    Barrie Chase is one of Fred Astaire's best partners! She was so beautiful and her dancing in this film was hysterical.

    Saw the movie as a kid when it first came out. Too funny. A classic. I remembered the dance scene with Barry Chase as I was just old enough to start noticing certain things. She really was a talented dancer.

      Also the last surviving cast member of "Flight of the Phoenix" 1965 . ( wasn't much of a part)

    It is stupefying that Barrie Chase, who was Fred Astaire's dancing partner throughout the four television specials made from 1958 to 1968, as well as appearing with Astaire in the Chrysler Theater presentation "Think Pretty" and several Hollywood Palace shows, has not recorded her impressions of making these iconic shows for posterity on DVD re-issues of the specials. There have been numerous requests for the commercial release of the "Evening With " shows that were recorded on high quality videotape. One shouldn't have to go to the Museum of Broadcasting at Paley center to watch these landmark shows under optimum conditions.

    Even after all of these years I'm still very impressed with Price Morgan's way of doing these videos. He was way beyond his years in terms of being interesting and professional with his interviews.

    What a lovely, articulate lady! I can't believe she's eighty; she looks about 20 years younger.

    When was this interview done? 2013? Only three years ago, Barrie would've been 79. She looks really good!

    It's 2018, and I think she and CARL REINER are the only two actors still alive from the classic MAD WORLD film....

    But why did you tear off that leaf? Leave them alone.

    • @barriegiles9076
      @barriegiles9076 3 роки тому +1

      That leaf will eventually fall off anyway. It's really ok to pluck a leaf sometimes. We shouldn't be afraid to do it. If you do any gardening, you know that plucking leaves or blossoms will often promote more growth of the plant.
