if you collect the thing that you sell it's not so scummy, there will always be resellers and they will always be scummy because they found the thing you want before you could lol.
Like most people buy from a reseller even if you buy from someone selling their collection they for that moment in time and all intents and purposes are in fact by definition a reseller. Not to mention GameStop, local game stores, bestbuy, toys r us are all resellers. So a blanket generalize I hate resellers doesn’t work.

So early last year i completed my NES set but i decided to pursue a CIB collection. Im a box collector for all my consoles. It took me about 10 years to do it but it was soooo fulfulling to have a complete box set. My last game was Panic Restaurant. My NES was my 6th complete set. My first complete set was the Dreamcast then the Turbografx, Sega Master, virtual Boy, and lastly the Sega Saturn. I need 1 more game to complete the Sega CD, 2 more for the Wii U, and 5 more for the 32X. I hope to complete those 3 by the end of this year. And im focusing on SNES now. Im about 3/4's there. Its been the hardest to collect for.
My question is do you actually open up the nes boxes or just turn on the modded mini.... when playing nes... so easy to emulate. PS3 Xbox 360 and newer are much harder to emulate those full sets are impressive. Like the guy with the long beard and store has all the switch stuff that's wild....

Maybe it's just me but Gabo moving on a large part of the set so quickly feels anti-climatic. Got it and then it's done, now sell off. I know, everyone collects differently - I just do not understand collecting the whole set to just move it on. I'd understand having it for a while then moving on but it feels like the collection was already up for sale during the hunt. I guess it's about creating content - the journey, stories etc. Thanks for the vid guys and chat.

For me (Riff) I would say both. 80% of the time I use my Mister Addons and the other 20% play my plastic the OG way ♥️
