Why you need an adjustable Panhard Bar

  • Ironman4x4 has a LC100 series adjustable panhard bar that i would assume could work for us, however there is no length on their website, and when I called, they did not have the dimensions of the bar. It is a risk getting one, and they aren't the cheapest, however my assumption is that is would most likely work.
    From my research, a factory mustang panhard bar is 41 3/4", so this should work for the sequoias as well perfectly. If you do happen to buy this bar AND it does work, please comment on the video so I can pin it and others can see the best budget option, if it does not work, summit has a great return policy and you have helped the sequoia community.

    Mustang pan hard bar does work on sequoia ! Purchased it and worked well you should add a shim/washer in-between the bushing.

      Awesome!! I assumed it would work but wasn’t positive!! Did you purchase the one linked? Or which one did you purchase so we can share with the sequoia community?

      @@pedromaya4742 I ordered the same and the threaded rod is not long enough to have enough threads engaged to be safe. Did you ceter your vehicle and what lift do you have?

    What problem are you having I have a 2007 sequoia sr5 4x4 3" lift all around 🤔

      No problem, just sometimes the rear end feels like it’s swinging around turning one direction, also, it affects your center of gravity and roll over

    How do you install it? I just got one from Sorano Steel and I can’t get the darn thing in at the extended length I need it to be to be centered. Wished it can be adjusted after install.

      You can use a ratchet strap to adjust axle left/right, then stick bolts through

      @@treehouseoffroad I got it in by jacking up the axle on the passenger side after having the bar hooked up to the axle first. It pulled the body back til the holes lined up.

    What's better the weld on bracket or the adjustable bar?

    • @isaacspoon
      @isaacspoon  2 роки тому +1

      If you only needed one, I’d get the weld bracket. It made a Huge difference. But you really should do both. Check out treehouse overland. He has a video on how to modify the factory panhard bar

      The bracket is the best way to get it centered properly and actually correct the geometry, the adjustable bar is just for fine tuning.

      @@dirttales it didn’t center my factory bar, it was over an inch off center still.
