That grilled cheese chirp got me geeking, s/o Shane Gillis
Legit insane lol incredible recruiting video for ND as well (not that they needed it).
Jamernik should be doing professional PR. Amazing ambassador for ND.
When your locker room is better than the Calgary Flames.
Fr
And arena lol
Got nothing on the Yotes
When you think of Calgary as bottom line and not the Desert Dogs.
G big respect for you. Taking us behind the scenes Netflix style. Never before seen aspect of college hockey. Keep up the good work. Praying for your mom and girlfriend.
Of note. Ralph Engelstad provided the funds for the arena under the condition that the team never lose the name the Fighting Sioux.
Not true, unfortunately. That's an old wife's tale
He was also a Nazi fanatic and collector
@@scottstone3470it’s not
The name was changed years ago. Let it go, man.
@@arcadeshift5071 looks like they kept Sioux on the signs where the public doesn't normally get to see them.
8:27 a cultured dawg
“I’M NOT MAKING THEM AT NIGHT DAD”
In the end, this is a good program.
Oh, ok.
In the end, this galvanizes the boys before a game
In the end Michigan won.
@@jamesfox5105 Don't we always?
As a Boston guy I love seeing spicy cities and states getting shine like ND
As someone who grew up in Grand Forks, I'd call ND rusty not spicy 🤣
Jackson Blake is gonna be ELECTRIC in Carolina. Seth Jarvis 2.0 kids a monster on and off the puck
9:02 grinelli knocks the drink out of the poor guys hand lmao
I once kicked him out of a bar downtown. He was 1 ply and couldn’t hang
8$ drink btw thats me
I work at the Ralph and have met Louis dad. His dad comes from Calgary to watch him, super nice dude.
Here after Arizona State goalie TJ Semptimphelter confirmed he's transferring to UND in major part because of this video
Glad you loved the tour, Mikey. It’s a place that is the “gold standard” of college hockey 👍
Still can't believe they dropped the Fighting Sioux name and the head logo... best name logo, colors, brand in all of hockey imo
Welcome in 2024
What an amazing facility. Treat the players well and they will play for the staff. Simple in collegiate hockey and only a few do it, but most say they do. Great video, thanks for doing it. 😊
My son, who plays youth hockey, and I had the privilege of touring the Notre Dame locker room. Very similar in appearance and amenities for the players. He eventually was able to play a game on Notre Dame ice. It was a fantastic experience. This was an awesome piece. Great job. What I love is how much this player loves his team, coach, his family, his church, and is so humble at the same time. Respect!✊
My men's beer league plays at Notre Dame every Thursday, great arena. But we dont get to use the great locker rooms...lol.
@@Haulin_Larry 🤣🤣🤣🤣✊🙏
I came to the comments to say this similar thing. Notre Dame has a very similar lockerroom to the North Dakota lockerroom. I dare say, a tad better. Along with the commenter in this thread, I too play at Compton Arena on thursdays for the beer league. At the end of the season, the teams and family members get the opportunity to tour the lockerroom. I wish I could post pictures here but it is quite an impressive experience.
Born and raised EGF… There is nothing like the pride I feel for this arena and program. Lucky to have gotten to play, practice, and work out here growing up… Let alone go to every home game for years and years. SIOUX YEAH YEAH!!!
Wicked episode G and company keep it up these are frickin awesome !
They just keep getting better and better! Good job G
I was able to catch a game there last season… it is absolutely amazing!! The atmosphere is even better. Grand Forks is all about UND Hockey, such a great environment 💚
Grinnell is an absolute pro doing these interviews
Brutal at the them great guy but he sucks
@@liamoconnor9017 nail meet hammer
Unbelievable from top to bottom!!!! Literally top notch. I have to go there before I die!!!!!
6:07 the guy with the towel is me! 😂
Should have stopped by the Little Ralph in TRF. Nicest high-school rink in the country too.
Love how my grilled cheese clip made the cut. Honor having y’all down in the student section. Go Sioux!!
Hope u make grilled cheese better than u spell!! Ya Sioux Sioux!
Was it a shane gillis joke??? I NEED TO KNOW!!! 😅🤣
@@ItsSuperJan Ask Shane's uncle ;)
@@ItsSuperJanyes
Awesome stuff G. What a setup those boys have.
awesome episode, great work G!
This is an OUTSTANDING video! What a great place to be!
Palace on the Prairie, welcome to the Fighting Sioux family!
This is absolutely insane. Class act on the tour guide as well.
Pam can’t stop me from running. Hell of a vid boys
Well done G. Keep these cranking out, definitely upped my interest for the championship & frozen four this year. Hoping for a BC BU final that we can force to Whit to live stream
Jay Caufield broke his neck, then played hockey with Lemuiex, amazing!
Nice work G! It's a special place. Palace on the prairie
this is probably the coolest hockey video I have ever seen
This is by far the best thing spitting chiclets has done
Omg the “they make grilled cheese at night” chirp 😂😂. So happy Shane’s stories have evolved into this Let’s fucking gooooooo
so grateful to have grown up nearby the ralph. incredible stadium and incredible hockey. go UND!!
Uno on top bud
Great video, remarkable venue. Wow
Top End Content from the schnoz and Chiclets U. Well done boys!
I had the pleasure of watching a game from the student section. And playing in a tournament in that rink. Ill never forget it
UND alum here…. 1999-2003. Got the best of both worlds. Saw a National Championship, had 2 years in the Old Ralph which was legendary and 2 years at the New Ralph! I used to be inline e penalty box seats to! So glad the traditions are still alive!
we got beer and we got hockey 😂😂
Favorite team of college hockey. And I'm a player from eastern Massachusetts. Don't ever give up the "Sioux "
Awesome job G & Chiclets crew. Like G told me at Danny K’s Bar in Anaheim, Ca, “they will ALWAYS be the Sioux!”
Been to Danny K's a few times - it's a Husker football hangout
@@jimherbeck5645 great spot for some pool and to catch a game
Great job with these Grinnell
G, these are awesome. Keep them coming. It’s a shame they did away with the fighting Sioux logo!!
I forget how old I was but I went to a camp there for a week. Boarded at the university which was super cool and we got worked by the current players. It was such a cool experience. Unfortunately the arena didn't look like this when I was there. I mean the walls and history was but the skill room was different. I think the weight room was the same but I don't remember the other room attached. I think we saw the lockerroom but it wasn't this one that's for sure. Saw a lot of cool things and definitely an experience I'll never forget
Unbelievable. Nice job! Can't wait for the next one, maybe Minnesota, Michigan, or Denver???
This is crazy. Amazing place
This is the greatest culture and community in college hockey, the support and amenities are insane.
att boy G, keep the great BTS rolling buddy
As extravagant as this is, it's good for North America hockey. With a vibrant US college league it will just up the compete level and quality of hockey in general. They will match if not already surpass the Canadian feeder system (OHL, QMJHL, WHL)
This is awesome!
Louie is gonna wear the C next year.
I despise Grinnell but will tip my cap to him. Best one yet. He added a lot of value in the video without overdoing it. Keep it up.
Love that 😆
Man I love everything the chiclets guys are up to these days. What a brand they’ve built here man keep it going!
Really impressed with Jamernik. Not a huge hockey guy so I don’t know what his professional prospects are but I’m sure UND would love to keep him around in some future capacity. Well spoken and down to earth ambassador for the program.
Hes in aviation. If he was gonna go pro he would've chosen communications or something lmao. He'll probably be a pilot after school
Gotta do an episode at Michigan tech and Northern Michigan when they play the home and home series!!!!
What's great is seeing all the Fighting Sioux logos and theme's still present deep in the Ralph... The Engelstad's cannot be thanked enough for what they paid for a heck of a facility.
Too bad they squandered their chances again at a title this year.
Unbelievable job G! Just love this series…10/10.
Incredible video, atta boy Grinelll!
Nice "Mixer" drop G 😂
Enjoy that locker room, I hope they have a TV where thay can watch Michigan v Michigan State. Go Blue!
I love The Ralph. This place is better than any NHL facility
Oof. 🤡
@@goldfish3444 it obviously lacks in size compared to an NHL venue but it probably is one of the thee nicest arenas as far as quality and finishes.
100K VIEWS in 24hr congrats mike !
That's an insanely nice facility.
My hometown
This is truly best facility in college hockey wow
Great video!
This was awesome
He makes grilled cheese at night HAS to be a Shane Gillis reference no?
Wow. As a Canadian seeing the difference in University setups compared to up North is staggering.
You need to have rich, crazy, Nazi loving donors. You should see some of the college football facilties in the southern US. I think most American would prefer to have Canada's affordable colleges.
@@meyou8141college is affordable here but uni is stupid expensive. For what people pay they would love facilities like this.... my sister paid fuckin 20 grand a year for school here in canada... thats not cheap 4 year program 20 a year
@@meyou8141and that was a basic program she aint a doctor. Shes a fucking dog walker with her own business didnt do anything close to that in uni.
@@meyou8141Nazi loving? Where TF does that come from
Ain't no "vault" Quesnel BC
Man I miss UND hockey games. Was there '07-'11, they had some good teams those years.
Jeeezus… what a barn… it looks way better than the Saddledome
0:10 It's not the only Ralph Engelstad Arena though. There is another smaller Ralph Engelstad Arena just an hour's drive east in Thief River Falls, MN
There is also The Betty (for Ralph's wife) for UND basketball.
Fighting Sioux forever. Great memories ❤
WoW ! Thx for that
Wow. What a facility.
You have to go to bowling green!! The bleacher creatures is the students section and they are rowdy as hell!!
To bad we came up a little short this weekend. Hell of a team and hell of a game. Next year its on. FIGHTING SIOUX FOREVER
I want to see the smaller colleges snd see what theyre working with the struggles they might encounter.
9:37 I used to live in grand forks and I miss those nuts, straight heat
Proud UND alum here. Bout time the Ralph got some love on Chiclets U!
Damn, they really all become pilots lol
fun fact, no one gives a fuck where you went to college
@@DANZIG138 fun fact, you do! Thanks for the comment brother! Nothing shows you care more! 🤙🏽
Whats crazy about college hockey is that teams can have a 17 year old (ex. celebrini) and a 24 year old (ex. jamernik) playing together.
Definetly need this guy to run chiclets air!
They actually sell a candle that smells like the almonds.
Can confirm
Jason Blake’s son rippin it up for them this year
Bring back the WCHA
Facts and CCHA
UND not playing Minnesota every year is a travesty. I hate the Gophers, I’m sure they hate us, we can both easily agree on that point
@@lesteraanholt2857 I miss playing Michigan msu and Ohio state
As a Gopher fan, I miss the WCHA so much. The UND rivalry is special. It’s beyond sad that we don’t play yearly
@@progressive_thinker2844 It’s like the NHL moving the Red Wings to the East. Only a team involved in two of the strongest rivalries in hockey with the Hawks and Avs in the west, better move them to the Atlantic
Thats an amazing facility.
Gotta go to the Minnesota Gophers arena next!
Mrs thinks I’m battling an upset tummy, so I could watch this all in one sit!
thats wild!!! lets see BU's!!!
I have season tickets up in that Organ bar and was at that game
That Jake Caufield story needs a documentary of its own!!
Also for 1st round pick George Pelawa. Died in a car crash his first week at UND in 1986. R.I.P.
The University of North Dakota. A great place to catch a buzz, an STD, and a fricken amazing hockey atmosphere!
Let’s go Sioux!!
