Get yourself an ice fishing sled to use on the water to haul traps and catch out. I like it for setting and pulling days. They pull decent across dry ground too if you need to walk some. Great day trapping!
@@ZackHaynie you can use a scale set trap on scale then with a stick push down on pan read at what wieght its goes off. They do sell a pan tension scale. Another reason could be it's not bedded solid.
Only down side to your vids is not dispatching the critters right away then doing the talky talky after. Trapping is a hard dollar, usually wet and cold.
What do u do with all the animals after you dispatch them and bring them wherever do you eat the meat and use the hides or just use the hides and throw away the meat just curious love your videos keep them rolling stay safe and blessed 👋👍😎

I just started watching trapper j. I have watched flair for a while and both are underrated
My 3rd day in a row missing a bobcat... what am I doing wrong? It steps on the pan and all then I get there and the trap is set off and up
Check your pan tension you want a minimum of 2 pounds
