Ironically, I'm putting down a wash on the interior and saw this. Mostly following the instructions, and it's quite an enjoyable build so far. After the wash I'll add the glass and close the fuselage!
Yes they do. Look above step 1. Basic colour would be a bluish-grey, think haze grey for crew compartments and aotake for non-crew areas (bomb bay, inside the gear wells, inside walls of the engines.).
Depends on the modeller and his build philosophy. Take the landing gear for example. A fiddly part. Someone looking for a stronger bond and more straightforward building process will follow the instructions and assemble and paint the parts, then mask them before the main camouflage colour is applied. Others, with a finer pulse and steadier hand will build the whole kit as painted sub-assemblies - airframe, landing gear, engines -, then move on to the main colours and put everything together at the very end. As I said, it depends on the modeler and how the kit is approached. Cheers.
awesome job well done ICM
Well done ICM. Keep the 1/48 scale twins coming. Especially Japanese twins.
Good job!
Nice detailed plastic model by ICM. 👍

I like WWII Japanese aircraft so this is good. Will pick one up for the stash.
Great job! I'm looking forward to it.
Great! It's a fine looking airplane.
The model (and this video) look incredible! 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
Great news ICM. Keep the 1/48 scale twins coming. Especially the

What an excellent animation...
Одна із довгоочікуваних моделей. Дякую ICM. Чи слід очікувати моделі в інших маркуваннях і наступних модифікаціях?
Would there be a 1/48 Ki-21-llb model kit in your plan? Hope to see it in the near future.
When will this be out? Was supposed to be 3rd qtr 2023. Had pre-ordered but no news.
Супер! Лайк 5+
So what colour do I paint the interior? The instructions do not say.
Yes they do. Look above step 1. Basic colour would be a bluish-grey, think haze grey for crew compartments and aotake for non-crew areas (bomb bay, inside the gear wells, inside walls of the engines.).
How will painting affect this sequence?
