It's never too late. I spent ten years in engineering college and then realized I didn't want to spend my life inside an office and still graduated as a systems analyst, and I'm about to graduate from my second major. And along the way I realized that those ten years were not wasted time because many things I learned in my engineering career were useful in my other career and in life as well. This video came at the right time, after a difficult year, when I'm starting to think about traveling. I loved that safari they did, seeing all those beautiful animals that were always so fascinating to me like the elephants, the giraffes, the lions, the zebras, wow, I want to be there!!! and travel around the world. Excellent video! GREETINGS FROM ARGENTINA!!!!
I'm just absolutely astonished by your story telling once again. The colors, the SFX, the shots, the music... Everything just seamlessly combines into a feeling, which motivates thousands of people. Looks like you're having a blast in south Africa! Greetings from Germany!

Dear Niklas, I am Aditya Singh from India, and I have been following you for a long time. You are my source of inspiration and you have taught me a lot. I have learned more from you than from anyone else in my life. I live in a small city called Seoni in India, and I belong to a poor family that can only afford the basic necessities. Niklas, please, I want to work with you. I am very impressed by your lifestyle and I want to make some changes in my life too. I want to live a productive life in a better city. I know that it is very difficult for you to trust an unknown person, but please, Niklas, please take me out of India with you. You don’t even have to pay me, I will work somewhere else so that I can cover my own expenses. I have seen that foreign life style is so good and I want to experience it too. Please, just give me one month, sir. I will try to learn as many skills as possible so that I can help you in your work and I will not be a burden for you anymore. Sir, please, you are my inspiration, you are like a god for me. From your videos only I learned about how to find passion and in India it is not possible to work on your passion. Please, Niklas, help me. You are my last hope. Sincerely, Aditya Singh

Bro, I respect how much work you put into each video! Great combination of awesome shots, editing, storytelling, while still mixing in some down to earth vlogging!! 👊
@@NiklasChristl hey dude you inspired me to do a dopamine detox do you mind if I quote you from a previous video saying "make your beds you lazy b@stards" as I explain you were the inspiration for the video? I just found it really funny and wanted to share the quote haha
I took the decision to left my job and do what i love. I am from Mozambique, & I love cars and motorcycles. When I was a child I used to build /restoring bikes, I was the most happy child in my hood. No more time to wast . Thank you bro
Dude I dropped my job at age 32, its never too late. I just started a new project on UA-cam 1 month ago at age 37. I'll never change that. In the end of my life I'll smile and I hope I was happy about all the things I've done. We spend too much time waiting for the perfect moment. There will not be another life like this one.
"I was the only one concerned with that question, what am I going to do after High School." Dude same, I really hear you on this one!!! And without judgment, it is so interesting to see that a lot of the time the few people which were actually concerned with that question end up doing something really special and different like you. Every day I asked myself that question since I was 15, obsessed with it, and while I have a lot more I want to create, give and get better at, I was a bit mad at myself. And then, yesterday I met a former classmate by coincidence, and every time that happens I am shocked with how most people are still the same way. They still don't know what they want, they still coast around planless, because they either forgot what they loved as a child or always listened to the society and pressure of other people to go down the "safe path" which for most people, leads to misery. Clarity only comes from being bold enough to ask difficult questions and being patient to find the answer. 🖖Even though it took me 5 years to find my thing, I think it is still 5 years earlier than most people. Because if you keep going, you will eventually find the thing you came here to be and do.
Bro! Your videos are so freaking inspiring! It motivates me even more to work on my skills and build a better channel! Big fan from Canada!! Keep them coming! 🔥🤙🏻
When I started in film making in the early 1990s the entry costs were around £500 to hire a camera and £500 a day to hire an edit suite, it was far too expensive to buy your own then and an edit suite would take up a whole room. It's amazing that thesedays you can just start with your phone, edit at home and upload within hours.
Omg literally pivoting in my career, so Matt's story hit home. Loved the part where he emphasized on not looking at the past as wasted time! So powerful!
Ok, this got me teary eyed! It's exactly what I have been going through - loving filmmaking since age 11, but chose the "safe" path and became a doctor. I am lucky to have 2 passions - sleep medicine and filmmaking. So now this year I finally lowered my work-time and started a youtube channel to combine these two passions! 😍 Let's go!
Never too late to follow your passion, and most importantly, to re-connect with a long lost passion. Kudos to Matt and may we all be brave enough to make decisions that are in-line with what we want the most. Another incredible video, Niklas. Thanks 🔥
If somebody dying to seek the meaning of life, just start to follow what you're passionate about.. then you will be found by that meaning.. This guy is an great example.. hey niklas, lots of love from Sri Lanka
The main thing is that if you have a burning desire to do something else with your life, then you owe it to yourself to give it a try. You can’t regret giving something a try. You may even fail. But at least you will have tried. And you won’t regret that.
Niklas, this video was absolutely amazing. Great work mate! I felt the same way like Matt so I quitted my boring 9 to 5 job 2 weeks ago, applied for a working holiday visa for Canada, get it and in only 2 months I‘m going to fly there and living my dream. Photography and Filmmaking is a big passion for me as well so I guess it‘s the right time to improve my skills and maybe some day I will be a filmmaker like you! You’re a big inspiration for me! I hope you’re doing well and keep going with your amazing work! Cheers Yannic
How much your videos have improved in such a short time is unbelievable! They’ve always been great, but you can tell you’re really honing in the craft. The narrative, the shots, the editing, grading, pacing - it all feels so cohesive with a high quality of production. I’m excited for you Niklas and happy to see following your passion has worked out so well! It’s inspiring me to take a look at my own life. Keep killin it 🔥
Dude, I love you and your content.i needed this video. God bless you and keep on inspiring young and adults out there. Happy to hear you are in RSA. I'm following right here in South Africa 🌍 JHb
My passion is to become a full time UA-camr and share my love for fitness in the form of running long distances such as marathons and ultras). I share this love with my twin brother, and we love to inspire and motivate others to find their true passion in life, and share our life for running. Our parents always said to start our young so that is what we did, me and my twin created a UA-cam channel at the age of 15 and when we were 16, we decided to combine our UA-cam channels to really share our love. Our passion is to do this full time and to basically run sub elite. We also plan to create a clothing line for running, so if anyone has any tips please share them on how to build a clothing brand.
Danke dir für alles 🤞🏼 you changed a lot things.
This story hit home. I just finished school (here in SA) and I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I'm really in love with creating. So photography and filmmaking are actually things I want to pursue. But some people around me feel like I won't be able to make a living out of it and it really influences my decisions. I really want to follow my passion and this video showed me that I can do whatever makes me happy!
I am a current junior at a college that I don't want to be at anymore. Long story short....started out at one school that I didn't like after a year, then the pandemic hit, and chose to transfer to the college I am currently at because my father works there and I live 10 minutes away; I have been at this school since 2020 and really don't like it anymore. My passion is in the music business and jazz performance for saxophone, so I am transferring again. I've been feeling quite down and overwhelmed by the fact that I am not where I'd like to be and I am not making friends. But watching your videos has gotten me through this anxiety. Your content is truly incredible. This video made me tear up. Thank you for the inspiration!
Niklas if you read this I don’t think you know the impact you have on people’s lives because you are an inspiration to many people including me,you have made me get into filmmaking and game development love from Michigan
Recently got laid off and having to reflect on continuing down my career path or pivoting entirely! This story resonates so much with where I am now. It is a struggle of trying to work to have the freedom to pursue my passion vs pursuing my passions and forcing everything else to work!
Niklas, you're an inspiration for me. Thank you for sharing your ideas, you're leaving the world a place a little better to live, for sure! 👋 Hi from 🇧🇷
There are many youtubers out there who's genre is Filmmaking and stuff but ain't nobody matches your editing and video skills (Drone shots too) its too good and i can see how perfectly you try to put all the color grading and sound effects to make a look like a professional movie and you are really really good at that, and thanks for giving us such sick videos i really look forward to all your uploads :))
Absolutely brilliant as always. This hit home as I am 29 and pivoted away from working in tech to following my own passion for filmmaking and photography a year ago. It's been a bumpy road, but it's so worth it to wake up passionate about what you're going to be spending all your time doing. Authenticity first!
Good job man, I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors! Niklas did such a good job with this video like always, he gives me so much inspiration with my channel!
Just to answer that.... It is never to late to follow you're passion! I'm probably one if not the oldest guy writing here... I'd did love filming when I was young but went a total different way because when I was young it wasn't really an option... I think this is now the age af creative s... I started a production company just 1,5 years ago... I love every moment... I love learning every day... So as long as I feel good and fit I will keep it up! Niklas is really talented and it's great that he wants to inspire... Keep it up and never back down.... I just turned 49 so started with 47... So it all depends on you! Everyone should follow their passion and the world would be Evan more awsome!
It’s absolutely insane how connected I am to your work. Every video hits me differently and inspires me even though I’m not on the level you are. What I would give to spend a few days with you for some raw inspiration. Cheers
Wow Niklas, hart hitting for sure. Never too late to change - I changed country and careers at the age of 55. I also have a 16 year old who is depressed as there seems to be so much pressure to succeed and school seems to be the only defining place for most kids. My eldest son was a law student at Stellenbosch (like Matt) did 2 years and never felt the course was for him. Had to start from first year again in Maastricht University and almost failed first year, but persisted and is in his final year now. He also stressed about 'losing-time' as if someone was watching him. But the change was good for him and he can see a path that he wants to define for himself. I on the other hand am still exploring my next great challenge, I am mastering being a jack-of-all-trades, but a master-of-none. Great video of South Africa, that was extra special.
Thank you for this sharing! I agree w/ it! I did the same : Master's degree, a stable paid job, and this Monday I just said to my bosses that I'll quit soon, to follow the filmmaking adventure
Hi guys, I am more like Matt. Did my studies to the end, to follow another path after that. I am ten years older than you, and I am still on the way of doing my own thing. I am really close now :) You are so right! You should not regret the time, and see it as wasted. This is hard to do. Even harder in ower society! So thanks a lot for giving espeacially young people the good spirit!
For real me and my twin are 16 and were told to follow our passion at a young age so that’s what we did. Me and my brother posted our first UA-cam video to follow our dream at 15c, and we hope to be able to follow our passion
With every video you put out here, you're really a Genius. Watched till the end because this also resonates with me. Thanks to Matt for sharing his story.
This video and the „don’t let your dreams be dreams“- Videos are not only more cinematic than all other ones on UA-cam but also so inspiring. I am now 14 and I am really hoping to be brave enough, making a life out of filmmaking!
You are real deal INSPIRATION for me. 🙏🏻❤️ Im very greatful Niklas. Ive just closed down my restaurant after 9 years. Before that I had renovation company for 9 years also. Didnt feel „my way” in either of them. There is This inner voice Inside me, its been trying to wake me up for years. Im full of faith that voice will guide me towards following my passion. Feels like summer time inside me. Im 41 and I feel free now. It is never to late. Youth its a state of mind. Im Happy Ive reached to the point in my life that I dont give a fcuk and Im not taking life so super seriously. Im on my 3rd attempt to connect trade and passion. Hello world, here I come. ❤️🙏🏻❤️ Thank you everyone who reads This. Love and peace.
The storytelling behind every message is so bad ass bro! Such So deep meaning of life that a lot of us overlook and take for granite! I don’t know if this is a message from God but I recently took a step back from work and trying to get started on what I truly love doing as well! Woke up overthinking this morning your video pops up! I love it man and take care! Dreams really do come true!
You inspire me. I always was the guy that made videos in high school and stopped doing it ever since. Yesterday I enrolled in a filmmaking certificate program, thank you!
Beautiful video man. It gives me hope. I got fired from a job I hated nearly two years ago and it shocked me into doing what I really wanted to do. So I started at the bottom of freelance filmmaking. Nearly two years later and my career is getting there. I still have those nights where I'm scared that its all for nothing but I got a good support system to keep me pushing. Seeing someone else turn around and get to do what they love makes me feel better about my own future.
Why do I love niklas christl content so much? The down to earthness and heart warmingness. These are words but that’s how I’m gonna describe it, the society of being brain washed, non of us can understand, would love to switch it up, scared to jump 😔
Nklas, I love all your videos, they are all so eye-opening for me, but this one especially shows me how messed up our society is, its better to follow what you think is your purpose (your passion), no matter what other people think of you, just keep pushing. I'm just 13, but I am already thinking about following a path that is not yet written by our society, and I'm looking forward to what will happen later. Again I love your videos, and keep it up!!!
Hey Niklas, what an awesome video! I‘m always so happy to see new videos from you. In this video I you brought your storytelling to a next level in my opinion. You connected the pictures and the voice over so well, that the 20 minutes felt like 5. I could watch videos like this all day long. Thank you for sharing your experiences and for putting in all the work in your videos. Wish you the best 🙏🏼
only half way through, i completely with you on that, when i graduated high school and prior to, whenever asked the question " what do you want to do with a career" i dont know.. I didn't know then it made me super frustrated and to this day after being out of High school 3 years I am still unsure of what i would like to do.. I too cried bc i didn't know how to deal with that one questions
Man this video just hit me like a truck. I dropped everything and decided to make videos when I was 29 years old I am 36 years old now I still feel I am left behind, struggling in a sea full of creators much younger, much more creative and has much more financial capacity that I am. But with this words " I constantly remind myself to drop the act and strive for authenticity rather than applause" , It made me realize that I am where I am right now because this is what my heart tells me to.. Thank you Matt and Niklas. I am forever indebted to you.
Wow, Matt's story really hit a note with me. I've been trying to create content but something just hasn't been sitting right with me. I'm not creating what I want to. And the quote at the end really struck a note with me. Time for a big shake up, I need to take back control. Massive love and thanks to you guys. Love your work Niklas. Looking forward to you making fresh content
Creating from the heart is more important than creating something that'll get a lot of views. Key is to find the sweetspot where those 2 collide. I had the same problem as you, how did you manage to tackle it?
@Mvddict I am still working on it to be honest. It's been a very tough few months trying to figure out how to create the content I want to, but also bearing in mind the UA-cam metrics. Things I've done were just have a big brainstorming session where I put all my thoughts on paper. What videos I've made that I enjoyed and why, what videos did I not enjoy and why. And then also what is the driving force behind me creating content and what is are rhe messages I want to get across or the things I want to share with people. It's still a work in progress and I have no idea if it'll work but it feels like I'm moving in the right direction
There are very few videos I actually ‘like’, mostly to make the algorithm work, but your’s are different. It’s not just terrific storytelling & editing work but every upload of yours leaves me with goosebumps at the end just due to the sheer wave of realisation that drowns one in.
Niklas and Matt, you have no idea how badly I needed and enjoyed this video! As someone in their mid 40s, I'm hitting that brick wall where I am in a job that has taught me so much about myself, but I know it's not fulfilling and find it hard to get through each day. With my own channel, my hope is to inspire others and be as genuine and authentic as possible to maybe help others! ✌️

Dear Niklas,
I am Aditya Singh from India, and I have been following you for a long time.
Sincerely, Aditya Singh
the amount of time that goes into these videos is so worth it. Like I'm watching a movie
Exactly! the cinematography is mindblowing

Hypoxia
Lack of oxygen.
At high altitude the oxygen concentration in the atmosphere decreases. When oxygen level drops the blood vessels in the lungs constrict:
Hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction (HPV), also known as the Euler-Liljestrand mechanism, is a physiological phenomenon in which small pulmonary arteries constrict in the presence of alveolar hypoxia (low oxygen levels).
Wikipedia, Hypoxic Pulmonary Vasoconstriction, 2019
The blood vessels in the lungs constrict when oxygen level drops. This was only known recently however this was portrayed in the Quran 1400 years before it was discovered.
[Quran 6.125] Those whom Allah wants to guide, He opens their chests to Islam; And those whom He wants to leave astray, He makes their chests tight and constricted, as if they are ascending to the sky: Such is the penalty of Allah on those who refuse to believe.
"He makes their chests tight and constricted, as if they are ascending to the sky" today we know why it gets constricted, lack of oxygen. No mistakes in the Quran.
How could an illiterate man who lived 1400 years ago have known what gets constricted at high altitude?.. .and if you want hundreds of mircles enter here: www.miracles-of-quran.com/ The message is ended.. Bro, I respect how much work you put into each video! Great combination of awesome shots, editing, storytelling, while still mixing in some down to earth vlogging!! 👊
I love to eat potato.... I'll eat you🥔
Thanks so much man! Glad to see you watching the videos :)
@@NiklasChristl you should try more vlogging also....
Love it bro! Epic color grading and the drone shots with the elephants are mental haha😵😍
Haha thanks man! Seems like the half terrabyte of ProRes drone shots paid off 😂
@@NiklasChristl hey dude you inspired me to do a dopamine detox do you mind if I quote you from a previous video saying "make your beds you lazy b@stards" as I explain you were the inspiration for the video?

Then why r u still not growing 😢
quote - consistency comes from authenticity
When I started in film making in the early 1990s the entry costs were around £500 to hire a camera and £500 a day to hire an edit suite, it was far too expensive to buy your own then and an edit suite would take up a whole room. It's amazing that thesedays you can just start with your phone, edit at home and upload within hours.
Omg literally pivoting in my career, so Matt's story hit home. Loved the part where he emphasized on not looking at the past as wasted time! So powerful!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do.
😍 Let's go!
Love this! we will follow your journey.
Never too late to follow your passion, and most importantly, to re-connect with a long lost passion. Kudos to Matt and may we all be brave enough to make decisions that are in-line with what we want the most. Another incredible video, Niklas. Thanks 🔥
Thanks Gabie 💙

Dude, your channel’s growth has been completely out of this world!
You deserve this and more! :)
Aw, we really are the master of our destiny… thanks dear
If somebody dying to seek the meaning of life, just start to follow what you're passionate about.. then you will be found by that meaning.. This guy is an great example.. hey niklas, lots of love from Sri Lanka
Servus von München. Beautifully made Video with a beautiful massage!
I love your videos mate, they are so relatable and help me get through tough times
These videos are changing my life thank you !!
I couldn't agree with you more! His video have that affect on me too! I get so much inspiration from him with my channel!
Absolutely perfect! 🤜🤛🔥
The main thing is that if you have a burning desire to do something else with your life, then you owe it to yourself to give it a try. You can’t regret giving something a try. You may even fail. But at least you will have tried. And you won’t regret that.
It just gets better and better. Great job Niklas, the shots are amazing but the story is just pure gold!
Absolutely insane cinematography and storytelling
I'm from South Africa and so many things here I can relate with. Thanks for sharing Mat's story. Very inspirational!!
I couldn’t agree more! Such a good video, very inspirational! I get so much inspiration from him with my channel!
You are so inspirational! Because of you I think I’ve realized my passion for film making and I’m gonna try to pursue my dream !!!
There should have to be a podcast
Niklas, this video was absolutely amazing. Great work mate!
I felt the same way like Matt so I quitted my boring 9 to 5 job 2 weeks ago, applied for a working holiday visa for Canada, get it and in only 2 months I‘m going to fly there and living my dream. Photography and Filmmaking is a big passion for me as well so I guess it‘s the right time to improve my skills and maybe some day I will be a filmmaker like you! You’re a big inspiration for me! I hope you’re doing well and keep going with your amazing work!
Cheers Yannic
What was your work profile??

I couldn’t agree more with you! His videos are very inspiring! I get so much inspiration from him with my channel!
Great Story !!! I Love it
Fan from CANADA !
Powerful message Nikito!! SUCH A FUN TRIP🤓🪱
Thanks amigo! Can‘t wait for the next adventure together 💯😁
I loved your friend group man. So supportive , and you are never going to feel sad for a minute. Amazing.I need such friends around me .
Danke dir für alles 🤞🏼 you changed a lot things.
At last another upload honestly each one of these videos is a blessing! Thank you Niklas!!!!!
Junge Junge, was ein Kinofilm! Respekt an dich und deinen Spirit. Das Video ist ein absoluter eye-opener!
Dude you just made me cry. I think I need to rethink my life and chase what I've always wanted
Niklas if you read this I don’t think you know the impact you have on people’s lives because you are an inspiration to many people including me,you have made me get into filmmaking and game development love from Michigan
That's awesome! Thanks so much for the feedback :)
Recently got laid off and having to reflect on continuing down my career path or pivoting entirely! This story resonates so much with where I am now. It is a struggle of trying to work to have the freedom to pursue my passion vs pursuing my passions and forcing everything else to work!
The Driver really enjoyed his trip as well 😂
Nice video man, very inspiring! Thanks and regards from Mexico
Niklas, you're an inspiration for me. Thank you for sharing your ideas, you're leaving the world a place a little better to live, for sure!
👋 Hi from 🇧🇷
this video realy inspire me to do more video after i stopped
There are many youtubers out there who's genre is Filmmaking and stuff but ain't nobody matches your editing and video skills (Drone shots too) its too good and i can see how perfectly you try to put all the color grading and sound effects to make a look like a professional movie and you are really really good at that, and thanks for giving us such sick videos i really look forward to all your uploads :))
Godd!! This was amazing Nik. Felt like watching a very deep meaningful short film♥️ Thanks for such an important message💯
Love all your videos man ❤️
I couldn’t agree more I love his videos so much too! I get so much inspiration from him with my channel!
“Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.” You got this bestie
I can't explain how motivated u r how amazing you are💜💜
It’s absolutely insane how connected I am to your work. Every video hits me differently and inspires me even though I’m not on the level you are. What I would give to spend a few days with you for some raw inspiration. Cheers
Love your video, bro!

Brother love ❤ from India 🇮🇳
Thank you for this sharing! I agree w/ it! I did the same : Master's degree, a stable paid job, and this Monday I just said to my bosses that I'll quit soon, to follow the filmmaking adventure
Hi guys, I am more like Matt. Did my studies to the end, to follow another path after that. I am ten years older than you, and I am still on the way of doing my own thing. I am really close now :)
You are so right!
Very cool history
With every video you put out here, you're really a Genius. Watched till the end because this also resonates with me. Thanks to Matt for sharing his story.
I couldn’t agree more with you! Niklas’s videos are very inspirational! I get so much inspiration from him with my channel!
Wow, this one went straight to the soul. Such a beautiful message, told in such an amazing way. Thank you Niklas 🙏🏾
This video and the „don’t let your dreams be dreams“- Videos are not only more cinematic than all other ones on UA-cam but also so inspiring. I am now 14 and I am really hoping to be brave enough, making a life out of filmmaking!
You are real deal INSPIRATION for me. 🙏🏻❤️
Im very greatful Niklas.
Your way to tell two stories at once is just mind blowing !
Every word in speeches are so true. Thank you very much for sharing!
Dude believe me ur works should be on Netflix not UA-cam 😱🔥
You inspire me. I always was the guy that made videos in high school and stopped doing it ever since. Yesterday I enrolled in a filmmaking certificate program, thank you!
Beautiful video man. It gives me hope. I got fired from a job I hated nearly two years ago and it shocked me into doing what I really wanted to do. So I started at the bottom of freelance filmmaking. Nearly two years later and my career is getting there. I still have those nights where I'm scared that its all for nothing but I got a good support system to keep me pushing. Seeing someone else turn around and get to do what they love makes me feel better about my own future.
you're making me cry in all your recent videos. Keep Going man, you rock!
The motivation is real ♥️
Thank you for sharing your passion with us all.
Why do I love niklas christl content so much? The down to earthness and heart warmingness. These are words but that’s how I’m gonna describe it, the society of being brain washed, non of us can understand, would love to switch it up, scared to jump 😔
I agree with you 100 percent, you can tell he actually cares about you. I get so much inspiration from him with my channel!
i'm going through this right now, thank you for sharing! the vids get better every time!
Thanks Niklas...This video came at that time when i much needed in my life.
You have useful videos. Keep up the good work
Nklas, I love all your videos, they are all so eye-opening for me, but this one especially shows me how messed up our society is, its better to follow what you think is your purpose (your passion), no matter what other people think of you, just keep pushing.
You are giving me chills... currently I can't think about anything else then the passion that burns inside me and I work everyday towards it
Your work is Just SOOO good! Sooooo good!
only half way through, i completely with you on that, when i graduated high school and prior to, whenever asked the question " what do you want to do with a career" i dont know..
I am forever indebted to you.
making productions like this in your age...i believe you will make most iconic productions. dont stop going, im with you🏅
Simply, thank you ❤️🇿🇦
Big respect to both of you ❤
Wow, Matt's story really hit a note with me.
@@JustinBainbridgeYT Thank you for this! Good luck on your journey!
IT'S NEVER TOO LATE , JUST KEEP PUSHING YOUR LIMITS
This is one of the most motivational channels I've ever seen thank you so much!
