never missed a beat. So I threw away the badge snobbery and bought my MG ZS EV LR Mk2 (phew, lots of letters there) and think it is better than the Audi Hybrid, I hired on my recent holiday. It may have some shortcomings but you can't beat the value for money! The range is more than good enough for most people.
I have a strange question. I hope to get one (though the waiting list is enormous. In Thailand where I live, the MG ZS EV is a connected car which I don't like. I have some chats with people on this and the question now is where the antennas for this are because I want to be able to disconnect them. Any idea?

Swipe down from the upper side of the screen and press ‘screen off’ if the screen turns dark, change it in settings :)
Yes, the wheel spin demo was mainly to show that the ESC system is not capable to take it all out.

It is the best EV for the money. It’s even cheaper than the much smaller Honda e. But I would have more fun in the Honda :)
