Great video! I did this trail as my only backpacking trip so far in June 2020. Due to storm with lightening, I ended up spending 2 nights at Bourne. It was a great trip (including black bear sighting!) and plan to repeat it this summer.
Awesome video, the filming was beautiful. Can't beat fall colors in New England! Your blog post and video inspired me to undertake a similar hike...Bourne Pond at sunrise and sunset was something else. The trail from the falls up to the pond was definitely interesting at times!
pfff... man... I wish this coronavirus time ends soon... I need to cross el charco (the "pool" as we say in Spanish), the Atlantic and get lost in Vermonth, Maine... amazing Nature! Congrats for your channel!
Thanks! Those are patella straps to help my knees track properly while hiking. I messed up my knees pretty back in the Marines, so hiking is always a struggle, but worth it. Enjoy your trip!
I'm planning on doing this hike by myself in June and wanted to know if you thought the trail was well marked and if there were specific locations where we were allowed to camp
That is awesome, you are going to love it! I wouldn't say the trail was well marked with trail markers, but it was still pretty easy to follow. Although I heard that wasn't the case if you head north from Bourne Pond. As far as campsites, there are plenty of designated spots along Bourne Pond, and a few around Stratton Pond, as well as an Appalachian Trail shelter on the southeast side of Stratton Pond. I did a write up of the trip that you might find useful over at mapswithnoroads.com/home/3-days-alone-in-the-vermont-wilderness Good luck on your adventure! I'd love to hear about how it went when you get back. Reply back to this comment in June to let me know!
Did you do a loop hike ? Or in and out on the same trail ? I did an in and out there a few years ago. Very nice area and great job with this video ! Cheers
Thanks! I did a loop around the area. One of the best fall hikes I have done. Here's the full write up if you are interested: mapswithnoroads.com/home/3-days-alone-in-the-vermont-wilderness
Really nice video! I'm doing the same kind of videos! One thing that made me enjoy the video a bit less is that the music is sometimes a bit depressing in my opinion. Still a great video though!
Thank you!

It really is. Nothing else like it.
Beautifully filmed

Thanks for the tip! Finding music is one of the hardest parts for me. I'm digging your style. Where do you get your music from?
@@MapsWithNoRoads epidemicsound.com, I tend to select music in the happy, dreamy or relaxing as mood for finding my music🙂
